[Levi Kayamei]

Levi walked with Kyrie back to his duffle bag, picking up his weights on the way. As he packed his bag, he spoke softly.

"You seem to have quite the grasp on your Qi...tell me, do you have the ability to create shadows?"

He stood up, slinging his bag over his shoulder.

"...because if you could, you could feasibly stretch the shadows of others to facilitate travel"

"Small ones, away from very bright light. It is something I need to work on. It seems a little unreliable right now." She replied in return, her own voice rather quiet.

In that it actually took up a large amount of energy to do. Easier on overcast days, and easiest at night. But then, night was essentially shadow. Kiyr remained standing, letting Levi pack his bag back up, simply because there wasn't much to pack, and she didn't want to get in the way, or touch if she wasn't permitted.

Not that Levi seemed to be inclined to be ill-tempered.

"And the physical combat..?"

It was odd to ask for an analysis. She didn't really want Levi to be able to see too clearly. For the most part. The fact that deep down she did induced a sense of confusion. To be understood. And so, at the same time, she wanted to hear his analysis to see just how clearly he did see.

Rai looked at Aryn puzzled for a moment before speaking.

"You mean you can use sex as a form of training? I don't understand, I think you are mistaken in that..."

Though what did he know bout sex, a rough encounter that left him heart broken. He paused for a moment before speaking again knocking away the bad thoughts.

"Everything else though sounds like borderline torture... you must be an increadibly strong willed person to deal with that kind of stuff daily."

Levi's gaze turned to the sky as he thought, walking towards the exit with Kyrie. She had spent most of her time in the shadows, but Levi was definitely watching when she did pop out to do her dirty work. He looked at her as he held the fence door open.

"You are exceptionally good at being patient and waiting for your moment to strike and when you do strike, it is precise and intelligent. I would be curious to see how you fight outside of your shadows, mostly because if a situation arises where it is most advantageous to not use your shadows....or you can't....it shouldn't matter."

Levi paused for a moment, taking a swig from his water bottle which he retrieved from his bag.

"Your last maneuver on Rai was courageous, but given our limited understanding of his ability, there may have been a better option....but I understand why you did it."

Kiyr paused just a moment, and then spoke as Levi took a drink from his bottle of water, her voice quiet, and easily rolling over the pronunciation. It wasn't Dragon, as unfortunately she didn't know that yet.

"Türelam agba kontsalamaval― Tuhanos löylyak türelamak saγe diutalet."

Levi, while not being able to see it in writing, may have seen something similar-sounding on the white back of an item he found Kiyr holding a while back, had he been able to see the writing at that time. It was not the same phrase. That one was too close to old hurts to share, just yet.

She allowed herself a small smile for a moment as she looked down to the ground. It was surprising how much that phrase had become part of her, and how much two other key phrases had, too. She listened as he made his trailing comments.

"...indeed."

She had figured that if he had no way to escape, that he would fall. And he did...but she had almost lost her life in a training exercise.

"And there was. I just had not counted on the fact he would attempt driving his blood up through my arms...it can be easy to forget not everyone has knowledge of where major veins and arteries are, let alone blood types."

Kiyr felt rather unintelligent because of that assumption, of thinking Raikotsu would have enough sense to either know or not do it if he didn't, but it was supposed to be a training spar, not a fight to the death just to 'win'. She could have simply let go after twisting, or she could have simply swept him forwards off his feet with one leg. There were other possibilities, too. Kicking the backs of his knees out. The list could go on. She still had plenty of progress to make. She always would, and she was fine with that. She never intended to stop growing as a person, a fighter, and everything in between.

Levi kept his gaze forward as they walked back to dragon territory, momentarily looking back through the fence to make sure everyone had recovered.

"Well if you're up for it sometime....I'd be happy to train with you. Kajukenbo has various joint locks and holds you might find useful and given your combat style, submission seems like a good option."

Levi chuckled before continuing.

"and it's pretty obvious that my qi needs some work, so I wouldn't mind having someone to practice with."

Kiyr smiled. He hadn't asked, but considering he had given her a candy tear - partially to return the favour, but mostly to save her life - she could impart the meaning.

But after.

"Kajukenbo..? It sounds interesting; I would be open and willing to learn from you." she nodded. "What better way to learn than with a potential counter to your own power?"

The small woman, however, figured that he was her counter. Unless she could block out the sun or catch him at night...

Kiyr held her silence for a moment, making her final decision, before she spoke.

"The phrase. 'Patience is a warrior's greatest weapon― A thousand patient breaths bring victory.' ...it holds a slightly different - very literal - meaning to me, now that I am part of the Dragons..."

Before it hadn't been quite so much her as a warrior, aside from the fact she was fitting to survive, to help them survive, yet now...it was.

Aryn chuckled.

"Oh man. I bet Di did all the work with you, kid." She shook her head and slid her hands through her hair, gingerly shaking the strands back over her shoulders. Yep. Her head still hurt. She used the brief pause as a moment of consideration before continuing. "That had been rather cruel for both of you."

She smirked.

"I may have offered another girl that doesn't have the issues with the Dragons that Diana does, but you'd have to pay."

To the rest she simply paused, then shrugged.

"I may not always look it, but I can take a beating."

Maybe she was exaggerating a little on the daily bit.

...then again, maybe not. It all depended how well Little Rai knew his Uncle Leon.

Levi msiled as Kyrie spoke. A philosopher too? Sometimes they complimented each other too well. He kept his gaze forwards as the continued to walk, the small smile he seemed to only have when she was around plastered on his face.

"Exactly, our powers oppose one another, I can't think of a better way to master our qi than test each other."

Levi paused before responding to her second statement.

"Patience is a core principle of my fightning style and I'd like to think I live my life by it too in some regards. It is certainly a virtue more people could learn to appreciate."

Rai blushed deeply when she mentioned getting him another girl but quickly tried to subdue it hoping that she wouldn't notice.

"I, uh, no no thank you."

He shifted uncomfortably, and changed the subject.

"Well its good you can take a beating you seem like a good person. Don't let my uncle kill you..."

Kiyr glanced over, and then away. Thinking alike and being alike had its advantages. It was a bit disconcerting, though, because if they were uncannily alike in several areas, chances were likely Levi knew more about her than she wanted to let on.

She waited until he was completely done, having only offered a nod at his former mention of their powers versus one another.

"A way of life," A very brief pause, nearly non-existent, but Levi could probably catch it. "And survival for me...but I agree: more people should learn to utilize and appreciate it."

She didn't really want to elaborate more, and just trailed off, instead. She was, however, a very patient person, especially when she put her mind and will to the task. Instead of giving in to the instinct to wrap her arms around herself to ward everything and everyone off, she crossed them behind her back and lightly grasped her elbows.

Ohhhh nope. Aryn noticed. And grinned.

"You sure~? I could make it reeeeeaaaaally easy for you."

As in, say the word and she's on it.

The brunette shrugged, after.

"One survivor of ten apprentices are odds I like...to grind in the dirt when I win. But, well, if I die, then I'm hoping it'll be particularly spectacular. And I promise I'll make it hard for him."

She meant challenge-wise, but there was also an innuendo and more to it than that. Aryn grinned again.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai shook his head again.

"No, no I'm sure. I, uh... thanks but no."

He shuffled again.

"Those are some pretty impressive odds that you and Levi face... Good make it as difficult as you can, maybe might even earn yourself another day if it impresses him enough."

[Aryn Valcoph]

"Well, regardless, I plan on livin' and enjoying my life. We only have one of 'em, so I'd suggest you do the same."

Aryn nodded as she dropped the hint, again. At this point it was all about planting suggestions that would stick with Rai's rather impressionable mind.

Unless Rai had something else to talk about, however, Aryn veered off to head back to her own place.

Rai nodded to her advice and kept moving on to go see his uncle, he felt that she was collected enough to make it back to where she was staying unhindered.

"Catch you later."

Rai said throwing a quick toss of his hand as a wave and continued onward.
