Making the team (Any Dragonling/open)

Rai looked to Jackson and smiled slightly.

"Well lets work on peace when we finish the war."

[Kazuya Hikari]

"That's fine with me, let me know when you're done coming up with a plan of attack."

Pushing off the wall, Kazuya would head outside, using the time to make note of his surroundings and to come up with a strategy of his own. It was mid-afternoon, meaning there were shadows decently spread out everywhere, looks like his helmet might get some use in this fight. Though the others knew what his Qi was, and Aryn knew some of his techniques, all of them did not know the other kinds of techniques Kazuya had in his arsenal. Smirking slightly, this was going to be an interesting fight...

[Aryn Valcoph]

"He creates and manipulates fire--in fact, he has been able to control my flames before, so I would be wary. They seem to be similar, and I can kind of do some pressurized blasts...so be careful."

Aryn shrugged.

"Staggering Qi and non-Qi attacks works for me."

[Kyrie Blaze]

A hand would slowly slip from Jackson's shadow, pulling at Jackson's making a small shadow and then using that to bridge his and Levi's, as it wasn't explicitly stated otherwise.

There was no sound, nothing visible other than that...but Kiyr shadow-swapped with no small amount of difficulty, and breathed a slight sigh of relief in the dark. Back where she wanted to...be...

...that was a peculiar thought. One she wasn't certain she wanted to have.

The petite woman shook her head within the shadows and worked on regaining her focus. She chose the fastest fighter to ride with to hopefully have the best chances of getting the jump on Kazuya.

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi nodded at Jackson, hoping his ability would be useful.

"So could you make a smokescreen with it? That might come in useful. I'll let you know when. Well if everyone is good on what we need to do, then let's give it a shot. Let's try to surround him at all times, multiple attack vectors are key."

He spoke to Aryn as they walked out, walking close to Jackson before reaching the doorway and glancing down at Kyrie for a split second signaling her to switch to his shadow just as she did so. His face was certainly stoic as his mind was sharp and ready to do strategic combat, brute force would certainly not win this fight.

"Patience will be key for you, if he can control your flames, let's make sure he never sees it coming when you do let loose. Kyrie, we can split our attacks into any pair of vectors we want, I trust you'll know when to go."

With that he gave everyone a quick look and began walking outside. His eyes on the mysterious Kazuya, his senses keen as he would be monitoring any change in energy level to act as an early warning system.

[Kyrie Blaze]

There was no response, though Kiyr could have said something and projected it outwards, but she understood. It was a little eerie how Levi had looked down at that exact moment...

...she would have to ask him.

[Jackson]

Jackson caught up to Levi,

"I think I could. Also.... if I time it right, I can deflect most ranged attacks. If, I can....I may be able to camouflage us relatively well with some air."

He unsheathed Bat, and tightened his grip. He'd replaced the wraps around the handle with sharkskin. He wasn't going to lose a grip on this now!

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would run up next to Jackson.

"You know what I can do so just let me know where you want me."

[Aryn Valcoph]

"Sounds simple enough."

Only it wasn't and she knew it. But hell, it was going to be a blast to try. She grinned as she strode out with the group.

[Jackson]

"Where do you need me, O Fearless Leader?" Jackson asked Levi, in a deadpan voice.

[Kazuya Hikari]

Upon arrival outside, the team would find Kazuya waiting for them, his back facing them. Hearing footsteps come up from behind him, his eyes would slowly open as he turned his head slightly to look behind him. The bandanna he wore around his neck already pulled up, covering his mouth and nose, his appearance akin to a ninja, his eyepiece would beep and lock onto each of them as their respective information and power levels displayed on-screen once more for him to see, as well as information and a power level belonging to an unidentified bearer.

Interesting...

Pulling his katana free from its sheath on his back, with a smooth flicking motion of his arm, his blade would be held at his side, he would wait until all of them had gotten into position, before his hands and feet were engulfed in flames... though not from his Qi, but from the ability his gloves and foot guards granted him. He would save his other techniques for later. Time to see if their strategy would work...

(OOC: Okay foo's, I'm throwing down a post order! Here's how it'll go once the action begins:

Levi looked at Jackson and Rai, then returned his gaze to Kazuya as he spoke softly, still making sure Kazuya would not hear.

"Jackson you stay close to Rai, your smoke screen and his projectiles will work well together, Rai...you bombard him with projectiles to limit his options and switch between your qi and melee attacks, just watch your line of fire."

He looked to Aryn next.

"You stick with me and back me up, a third attacker isn't a bad idea, just be aware of where Rai and Jackson are so you don't get in their line of fire. Alright...let's go."

Levi walked towards Kazuya and would wait until everyone was in place before attacking. His mind was running scenarios that would be broad in nature until he got a better feel for Kazuya's powers.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai looked at Jackson and gave him a nod, their little training session would come in handy now. Rai reached down and took off his training weights, he was going to need the extra speed.

Rose had walked outside behind the group and leaned against the building amused. She was excited to see what was about to happen.

[Aryn Valcoph]

"Sure."

Her own meat shield! ...well, sorta.

She fanned out so it wasn't immediately obvious that she would be moving with Levi and sticking close as often as possible.

She would have liked to see how this looked from above--with a camera swiveling from Kazuya's position, panning over each of their positions and then a swooped shot from above, and then--! They attacked!

She came from Kazuya's right, and slightly behind, aiming to hook her inside foot against his ankle, pull back in a quick trip with the same arm smacking against his shoulder, and hopefully with her other hand grasping his wrist to follow through and plant him on the ground.

Probably not, but if he was dealing with other attacks at the same time, she'd have slightly better chances.

[Kyrie Blaze]

For the moment, Kiyr patiently waited to keep Kazuya guessing and so she could observe any pattern of attack before popping out so she wasn't in danger.
