So he wasn't just training his apprentices, he was training himself. He needed to keep sharp and keep strong. He was unwilling to waver or to slip. And to piss of Bastille a little bit, he was being reckless. Still sore over the fight they had where she woke him up abruptly. Because of Blaze of all things! He rolled his eyes.
His footfalls were heavy. Heavier than normal, and sweat was beading down his forehead as he jogged through Barker territory. He had on his normal gear. Including the weighted Earth Dragon Coat. But under that he had rock wrapped around his torso and over his back and arms. Three hundred pounds of stone to be exact.
A heavy load for him, but it was helping him to build up strength and endurance. Though he wasn't going to far in to Barker territory. But far enough to make sure there was nothing around the new underground base they just took. It would be a shame to have Barker mount a surprise assault so soon after it's takeover.

OOC: Hope ya don't mind me jumping in
Closer to Barker's territory was Rina's favorite spot to work on her parkour and maybe train some. Twisting beams of metal from a fallen building remained in the air, creating walkways and bar stairs. Running up the side of a rather flat pole, Rina flipped backward as she reached the top, gripping a beam behind her and swinging herself up into the air. She climbed and swung her way higher, until she was high enough to see the landscape around her.
Upon seeing someone running through the streets, Rina crouched down, cautious. She really never saw anyone else out here except Barker's men, and they weren't ever looking up. So who was this?
While debating on whether or not she wanted to go and find out, Rina accidentally knocked a loose piece of what was left of the building over the edge of the platform she was on. "Shit!" she thought, reaching down to try and catch it. Too late. She cringed as the stone clanged all the way down.

OOC: Nope, totally cool.
IC: He was always aware of his surroundings, especially in Barker territory. Which is why the unexpected sound of rubble caused him to curse. He hadn't sensed anything moving on the ground. And he wasn't used to things being above him. A careless mistake.
His hands pointed downward and the mass of stone he had around his body shot out from under his sleeves, connecting with the ground and making two large pillars that pushed Mathew up to the level of Rina. His green eyes sweeping until he spotted her. She wasn't dressed like one of Barker's goons though. That didn't make her a friend, but it did keep him from trying to kill her, for the moment.
"Who the hell are you?"
Eloquent.

And cue the confrontation.
Rina straightened up to her full height of five foot eight, tall for a woman, but she didn't think that'd give her an edge if he decided to attack her. He could move the Earth for crying out loud. It was clear that he wasn't under Barker's rule...still, she wouldn't want to tangle with this guy by the looks of things.
"Who the hell are you?" he demanded.
Despite the fact that she had been expecting such a reaction, his words raised her hackles. She hated being spoken to in such a manner. "I don't think it matters if I'm not under Barker's control." she all but snarled, knowing very well that she was letting her temper get out of hand.
This was Barker's territory, and so of course both she and the stranger would be on edge. They didn't know each other. "I don't care!" she thought to herself stubbornly, the emotion of it flashing in her ice-colored gaze. "He shouldn't be so disrespectful! It's obvious that I'm not one Barker's people!"

"Don't make me repeat myself."
His voice was hard and his eyes were like fire as they narrowed at her. Not one of Barkers, but that did not mean ally. He started to work more stone up the pillars to cover his body again, and prepared to send an attack should he feel the need.

"Okay, okay. Calm down...I certainly don't want to fight you." she grumbled. "My name is Rina Vade. And you are...?" she put her hands on her hips and stared right back at him, unwilling to let her eyes drop in a sign if submission.
OOC- Crappy ><
