Dragon Rising (All Dragon Apprentices and Jackson)

After rolling back onto her feet, Aryn literally had no time before Levi was back on the attack. She only started shifting to the side to evade when his fist caught her face and sent her reeling.

Well, she'd seen that coming - kinda - and tumbled backwards, rolling over her shoulder to a knee, a partial crouch. Damn. Seemed pretty much everyone was stronger, faster, than she was. Aryn really wasn't terribly sure she liked to be outclassed.

...nope.

Definitely not.

Her eyes narrowed, and she felt the heat on her face as the air shimmered in front of her, with the occasional black flame flickering. She compressed the gathering pressure into a ball, getting up and strafing to the side, the heat dragged with. when she was certain she had enough for a decent 'punch', she unleashed it, straight at Levi's chest.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie moved out of Jackson's shadow, crouching behind and reaching around to very lightly untie his shoes and retie them...together, keeping an eye on Rai as she did so.

If that worked, she would disappear back into his shadow.

...tricksy little Hobbits, she was.

[Jackson]

Jackson notices his shoelaces are tied together, and uses that to his advantage, he drops to his stomach, and spins his legs around to get on his back, then pushes off with his hands to kick Rai in the face. Because.

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi watched as Aryn Qi rose, he watched intently, readying his own as she formed her ball of fire, his body luminating softly.

Good time to test this move out I suppose...

Levi's body glowed as a translucent barrier of fire appeared an inch away from his body. He squinted his eyes as the fireball collided with his force field, which shook, but did not buckle as the fireball disappated. Levi dropped his field as he let out a sigh of relief, grateful he had succeeded. As the smoke cleared, he noticed his target had used the diversion as a scapegoat. He smiled, admiring her cleverness again, he sought to aquire a new target, his eyes falling on Jackson.

Can't let you sit there and do nothing now can I?

Levi ran towards Jackson, hoping to take advantage of the dragonling's position, as he came within jumping distance, he leaped through the air, turning forward once, bringing an axe kick down towards Jackson stomach. This would connect after Jackson's own attack if successful.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would harden the blood in his hand as he raised his hand to palm strike Jackson's foot to stop it, using Levi's hammer kick towards Jackson as a distraction he would back up to get some room eyeing the shadows to see if Kiyr would try to sneak into his, but he was also careful to be aware of what was around him in case Aryn should try something.

[Jackson]

Jackson used the momentum from the palm strike to roll away pushing himself off the ground, and narrowly avoiding Levi's kick. He didn't feel like getting hurt right now. He did a couple of quick rolls to get away from the main melee, and worked on getting his shoes off.

After he removed them, he would spin one around, sling-style, before throwing it at Levi with the intent of wrapping it around his legs, bolo-style.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Rai wouldn't have to worry about Kyrie - not that the shadows would shift if she did swap to his - as she waited for Levi to commit to his attack in the air before bursting out of Jackson's shadow. She moved for Levi's lowered leg; one arm slipping behind his knee, the other braced against the front of his ankle, intending on using his momentum and the training weights to have him land awkwardly at the very least.

Whether he still landed on Jackson was up in the air, so to speak.

If she managed to redirect him, she would release his leg, pivot her body to follow, and hopefully dive for - and into - the nearest shadow.

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi's eyes widened as Kyrie appeared out of her shadow, he had been careless, but he had options left. Narrowly missing Jackson was unfortunate, but his attention turned to Kyrie who was approaching his lowered leg.

Damn!...

Levi decided to do his best to mitigate the damage to the leg as he made sure his kicking leg crashed into the ground with his heel and the other landing on his knee, pain shooting through his legs, but nothing that he would need to worry about. He rolled backwards after landing, watching Kyrie fade back into the Shadows and readying his defense and waiting for an opening.

"Hmm."

Well, with Levi going on the attack for the others, Aryn figured she should get someone else's attention.

The lucky winner?

Jackson.

Narrowing her eyes in concentration, the pyrokinetic gauged the distance and willed a ball of black flames into being, darting it forwards to drive him back.

[Jackson]

Jackson wondered briefly why his attack hadn't landed, but figured it wasn't important. He had another problem to deal with. He rolled under the fire, closed the distance to Aryn.

He grabbed her close, kissed her on the lips then pushed her away with a Sparta Kick!

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Using the breath during the fight he stood back and started to undo his shirt leaving it hanging around his waist so that his upper body was bare.

Guess now's as good a time as any to try out my new trick...

He shifted his stance so that his feet were shoulder width apart and he brought in his shoulders while bending over slightly opening up his back and then he manipulated his blood to come out of both sides of his back just behind the shoulder blades making blood wings come out of his back. His ultimate defense and ultimate offense the wings were large enough to protect any part of his body he willed them too and could be manipulated in any way he saw fit, like a weapon. He needed this now if for no other reason than for the fact that he couldn't move fast with his legs held to the ground maybe this would give him an edge until he could move again.

A smile cracked across Levi's face as Rai began to shape what he assumed was blood into formidable wing-ling appendages from his back. He dug his feet into the ground and kicked off, bolting for the blood bender.

Now let's test these wings...

As he approached, he swiftly juked to the left, leaning his body right and torquing his body as he sent a vicious uppercut towards Rai's chin, attempting to use misdirection to make his attack harder to read.

[Aryn Valcoph]

The flames dissipated as Jackson rolled beneath them. Not a bad idea at all! But considering they were in a fight and Aryn had been flipped once already...when Jackson came in with his kiss...

...Aryn bit down on his bottom lip, hard, intent on stalling the Sparta kick. Would he still do it?

[Kyrie Blaze]

With Levi's attention drawn to her competition, Kyrie rematerialized from the shadow she had managed to slip into. She stood quietly a moment, observing the various engagements, then quickly and quietly sprinted for Aryn and Jackson, leaping to fly and plant both feet against her back, hoping to knock their heads together and maybe have both of them reeling and out.

[Jackson]

Jackson did not go through with his Sparta kick, however, he did toss a hard right hook toward Aryn's temple with the intent of dislodging himself from her.

With Kiyr approaching unnoticed this move would hopefully take care of both his problems.
