About That Fruit (Aryn/Open)

Leon grinned finishing off his fruit as he watched Aryn eat, wondering what was going to happen with her.

Aryn moved her hand up the vine she was currently touching before pressing her hand flat against the wall. She took another bite, yet as she chewed - toes curling because, it was actually, stupidly, delicious - she felt her body burn up.

Not literally, but it felt like she'd been thrown into a blast furnace and lit up. Or she'd fallen into hell to be consumed by fire. A couple beads of sweat rolled down her temples, and Aryn stared, unseeing, at the wall as an inferno shot up in front of her eyes. Of course, Leon wouldn't be able to see the fire or feel the heat, but Aryn did. Her fingers bent against the wall, and even though her knuckles went white with the pressure she exerted, she backed away and turned her eyes to Leon, swallowing slowly.

"So. What did the fruit do for you?"

The flames consumed, but it was an hallucination only. As she took another bite, they started to lessen, and she started to cool down with what felt like a breeze of soft, cool air. She was aware of something more within herself, but wasn't sure as to what. Time would tell that story.

Leon's grin began to show teeth at her question.

"Well, everyone has seen my electricity, but..."

He'd raise his hand letting the bolts zip between his fingers, before clenching his fist, and standing upright allowing the bolts to snap off his body, the originally blue bolts took a darker, blacker color with an ominous dark blue glow.

"It took away the repricussions for using my Qi at its max, but is taking away my eye sight."

"Well, jeezus, there's no need to give me a demonstration to make it blind you faster." Aryn sniped, but, overall, she was impressed.

It was interesting to see the difference between that and the one he'd used at her place. As she finished the fruit with another bite or two, she shivered. Ah-ha-ha-ha. Hah. Cold. An arm was crossed over herself, leaning the elbow of the hand with the last bite of fruit on her arm.

"Odd fruit. Tell me it doesn't do this each time you eat the thing?"

Leon would deactivate his Qi and lean back against the wall with a chuckle, watching her carefully. Gauging the effect it had on her, beginning to grow curious.

"No, I've eaten a few since and it seems to only part one gift to the consumer."

Leon would raise an eye brow though.

"How do you feel?"

[Aryn Valcoph]

Unconcerned, she sucked the fruit juice from her fingers. One at a time, for best effect, and then tapped her index finger against her bottom lip.

"Good. I don't need to feel like I'm getting hot and cold flashes this young."

Aryn shrugged.

"Freezing." The verbal acknowledgement sent a shiver down her spine, but even that was starting to dissipate. "But aware. That thing you mentioned, about being or having something more, I can feel it. I just don't know what it is or how to use it."

"Oh?"

Leon coo'ed outloud at this. He'd leave his position from the wall and walk over to her. He'd reach up to put a hand on each or her shoulders looking at her eyes best he could, with his odd eyes.

"Well then. I think we have means for an ipromptu training match."

Leon would smile wide though, it would seem this fruit was bringing forth her Qi, and he had means to force her intot he situation of using it.

"Whatcha say we go outside and have some fun?"

Odd as his eyes were, they were interesting. Aryn could even admit to liking them. The hands on her shoulders caused her eyebrows to shoot up briefly in surprise. Almost as much as the odd coo.

Impromptu training match. Outside for some fun. With a neat twist, Aryn's mind totally turned that over, and even though she was fairly certain Leon hadn't meant that - unfortunately - she reached up to curl an arm around the back of his neck, rise up the three or so inches she needed to kiss him soundly, deeply...

And then twisted after breaking the kiss, pulling his head down for a quick, rough, noogie.

Yes. Aryn just noogied Leon.

Oh ho!

Leon hadn't expected the noogie at all!

He'd push his head out from under her arm towards the stairs to leave, with a nice ass slap/zap for good measure.

Once outside he'd stand in an open area flicking his hands to his sides to prepare for the upcoming attack he was about to do. Trying to gauge how not to kill her immediately.

Meep! Aryn got zap-smacked! she jumped, just a little, more from the electrical shock than actually being smacked...but she got her noogie in, so it was all good. She followed Leon and pouted when they didn't get to go through the main room.

Backdooring already, Leon?

Noting the way he was flicking his hands, it made her wary.

"So tell me. Just how many apprentices have you had?" Her eyes narrowed. A man like him, he'd have had to have come across some.

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would rotate his shoulder a bit.

"Ten."

Simple answer, he felt warmed up enough now.

[Aryn Valcoph]

"Ten and there are only three Dragons? ...just how many survived?"

Her odds weren't looking good. She shifted on her feet.

[Mr. Kaar]

"Yes three Dragons."

Leon would say as he looked to Aryn.

"One survived, though he is not a Dragon."

[Aryn Valcoph]

...well, her chances of surviving weren't looking good, but perhaps she could still become a Dragon.

"And why isn't he?"

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would smile.

"I didn't train him to be a Dragon. Though he is capable enough to try it. I taught him to be a fighter."

Leon would wait to see if she had any other questions.

"One warning though. I wont be holding back. Your Qi will surface when you 'need' it, and only then will you be able to conjure it when you want it."
