The hit to his head, though distant, hurt like a bitch, and this made him slightly ticked which in turn made the fire grow a little bigger now giving off a noticeable heat.

And since he kept going Mathew would hit him again in the head. Same spot. Full power. And again. And again.

Each time the rock hit it would feel more and more distant until he couldn't tell if he was unconscious but what he did know is he was furious a burning rage had filled inside of him and the fire had grown to represent that it was now a giant blaze that threatened to engulf him. The blood red flamed now filled the entire room leaving him in the center the flame almost licking at his face. He would try speaking to Matthew but he no longer knew if he could hear him. He wasn't even sure if he were speaking in the outside world.
"The flame has surrounded me, what should I do now master?"
He wasn't sure if these words made it out of his head but even if they did would he even know if his master responded?

The small pillar of stone that came out of his sleeve flattened as he brought his hand around and slammed it in to Rai's throat. Without a word.

That final hit set the blaze wild and it completely consumed him. The burning was intense and felt as though his blood was going to boil out of skin. He was sure that he was dying, but then something inside of him came to life. Something he couldn't explain, it was a whole new rush of power. Then out of no where his blood seemed to come to life and move on its own accord forming what appeared to be two chains in his hands, all of his blood came to life moving his body without his want to and the chains would whip around and spin slicing and cutting at the blaze as it did so the fire would seem to be absorbed into the blood chains and back into his body giving him more and more control over the blood in his veins.
When at last all of the fire had been extinguished he could fully move around and he looked at the blood chains in his hand, unique weapons to be sure but he liked it. Then he wondered if the chains would stay outside of his body, and upon that thought the chains would go back into his skin returning to its natural liquid state and continue to flow through out his body. Interesting... Rai would think to himself before coming back to consciousness.
"Ugh... What the hell happened to me?"
He felt like he had a major headache his face felt near broken, and his throat felt swollen. He would look at Matthew, if he were still there, hoping that his question would/could be answered.

Rai hurt but he figured that was the best he was gonna get. He looked down at his hands remembering the blood chains. Is that my power? Rai thought for a moment before turning back to Mathew and telling him what happened while he was meditating.
"What do you think it means?"

Until he gets it down, then it will be easier. That's why they did these things the hard way.
