Making the team (Any Dragonling/open)

[Jackson]

Jackson unsheathed Bat, an with his free hand, formed a hollow ball filled with smoke. A sort of grenade.

He walked forwards, purposefully, and threw the ball towards the ground, releasing a smokescreen.

Using his Bat, he manipulated the air, to make it thicker, and then spread it about the ground.

After everything was in place, he rushed forwards with the offense, leading the attack with a couple of aimed spheres pointed towards Kazuya's elbows, knees, and head.

[Kazuya Hikari]

As Jackson released his smokescreen, making the air thicker and spreading it about the ground, Kazuya would close his eyes, the flames engulfing his hands and feet dissipating. As the smokescreen would hinder his vision, on the flip side, it would hinder the others vision as well. In a way, it was a double-edged sword of sorts. However, Kazuya was by no means, a sitting duck. He had trained himself to react to strikes without being able to see them, and his senses were somewhat acute.

Hearing the thumping sound of footsteps coming up from behind and in front of him (because you never specified which direction you came from, Matt), with a smooth motion, he would open his eyes and dart to his right, moving much faster than either of his two attackers, leaving them to collide into each other if they didn't stop in time. With his back to the one that attacked him from behind (Aryn), he'd lift his left elbow up and with a quick motion, would aim to sharply slam the back of his elbow into the person's head.

Regardless of if it connected or not, with quick, light steps, he would disappear into the smoke and into hiding, his breathing not affected thanks to the bandanna he wore.

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi tracked Kazuya through the smoke with nothing more than his senses. Kazuya's qi was so strong that it lit him up like a beacon to Levi. He kept his gaze to Kazuya as he spoke.

"Jackson, keep your smokescreen localized on yourself and Rai after my attack, I'll light your target for you."

Lining his body with a field of solid white light that gave off a dim glow, he leaped through the air swiftly to makw sure his attack would land before the others, his clothes held down by the protective field making this attack completely silent. Completing a flip for extra power as he traveled through the air, Levi brought his left foot down on top of Kazuya's head, following it up with an uppercut to his hopefully lowered face. Regardless of whether or not this hit, He would illuminate Kazuya's upper torso and head brightly enough so that Jackson and Rai would be able to see. This would serve to keep Kazuya's sight impaired.....they needed every edge they could get.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai still inside the smoke screen calmed his mind as his masters had taught him and waited then seeing Levi's signal he shot out three blood balls straight towards Kazuya's location. He would run up to Jackson's side and strike a defensive pose between Jackson and Kazuya to give Jackson enough time to throw up another smoke screen.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Pillars of stone would erupt from the ground. He had been tracking the movements by the vibrations in the ground, while under the ground. A pillar at everyone, except for Kiyr who was inside of a shadow and thus did not give off a tremor. It didn't really matter if the pillars hit or missed each person, they would suck back in to the ground after the attack as Mathew rose from the Earth.

"Well, doesn't this look fun."

He kind of liked being out numbered. He grinned.

"Room for one more?"

Not that it mattered, he was here whether they liked it or not.

[Kazuya Hikari]

With the smokescreen still up Kazuya would not be able to see Levi flying towards him, nor be able to tell he had flipped in mid-air. As a foot suddenly appeared out of nowhere, rocketing straight for the top of his head, Kazuya was unable to evade or block in time, and would take the foot to his head, which hurt slightly, but barely caused him to flinch. However, as Levi went in for the uppercut, with the time it took for him to get into position, Kazuya had plenty of time to easily evade the strike, simply by stepping back.

As Levi's light would illuminate Kazuya's head and upper torso though, he would smile slightly, and slamming his hand down on the ground, a flame pillar would erupt from beneath him, completely engulfing him and hopefully temporarily blinding Levi from the intensity, as well as effectively preventing Raikotsu's blasts of blood from hitting him. Stepping out from behind the flame pillar, which hid him from view, his clothes all fire-proof and intact, he would get hit by the pillar of stone that rose out from the ground however, sending him into the air and resulting in him flipping in mid-air and landing on his feet.

"You're not giving us much of a choice."

(OOC: Okay, so it's now Raikotsu's turn, after which the turn order will be as it was before, minus me posting, but here's the NEW thread order, haha.

Rai jumped up and back feeling that familiar rumbling in the ground as one of Mathews Pillars shot from the ground and disappeared. So master has decided to join in on the fun, this will be interesting...

"Welcome Master."

Rai would say getting back into a defensive position just in case another attack from either him or Kazuya was imminent.

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi had felt Mathew underground for a while but he had been so focused on their battle that he was caught completely off guard by the stone pillar that broke through his shield and slammed into his chest, sending him into the air.

"Christ!"

He corrected his descent as he came back down and landed softly, grateful that he had left his shield up as he rubbed his chest. He shook his head as he smiled, looking at Mathew.

"Couldn't resist could you? I guess we can do it this way too."

He pointed at Kazuya with a grin.

"But he's on our team...."

[Kyrie Blaze]

As Levi made his rush for Kazuya, Kiyr, of course, shifted shadows, holding to Kazuya's and preparing for her attack...

...if not for the complication of Mathew joining the fray. And currently, there was no way she was going to make an appearance and give away her only small advantage against her master. Part of her wished she was back in Levi's shadow, but she would have to be content with remaining within the 'enemy'-turned-ally's shadow.

[Aryn Valcoph]

Thwump!

Ack! Aryn kissed the ground after stumbling forwards, the attack just a little minimized as she shifted, but not much. But she wasn't going to take that laying down, nope--!

Instead, when she got up, she was hit with a pillar of stone and knocked down again.

'...something something faster faster...'

Aryn took a brief moment, then pushed up with a grunt.

"Hello, Trollface~" A light tone, indicating anything but seriousness. "Welcome to the party."

[Jackson]

Jackson was confused, but dissipated the smokescreen for a bit.

"Ah, hello, Mathew." Jackson saluted him.

"So us against you, sir?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"That's up to you all. I'm not taking any sides, but if you wish to side with me you are free to."

He said with a nod before turning to Aryn with a wink. Troll face indeed. He took a deep breath and shifted his legs to be shoulder width apart before bending down and quickly slamming his palm against the ground, slabs of rock shooting up to surround Mathew on all sides, like a mini mountain in the battleground.

This would be fun.

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi smiled as Mathew surrounded himself in earth, this was going to be one heck of a brawl, though he doubted it would last very long. I made a large platform out of surrounding light and raised it a few feet in the air, motioning for everyone to hop on. Levi had good reason to believe Mathew could feel where people were based on their contact with the ground, how else would he have known where to send each pillar while he was underground? Once everyone was on board he rose the platform high into the air to avoid a surprise attack. He looked to Kazuya first then to the others. Levi spoke quickly as he knew Mathew would not wait for long.

"I'll keep this short and concise....Kazuya, you're our big gun, we'll do our best to protect ourselves and cover for you to provide openings for you. Strategy hasn't changed much, we just have a bigger gun now. I'm pretty sure Mathew can sense where we are if we touch the ground so be aware. Kazuya will be our big distraction, so hopefully Mathew will be too busy to pick us off as he pleases. I'll place platforms around so if you need to bail for a sec, you can. Any questions or suggestions? I want everyone on the same page."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

"Yeah just one, Kiyr and I have a lot of experience with him, he is smart, really smart. He has a plan for everything, he also knows that Kazuya is the strongest of us and is probably prepared for it. So, Levi, no offense to anyone here but we need to have at least 2 back up plans in reserve just to be safe."

Rai kept his eyes on Mathew. If he was missing anything Kiyr wouldn't miss a beat to inform Levi right now he was just try to keep alert before his master made his next move.

[Aryn Valcoph]

Aryn flashed a grin in response to Mathew. When Levi did his little light trick, she moved up onto the platform.

"Huge troll. Chances may be likely he'll you with us like a cat does a mouse."

Aryn shrugged but smiled.

Getting pummeled again. Awwwwyeah.

She was even pretty sore, now. Those two blows had hurt.
