[OPEN!]
”…. NO! NOT ASA POSTULATE, NOR IS IT SSS POSTULATE! ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE? IT IS ASS POSTULATE DAMNIT! HOW MUCH TIMES DO YOU KIDS GET THIS WRONG?!!”
The loud remarks of the teacher before her was basically being spat on right above her—her annoying shrill voice completely drowning her in a mosh pit of hell. Why did she have to get a front seat again? Couldn’t she just have been there a little bit more earlier to get a good decent seat hidden away in the back like the rest of the students? But no, she was placed in the target area of anger and frustration. Although the seats in the front were a bit more stable, and non drooled on like the rest… This class, Geometry was a bit of an easy one for her, just that it was probably one of her most severely hated ones. She had nothing against ass postulate, but seriously, who would want to sit in a room all day surrounded by numbers and stupid people? She definitely did not.
”Blah blah blah blah blah…” At that moment on, all Chris could comprehend out of the woman’s speech was a jumble of mixed up words put in bad phrasing. She stared out in space for a while, blinking a few times as she urged for her mind to stay awake for at least a few seconds. I mean, listening to useless junk coming from one ear and out was completely important to ones lifestyle.
Maybe for just a little bit… no one would exactly notice… As if no one would notice the girl in the front with the hand made tie-die T-shirt un-noticeable. She would then secretly placed her arms crossed over her desk, and slowly rested her head on the palm of her hand. This style was accustomed to her and the majority of those in this world—the red square on the forehead, and the dizziness coming out from the strange hypnotic trance of the small segment of ‘sleep’. Juuuuust for a little while… As soon as she let her eyes slowly blink to laziness, she would then automatically fall into ‘black out mode’, completely blocking out any sound from students whispering, and the obnoxious voice of the teacher.

This class is so lame. All the yelling and numbers. Its totally killing my vibe.
Sitting in the back of the class the ever so lazy Astral Phoenix, hidden away in the crowd of students who had obviously ignored their loud teachers long enough to make it seem like they were paying attention. His chair was only on half its legs and leaned back against the way. His hands remained behind his ever so spikey head and earphones over his ear. His feet were kicked up upon the desk, with one laping the other.
Geometry was his worst subjest. Though he was able to comprehend and do it exquisantly he simply prefered other things outside of numbers. English, Gym, Pottery. He'd rather right now be in any of those classes. Unfortunately his fate demanded him be here, in this very room, with these uninteresting people and this very moody teacher.
The chill kid tried to listen to his music. The sound of electric gutairs and soothing echos could be heard from his headphones to the keenest of ears. He tried to listen to it but every now and then the teacher's yelling or some boys rough housing would interupt his calm posture.
His sunglasses hid his eyes. His head was tilted back and he simply remained motionless. Ever since the start of class he had remained in that same position. Never moving. Under his feet was an opened geometry book. He had hoped that it would make the teacher believe he was actually trying, though it wouldn't make much sense seeing as how the book was under his feet and not his nose.
I need to get out of here. This is killing me on the inside.
Astral could feel everyone around him. So many different emotions. Each one however fueled by some sort of resentment towards the school or other students. It was funny. The kid could sense almost everyone around him. However not even one person would acknowledge his prescence. He enjoyed remaining oblivious to people.
The bell finally rang. The class was done. Astral's eyes appeared from behind his glasses and he pushed himself back onto his desk, swiftly moving his feet from them. He grabbed up his loose book and papers and slid them into his backpack. He rose from his seat though he didn't move. He simply stood there. He waited for all the other students to leave the class. Then he left. "You might wanna try staying awake Astral. You might actually learn something."
Astral simply looked and smiled. He walked out of class.
The bell had rung and students were doing whatever the hell they wanted. As for the young silent boy he simply remained by the door of the class. He waited for the halls to clear before moving again. He didn't mind being late to his classes. He already knew the drill and proccedure. He didn't mind however. He would just drift off into his mind and zone out until the end of his next class. Aside from the usual fights he almost gets into he simply does that through out his regular day.

She dreamt of a nice soothing darkness revolving around her for the most part—the sleep lacking its good vibe like it used to, but overall, she would rate it out of her numerous tries of rest, a 7.5. ”RINNNG.” The loud sound of the bell suddenly awakened her, jumping in a sudden movement on her chair. Along the rows would people rush and crowd out of the door like pigs. The predicted blurriness took over her for a few seconds, and she tried to remove it by resting her forehead lazily on the palm of her hand. “Ughh… How fucking fantastic…” This was only fifth period, one more period, and she would be good to go. Although she would say the next one was a lot worst than this horrible fate. I mean, if Numbers were boring, how much for presidential elections and the maximum amount of gasoline in Iraq…
As the students would crowd made a bit of space for her to move, she slowly stood up from the desk, and pulled her old messily written on backpack over her right shoulder, her hair getting caught annoyingly on the strap. Completely ignoring that, [and her geometry book purposely left on her desk] she would then head her way out of the row, toward the somewhat empty door. ”And Christine, I suggest not sleeping in my class next time. You know, if you want to actually be smart. Well, if you know what that word means, anyways.” The teacher would speak to her like a little child with that fake pig-ish smile and falcon like eyes. Chris would roll her eyes at her little comment, adding in a small voice.
“And I suggest not calling me by that name you old hag...”
Turning away she then headed out the door—her geometry book neglected and alone on the top of her written on desk as she mumbled angrily to herself. As she past she would almost completely ignore the boy standing by the opening of the entry, not knowing why the hell someone would want to stay in that gateway of hells mouth.

Astral remained near the door of the classroom, with his headphones blaring and his eyes glared into the abyss of his mind. A black portal, home to many random thoughts, calculations, prediction of future, theory of past, and moderation of present.
He had simply remained near the door, waiting for the halls to clear. Many students were still prancing around like they owned every inch of the hard material. He had felt the prescence of every lurking student within his general area. Almost like a medium searching for ghost. He felt one prescence that was rather unique from the others.
The girl who had exited the class after him. It was surprising. He was usually always the first out of class. What could have been so different about this one. His curiosity was peaked now. As the girl exited he spoke. "Hey, where are you headed to?" He lowered his head so he could see beyond his sunglasses though it wasn't his sunglasses he was trying to see through. What he wanted to see through was the gap in his mind. "Girl like you could get hurt round here, real easy like. Know what I'm sayin?"

She was then paused on her spot as a boy spoke out to her. Completely oblivious to the fact someone would WANT to speak to her, she would blink a few times keeping her back faced toward him. No, it wasn’t likely she was stopped to have a little chat with someone, and it was definitely unlikely for her to be stopped by someone she did not know. She would answer this question, but what was the point of that. Say World Geography? Is that supposed to be a conversation starter? I don’t see any fun in that… It wasn’t that question that stumped her, but his next witty comment was the one that brought her out of this shell.
Slowly turning around to face this boy, she would tilt her head down and simply glare for a moment, not believing what she just heard. At this point onward, one would completely love to hurt a boy who just spoke so aggravatingly, his almost certain voice that made it seem like she would simply give into his ‘calmness’. But her, no. Instead, she took a death breath in, and turned her heels to where she was facing earlier, starting to walk forth without one word. How irritating! What am I, a puppy to him? Do I look like a puppy? No. Do I act like a puppy? No. And yet he expects me to act friendly?! Her eyes narrowed as she grabbed on to the strap of her backpack tightly in somewhat anger.
”Try saying that to a girl who allows strangers to fuck them next time, your lines might work perfectly on them. dim-wit.”
Chris spoke her words viciously, yet almost calmly without a strained face. She was one to fight only with words—I mean, why risk breaking a nose or something?

Astral watched the girl calmly as she had looked to him. He had expected a nice comment back from what he had said. A simple question being asked. He figured she would respond with something reasonable. Unfortunately one of Astral's many predictions were wrong. The girl had responded rather rudely. Astral often found it funny, no, Hilarious when someone responded back with such comments. It almost made his day more enjoyable to laugh at such vigilant ignorance.
His eyes stood open wide, above his dark sunglasses as she commented back. Several students around heard her. Some simply minded their own bussiness. Others started to bad mouth Astral, believing he was trying to pick u a chick in a school like this. One even had urges to start a rumor about him. "Whoa, whoa, whoa now killer. Its only my fifth day here. Aside from teachers and other means of staff you're the only student I have spoken with. Please be a little more gentle with your words. It would fit your nice face perfectly." He made a big grin at the last word spoken.
He wondered if she would yet again flip off on him. Would she even have the time to chew his head off right before class? He knew how people around here like to rant on when someone gets in their face. Of course it only served as entertainment for this interesting young man. He could only wonder what was next. He slid his right hand onto his face slightly and slid his sunglasses up on his face a bit with his index and middle finger.

She then stopped once again… in gratitude? No. In happiness? No. Honestly, she completely HATED what he was saying at the moment. Now he goes for her face? Jeeze, so she was a painting of a puppy now? The would start to feel angered inside, not really a nice feeling especially when it was caused by someone she did not know. “…” She would speak nothing, and then turn around once again at this ‘new’ kid. Hell, she honestly didn’t care if he was new, or five days new didn’t matter. It really did not concern her at all. His rude remarks and all, didn’t he have some sort of modesty where he came from?
Turning around she would glare up at this [rather tall] guy wearing sunglasses. Now, why would he be wearing sunglasses in school, anyways? There wasn’t sun in the damned hallways, and if so, she hoped it would soon devour her and take her away from this idiotic boy before her. Was that supposed to be the new fashion statement now a days? If so, why didn’t anyone inform her? “Who the hell do you think you are?” She would simply put all of her arguments fought in her head into the famous 8 worded sentence. “Do you think I fucking care if you are new? You expect me to give you brownie points for that? You must be extremely stupid if you think so.”
She looked him over as she raised her eyebrow. She was a mellow person—just not when it came to people like him who thought they could prance all around the hallways and act king of everything. No, she could not even tolerate that. After a moment of staring at his shaded eyes she would let out a small “Ugh” noise, and turn around stomping out of the area quickly. That was enough of her blowing up for one day… Amazingly, this had been the greatest conversation she probably said in her life time! Of course that was only pulled out of the what… Five phrases she spoke with thought? Heavily breathing in and out she attempted to cool herself down, feeling almost certain if she stayed there a few moments longer she would have to conflict her fist to his face. [And yes, that was a bad thing.]

Astral looked to the girl awaiting an answer. It was simply brilliant now. Too brilliant. He could tell from her initial silence and facial expression that she was gonna explode. He almost jumped out of his skin in mystery. He wondered what vulger words of hate she had next. Of course it was similar to what he had been hearing from smart assed students and teachers all week. Thank the heavens it was a Friday. The kid might have actually had a thought of resentment after some time.
Finally it hit him like a desert storm. She blew up in his face. It wasn't quite like anything he had expected before. Some kids around here talked big but Astral realized something. The kids with the biggest mouths around here were weak. While the stronger of the group would gladly show off their skill rather than prove to be a hard ass with words. He listened in.
“Who the hell do you think you are?” Astral thought about it for a moment. His eyes went towards the cealing of the building which had several stiched up patches of wood on it and several other marks showing where a hole might come it. "Me? Uh...Well I am Astral Phoenix. Heh." The goofy grin appeared on his face once more. She apparently didn't listen to him as she continued with her verbal assault.
He only listened and smiled a bit as she continued on. Between regular intervals he would zone out inbetween her loud mouthing and his music. He really didn't mind her. Not a bit. He found it relaxing. A ability of Astral's was to take negative energy and somehow make it positive. It that was to become words then someone would think the kid had a children's TV show in his head all the time.
Finally she stormed off and Astral eyed her. She walked off quickly. He simply smiled. "I didn't even get your name...." He said under his breath. He did however speak loudly afterward. "Nice to meet you!" He grinned. He looked around as some students started heading for class. He thought about going to the next class then realized he had already recieved his next hour of verbal abuse. "Maybe I'll just chill on the roof." He looked around. Several kids started fighting. The nearby staff of course attempted to break it up. And by that meaning knock the kids motionless.
Perfect.
He thought as he snuck away through the stairwell to the roof.
Atop the roof was a large open space. Amazingly it had been empty. It was rather lovely outside. The sun was attempting to seep through the poluted gas in the air. Astral walked over to the edge and sat down over it. His legs hung from the large five story building.
