As the light of the sun rising started to to flood the area, a sad smile came across his face as Tobias was able to complete his painting before the beginning of the day of the heartbreak he had suffered. Standing back to admire his handiwork, Tobias nodded and dropped his paint brush as the tears rolled down the side of his face. It had been painstakingly done by hand and Tobias wouldn't let anything stop him from finishing his gift to his late wife, Autumn. Turning off the flood lights that had provided the necessary light to continue through the night with the painting and collapsed to the ground. Working on it was worth the lack of sleep and the pain in his hands from the task he forced upon himself. Paint splatters and mixtures covered his arms and parts of face from the painting. He had stripped off his good shirt and vest along with his hat to work on it properly. His hair he had left tied back to not let it interfere with his work.
The pain in his chest as he gazed at her smiling back at him continued to grow as the tears rolled down his face and he reached out as if to touch her through the painting. As his emotions overtook him, Tobias let out a wail of pain and sorrow as he sobbed on the ground. Today was the the anniversary of the day he lost her. The day he had lost Autumn to the bastard that had claimed he was the father of Tobias. The painting on the easal looked just like he wanted to remember he as. Full of joy and life. As the sunlight ran over him as he sat outside next to the painting of her, Tobias lost himself in his grief.
OOC: I want to explore this a bit more from the last monthly quest and I don't mind leading my character into a vulnerable position to do so. This is open for people to join. I will be stepping up my writing from here on out starting with this post. Btw if your character is from 552, the Autumn I speak of is from there.

Kiyoshi had watched off in the distance for sometime. It was rare in these days for someone to stand in the open for a night, illuminated by light without being subject to an attack. They had to have no fear of attack, either due to connections to enemies or just nothing to lose. The only way to figure out which was to observe.
As dawn broke and the figure collapsed, Kiyoshi came forward to gaze upon the painting there. The woman was somewhat familiar but he couldn't place it with a name or location, thus he stood in silence to let the man grieve for his lost for a time. Quiet and respectful.

The light of the sun blinded Tobias as his sight never left the painting. As he mind wandered back to the events that led up to her demise, he spoke out loud more to the painting and himself that anyone else. Tobias was completely unaware of anything around him as the grief still held his soul mind locked in a loop of what happened. The sound coming out of his throat was more like a choked whisper than anything.
" Autumn."
Tobias looked at his hands that were covered in paint and all he could see was Autumn dying in his arms. All the power he had gathered had meant nothing as the beautiful counterpart to him bled out and passed away as he held her.
OoC: Sorry. This is done off a phone. Lol. Well, back to work.

(OoC: No sweat, man. Same here.)
Kiyoshi just continued to watch as the rose set the sky ablaze in it's rise. Even as the name was spoken, a familiar one, he simply stood in silent revelry. The face and name matched to the now so-distant New York and 552, a girl he'd only met in passing once or twice but she was someone of great importance to this man and deserved respect. Had he known her better, he might have been able to comment on the painting and what may have been her opinion towards it or the display of affectioning and mourning now shown. Alas, he didn't know her well and his silence would have to speak for him.
It did make him think of the people in his own life that had been close to him, now gone from it. He wondered how they were fairing, if they were well and alive. There was no way to be sure thus, for now, his silent wishes for the best would have to suffice as comfort. Along with the hope that when he, himself, passed from this world that none were waiting on the other side to greet him.

Tobias slowly came out of his memories as his senses registered someone near him and though tears still came down his face and his voice came out of a throat that was tight with grief, Tobias spoke out loud with his voice raw as well as filled with pain.
"Please leave. I have no wish to have company nor to harm you."
Truth be told, Tobias didn't have the energy or will at the moment to enforce any physical activity. He was spent and emotionally wrecked. Should he be attacked, Tobias could or better to say wouldn't even defend himself. What was the use gathering power if you couldn't even save those you care for? What use was there in going on when the light in your life vanished? Sheer hopelessness and helplessness clung to his soul as he mourned the loss of his heart.
OoC: Sorry about that wait. I look forward to your response. Lol

When the man finally acknowledged his presence, Kiyoshi took heed of his words and respected them. The man wished to be alone with his pain and he would extend him that privilege. He bowed his head before speaking in a low respectful tone.
"Very well then. I shall leave you alone."
The Crows leader would turn on his heels and start to head away.
"For what its worth, I'm sorry for your loss."
Unless otherwise interrupted, Kiyoshi would depart on that note to leave the man with his thoughts as requested.

"Thank you."
After a moment, Tobias sighed and gathered his strength. Talking opening and honestly about her death would rip him apart and he didn't have the strength to do it without help. If this person was a kindred spirit, Tobias might be able to talk and bleed some of the poison out.
"I am sorry for my harshness and rude behavior. I.......no nevermind... I am sorry....."
Tobias closed the walls around his heart and kept staring at the painting. The pain was too much for him to even start talking. He couldn't bear the emptiness in his life now that she was gone and the pain knowing that they would never see one another again. Death was final and permanent.

The bright lights in the dark, still nighttime had drawn Rina's attention and curiosity.
Who was brave enough to have those lights on?
By the time she had reached the area, the sun was just climbing into the sky, splashing red and pink through blue like artwork. Speaking of artwork...the man who had been here the night had made a painting. The woman was not recognizable to her, but Rina thought that she was beautiful. Dark eyes lit up her expression, her gaze soft and drawing the onlookers in. The man had done well on it.
It was obvious that the woman was someone that he'd loved. Also, Kyoshi was there. This surprised Rina. She hadn't seen him since the docks. Approaching quietly, she came to halt beside the leader of the Crows. Looking at the saddened man, she said in a voice just barely above a whisper, "She must have been a wonderful person." that was all she could think of to say. She hadn't known the woman, nor did she know this man, but for some reason, even though she'd had no intention of speaking at first, the words just came out.
Glancing at Kyioshi, she said no more; merely gazed at the painting of the lovely woman in a sort of daze.
This wasn't the first time she'd seen a loss of someone dear to another, but this only reminded her of the fact that loss was inevitable. There would always be hurt and pain in the word.
So many times, it was hard to move on.
OOC-Hope ya'll don't mind me jumping on in
