"Can't imagine how much more of a break we can have." Aryn quirked an eyebrow with her sarcastic remark, but followed at her own pace, more than happy to leave the corpse outside her doorstep. She glanced at Natalia - who was partially wet, but mopping the water on the floor up.

They nodded to one another, but Aryn didn't stop.

"Anything in particular in mind..?"

Leon would stop and turn to look at her through the visor of his helmet.

"You."

And he'd lead the way to rest, relaxation, and an over abundance of happy thoughts.

...what would happen if Aryn said she wasn't interested..?

But, no, not this time. It sounded like something she needed. Or maybe they both needed, if earlier was anything to go by. She let a smile curve her lips upwards...and flipped the door shut with her foot.

[...cracking the camera lens...]

We rejoin our heroes some hours later. Leon is sitting up with a glass of jack and coke with three cubes of ice. Only wearing his normal blue jeans.

"Water is one of the few things that can defeat me. I dont have control over my Qi. It's constantly being generated and obsorbed from external sources and if I dont have a constant outlet for it, it starts to play tricks in my brain."

[Aryn Valcoph]

Aryn lay upon her side, trailing her finger over the edge of her glass. Ice and black spiced rum...tangled up in the blankets. She shifted to lean her cheek on her other hand and looked up.

"Hm." A thoughtful pause. "So you overload. How much water does it take to...short you out, I guess would be the best description? Ever been splashed while in such a state?"

[Mr. Kaar]

"I'd say about half a gallon of water would be plenty to short me out. I've been completely submerged while in that state and knocked out from the insuing explosion of Qi."

Leon answered, he didn't have a reason to lie, but he didn't share this information freely, or with just anyone.

"I've learned my Qi works off my more... Violant emotions. Though as it effects me it also inhances those emotions until I'm nothing but a raging tyrant."

He said remembering the words Ark had said when referring to him in that state.

'...note to self, carry a squirt bottle for the lulz.'

Just because a squirt bottle wouldn't cause an extreme amount of pain, or be dangerous.

She shimmied a little on the bed, taking a sip of her drink and then laying her free hand on his knee, her chin overtop her hand.

"I s'ppose we're alike, in regards to emotions fueling the Qi." But more than that, obviously not. "And so I guess this means I get the honours of splashing you if you start sparking, hm?"

Catching on, kinda. Though David and Mathew probably knew.

...probably.

There was no reason they shouldn't, at least.

If only Aryn knew how little Mathew and David actually knew of Leon. Or anyone for that matter.

"Pretty much. Giving you advanced warning as well. It's been a while since it's gotten that far, but its one of my last resorts when it comes to combat."

[Aryn Valcoph]

If only, if only.

"How long does it take you to get to that sort of state, like this?" She wriggled a finger at his suitless state. "And how long, in combat, in general, if you don't have something siphoning your power?"

[Mr. Kaar]

"I've been training it, I have about a day and a half. In combat though, about ten minutes, thirty if I dont use my Qi."

[Aryn Valcoph]

"...oh, so I should probably follow you around with a bucket of water, then..? Wait, wait, waaaiiiit a minute. Leon." Green eyes sharpened from the bedroom eyes look they'd had before. "Who else knows about this, and why am I being told? Do you expect me to put you down and out if it comes to it?"

Suspicion.

[Mr. Kaar]

"Amtrum knows water effects me, I dont know how much more than that he knows."

He'd look back at her taking a sip from his drink.

"No, that has been taken care of. Your being told because I think you should know."

[Aryn Valcoph]

"Hn. Who's taking care of it?" Just to know. The followup question meant more. "Any other reasons? I mean, unless you'll tell Levi, too."

Not that it wouldn't be a bad thing, but Leon obviously hadn't made it a point to tell people.

"Tsubame Hirotaki."

Leon would nod, then look to his drink for another sip.

"Because if this is gonna work you need to know."

[Aryn Valcoph]

This..? Oh. He meant this, huh?

"I see." She wasn't extremely pleased, but in knowing, she could deal with it if - or perhaps when - it came to pass. She was probably less enthused that this Tsubame was doing it, but...could she? Right now, at this point, yes. In the future? Who knew.

Aryn took a sip of her own drink and gently bumped the rim of her glass against her bottom lip.

"Interesting."

To say the very least.
