David stood in the middle of the Dragon courtyard, the area spilling over with men as he stood there, waiting. They formed a circle around him, watching and waiting for Kazuya. Once the man arrived, he would step forward. He was shirtless, shoeless, and all items were stored off to the side.
"You have been put forward as a Dragon candidate. We are elite fighters. The highest caliber. We do not take these elections lightly, and if you cant prove you are worth the space your body will consume, we will strip you of your ambition and send you to the wild. The test is not easy, and should not be taken lightly. Do you wish to continue?"
Once Kazuya agreed, he would continue.
"Let me make clear that, should you perservere, you will not be a named one. You will be a member of the Dragon Core, an honor that should be respected. The individual testing your metal will be myself, and you will prove your worth to me, to the group, and to yourself."
He would let out a little breath and, lazily, wave Kazuya forward. They wouldn't stop until someone stopped them, and Kazuya was meant to bleed onto the earth, Dragon earth, to prove his desire to be part of them.
OOC: No items allowed. This fight does not end until it is ended by one of the dragons around us (Either i will stop it, or another will join.) You MUST bleed before it is over.

The crowd parting with his arrival, Kazuya would step into the inner circle, the crowd closing behind him, as David stepped forward. He had come to Dragon Territory shirtless, shoeless, and all his items were inside his duffel bag, which he stored off to the side as well.
"Yes, I will continue."
With that said, he would not back down. Nothing would stop him from becoming a part of the Dragon Core, and if he could, he would become a named one. Seeing David wave him forward lazily, this was just like their last fight. Taking off, staying light on his feet, as soon as he was close enough, just like last time, Kazuya would pull his left arm back, but instead of a simple jab, he'd go for a underhand left hook, aiming for David's ribs.

Rai watched intently as he was about to receive a new brother, should he pass. He would make notes during the fight and be ready to welcome the newest member when he had finished.

David reached out with both arms as Kazuya threw the punch, aiming to hook his hands behind Kazuyas neck. He would grunt as Kazuyas fist made contact, but aiming to move through the blow as he would begin throwing up knees for Kazuyas ribcage, muai thai style.
He would jerk Hikari around as he did so, the idea being to destabilize his center of gravity, continuing to throw up knees for the mans abdomen.

As his underhand left hook connected with David, he was unable to stop David's arms in time, and would have to allow the arms to wrap around his neck, but the knees, he could do something about. His right had soaring out from underneath his left fist, he would attempt to catch David's knee before he could begin his knees to the ribs combo, and with his free left hand, would attempt to grab David's throat, to try and choke him while shoving him back, and stop David from jerking him around and throw him off balance too.

A chokehold?
Old news.
David couldnt count on fingers and toes how many fights a man tried to choke him in. And using both arms to incapacitate him instead of doing something about his hands was unwise. Keeping his left hand behind Kazuyas neck, David used his right to move and throw punch after punch to Kazuyas face.
If it worked, but Kazuya didnt stop choking him, he would simply fall backward and roll, the hold Kazuya had on his leg being nulled as David threw his weight and legs into flipping the young Hikari over him.

Kauzya would take the first punch to his face, though he shifted his face to the side, timing with the turn with the punch, and taking the blow solidly to his cheek, a trickle of blood running down his cheek from the cut that formed. Letting go of David's throat immediately, Kazuya would try to counter the next punch with his own left fist, while simultaneously trying to shove David's knee back and counter each punch thrown with punches of his own.
Oh it worked all right, but whether Kazuya's counter punches succeeded was up in the air. Either way, Kazuya would take off lightly after David once more, and throw what looked like another underhand hook, but the arm would curve upwards, Kazuya going in for a tight uppercut, his arm soaring just high enough to connect with David's chin hopefully, but without the giant opening an uppercut was known for.

"Enough."
Rai said holding his fist up.
"Are you willing to fight, to bleed? To live as a warrior for the rest of your life?"
If he said yes he would continue.
"Then I will add my strength to yours and honor you as a brother."
After that he would slam his fist hard in to Kazuya's cheek before putting that same fist over his heart, giving him a small bow. The rest of the Dragons would step forward, putting their fists to their hearts and bowing as well.
There was no cheer, there was no congratulations past that. Everyone just started to disperse.
"Welcome Brother."
Rai would walk away as well.

David would, as Kaz let go of his throat, simply step back as Kazuya threw the uppercut. He would have leapt for a sweep had Rai not said something. Instead, he just wiped the blood off his knuckle and clapped a fist to his heart. Even though the fight was over quick, it was nobodys place to judge. He would hold out a hand to the new Dragon for a shake.
"Welcome."

His uppercut hitting nothing but air, David simply having stepped back, he would halt in mid-step as one the men in the circle held his fist up, halting the fight. Straightening up, Kazuya would let his arms fall beside him as he faced the man.
"Yes."
Taking the blow to his cheek unflinchingly, unwaveringly, his head snapping to the side, he would nod his head slightly as he was accepted. Even though the fight with David was short, it was not for nothing. Years ago, he had barely managed to go toe-to-toe with David, but now, he had held his own against one of those he saw as inspiration.
The crowd dispersing soon after, seeing David extend his hand for a handshake, Kazuya would take David's hand and shake his hand firmly.
"Thanks. We'll have to fight again soon."
