Levi walked out of the peace cafe, workout gear in a dufflebag slung over his shoulder, looking about and eventually choosing a direction to walk. As he started to walk down the street, three suited men, all Japanese, walked out of the alley to follow him. The Ex-Pillar remained silent until the quartet arrived at a clearing, an old park. They walked a ways into the park before he stopped, pointing at a large tree before speaking.
"Kore wa okonau koto ga arimasu. Matsu." <This might do....wait here.>
Levi set his dufflebag down, opened and pulled a thick rope from it, then threw it over a large branch, following it to secure it. He hopped down and climbed a ways up before tying the free end of the rope around his ankles, binding them together. He then let himself dangle, his head about three feet from the grass. He removed his shirt revealing his strong, sleek figure and did a few sit-ups before looking at his men with a smile.
"Sate, anata ga manande kita mono o mite mimashou. Toraiado no keisei ga hajimaru!"<okay, let's see what you've learned. Triad formation, begin!>
The three men attacked in tandum, one throwing a roundhouse towards Levi's ribs which he countered by swinging away from the kick and catching it under his arm, placing his forearm against the side of the man's knee, armbarring the leg essentially, forcing the man to roll away to avoid dislocation. A moment afterwards the other two began to throw a series of varied strikes, chops, hammer blows, palms, knife hands, and punches all at Levi from both sides. Levi swung backwards to give himself more time to react and keep the attacks in front of him as he began to block and deflect them as his hands became a flurry of motion. Levi eventually slipped by a punch with a tilt of his head throwing a counter punch at the attacker's chest, sending him several feet away, landing on his back. The last oppenent would fall to an armbar after their Levi caught his wrist, dispatching him the same way he had the first opponent. Levi folded his arms as he waited for the men to get up, then spoke calmly as their instructor.
"Sore wa yoi shuhô de kôgeki suru no ni jûbunde wa arimasen. ... Anata ga yomi anata no kôgeki o kon'nan ni suru hitsuyô ga arimasu. Yoi tekunikku wa bâkâ no hito no nan'ninka no tame ni jûbunde wa arimasen, sore wa tashika ni watashi ya doragonzu no tame ni jûbunde wa arimasen." <It's not enough to attack with good technique....you must make your attacks difficult to read. Good technique won't be enough for some of Barker's men and it certainly isn't enough for me or the Dragons.>
Levi flexed his arms hold them half out, and let out a kiai as every muscle on his torso seemed to flex, his skin taking on a slight pinkish hue as his bodyguards reassumed the triad formation.
"Hajime!"<Begin!>
Levi's men all took hosre stances and began throwing volleys of punches at him, but he did not move. He fought to maintain a calm demeanor as their blows sank in, grunts escaping his mouth as they pummeled their master. After a minute they stopped as Levi relaxed, lightly winded, a smile on his face.
"Yoku yatta..." <Well done...>
Levi sat up, and untied himself, hopping down, marks where his student's fists had landed convering his torso. He stretched a bit and walked to his bag, taking a sip of water. The purpose of this training was to push him past his limits. The purpose? To protect himself, the dragons, one of them in particular coming to the front of his mind as he caught his breath.
