David Marched in front of them, hands behind his back, watching them, waiting. There were ten of them, all shirtless, shoeless, standing in the rain. None budged at the cold, eyes seemingly unfeeling. He looked to Anna, who stood off to the side, waiting. His voice. She had done well. These were strong, built to be at the frontlines. He took a deep breath, then walked over to stand before them all, shirtless and cold, but also untroubled. Nor was he troubled by the hour of night in which they stood.
"Soldiers! I am David Blaze. Dragon elder and Commander of the Sky Force, the strongest core in the Dragon Military wing. I will be training you. Step forward and give your names."
"Cooper!"
"Michaels!"
"Hopkins!"
"Taylor!"
"Sullivan!"
"Bengs!"
"Faydricks!"
"Schiller!"
"Quantrel!"
"Ferrar!"
David looked each in the eye as they stated their names, before he continued.
"Well. You men have been standing here, no food or water, for two days. Would you like to eat?"
"NO SIR!"
"Would you like to fight?"
"YES SIR!"
"I am the Storm Dragon! Many have died by my hand! I could take you all, and kill you without breaking a sweat! Now, which of you got the nuts to step up and fight me!"
No one blinked, but nobody moved. Until-
"I will, Sir!"
He smirked at Ferrar.
"Me too."
His smirk vanished as he looked to Hopkins. And then at Quantrel as he stepped out. And before long, they were all asking to fight him. He looked to Anna. They showed no fear, no feeling in the face of death. He turned back to them.
"Do none of you care if you die?"
Ferrar spoke up.
"Sir, I care about strength. I care about my family, Sir. I care about my daughter growing up in a world where she can be free, and go to school, and have kids of her own. If fighting you helps me to reach the point where I don't have to worry about that anymore, then nothing will frighten me from stepping up. Especiallly not death!"
David appraised him and the other men who were stone cold still, looked and beheld their determination.
Holy shit. He was...excited.
"ALRIGHT THEN, YOU WEAKLINGS! COME EARN YOUR DINNER!"

"DOWN! UP! DOWN! UP! NOW RUN!"
His men, having completed the pushups, stood and ran, heading for the side of a building. They were fast, and strong. Elites. They climbed the building like a bunch of ants, reaching the top easily, only to find David standing there in a loose stance. He waited for each of them to line up before him. They struck a strict "attention" pose, waiting.
"It has been one week. You have fought and clawed your way forward. I congradulate you. I understand the difficulty you all have had- it's evidenced by the bruises on your face. We will do this every morning- one hundred pushups, followed by a vertical scale. The new difference, will be your training. Anne will start you in kickboxing, while I will train you later on the beginnings of Brazillian jujitsu and Various Kung Fu forms. Get used to this scenery- you will see it six days a week, three hours a day until I decide a field trip is necessary. Get started."
Anne stepped up in front, in a sportsbra and yoga pants. Smirks lined the mens faces. The blonde cocked an eyebrow before shouting-
"LISTEN UP! I AM NOT HERE TO BE YOUR FRIEND! I AM NOT HERE TO BE YOUR BUDDY! NOR AM I HERE TO FUCK- SO GET YOUR EYES OFF WHATS NOT YOURS AND FOCUS, OR I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL MAKE EACH OF YOU MY BITCH IN A QUICKNESS!"
Bengs opened his mouth to speak, barely getting out a sound before the back of Annes heel slammed into his jaw, lifting him off his feet, the spin of her hips and rotation of her body adding torque. The smiles vanished.
"I DIDNT TELL YOU TO TALK- WHAT, YOU THINK THIS IS A GAME!? THE TOUGH SHIT STARTS NOW BOYS, SO LETS SHAPE UP!"
David said nothing, and as they took their stances, he would remove any hope of theirs that he would wath over them under her care by flying off toward the command tents. She had full reign, and they would learn soon enough not to test their leash.

Stepping out of the shadows, almost out of nowhere seemingly, a lone figure could be seen striding towards the group. Coming closer and closer, they would see a man that was shirtless, shoeless, and ready to train. His eyes narrow set, they would see no emotion on Kazuya's face, only calm focus as far as the eye could see. He had been summoned, ready to train, and ready to train he was.

Unlike Kazuya and seeming to pop out of the shadows of nowhere, Kiyr literally did. In fact, she materialized into being just beside the flame-wielding man, the shadows tugging and wavering in the air before disappearing as she came into view.
Shorts, sports bra. She kept her blue eyes ahead after taking a quick look around.

A wild Jackson appeared! He, like Kaz, was shirtless and barefoot, He used a burst of Qi, to push him off the ground and higher up to the roof of the building where everyone was at. Once there he sat, on the edge. And waited....
Soon... he thought.

OOC: very sick. Sorry about the wait and length.
Day 22:
His feet touched the ground, eyes looking over the three newcomers to the group. He had sent out the requests, with a short detail of what he wanted. He warned them not to show up unless they were serious about it- he was glad none of them disappointed. He would flex his fingers before waving a hand at Anna, would would walk over to a large trunk that was sitting behind her, bound in leather. Opening it, she lifted out jackets- five of them at a time, handing out ten in all.
The Jackets said "Sky Force" in the center of the back, with the name of the soldier across the shoulder blades, both in a bluish color. David would turn to Kaz, Kiyr and Jackson.
"So. I asked you three here to join my squad. My personal force. You will be my eyes and ears in the dark, and my face in the sky. Both figuratively and, you find, quite literally."
The ten men with Anna, all wearing Jackets, jumped into the sky one at a time, rocketing off out of the Dragonland to train elsewhere, their flight controlled and silent. Their first field trip. David would point back at the trunk and give a small smile.
"There are jackets in there for you three- once I deem your ready. As I have chosen you to head up my troops, you will decide, here and now, whether to swear loyalty to me or not. This will, of course, not mean you can simply skirk your other duties, or refuse an order from another elder. However, my missions and their results will only be spoken of to me. If you are the apprentice of another Elder, you will NOT speak of your missions even to them. You will serve me and follow my orders even if you dont agree with them. If you do not wish to agree, I understand- you can leave now. But once you Agree, there is no going back."
He woukd wait to see if they agreed, in which case he would continue discussing what the Sky Force is and what they would be doing tonight.

(OOC: No worries Corey, get better soon dude)
Barely unfazed by Kiyr suddenly materializing from literally out of nowhere beside him, his eyes would briefly shift over to Jackson arriving just mere moments after, before returning back to David. After the blond known only to Kazuya as The Voice of the Storm Dragon opened a trunk and handed out leather jackets to the ten soldiers present, all of them promptly taking off soon after, Kazuya would nod his head slightly at David's words, and say two simple words:
"I agree."
He didn't come here just to pack it up and leave immediately, he had no fear, no surrender.

[OoC: It's cool dude, get well soon.]
Jackson dropped to a knee, and saluted his Master.
"As you wish, sir."
He then saluted Blaze, fist into open palm and stood back up.
He nodded at Kazuya, he could stand to learn a thing or two from the veteran, and he motioned for Kaz to join him on another corner of the roof.

This...this was something Kiyr had to think about.
"A named Dragon can not directly oppose another. Does that apply here? Is this oath to you overriding my own to Mathew with the conditions of my own bond to the Earth Dragon..?" She paused. She had given Mathew her complete trust and loyalty, and could never go back on that word, yet she also needed strong bonds with both David and Leon should she ever succeed in gaining her own title and position at the head of the Core. This would give her one to David.
"...I do not know, if he should ever ask, what would happen. What binds me to him would be of equal power to what would bind me to you, Storm Dragon. Would that not be a point of conflict..?"

He nodded to each Jackson and Kazuya in turn, before turning to Kiyr. Of course, the female asked a thousand questions- it would be a disappointment if she didn't. He had come to expect that from her. Kaz and Jackson were each loyal to him individually anyway, but she had other things to go by- that was the point of his entire statement. He put a hand behind his head and scratched.
"Do I ever question you about what Mathew has you do, what secret missions he sends you on, or why he has you do them? As a matter of respect, I would not. I expect the same from him. If, however, such a conflict arose, I would expect you to decline to answer, and give him the reason. That being- your work for me has nothing to do with your trust in him, your allegiance as his apprentice. You are with him to learn and grow, hopefully into something more than you already are. That doesn't mean your restricted from making other commitments, or that you must give him every part of yourself without question. If Jackson were already a part of the Lightning Brigade, I would not ask a single question of him regarding it, as it has nothing to do with what he is serving me for."
He put his hands behind his back.
"If you feel beholden to Mathew beyond the oath sworn as his apprentice, and you feel that serving me in this capacity would not be possible while working and learning under Amtrum, I would expect you to walk away now. If you choose to stay, it does not mean you value myself over him, or him over me- but I expect full compliancy. This is still a sect within the Dragon Empire, and failure to abide by the law I give will see you not only thrown from the ranks of the Dragon-kin, but likely your tongue cut out as well to keep from spilling the secrets I will entrust you with. It is nothing personal- but it is war, against an enemy far better equipped- and we can't make exceptions based on friendships or attachments."
He was indicating that his core would not only be an open force of experienced combatants, but would also work in the shadows, a sort of "FBI/CIA/Secret Service" group within the core. He stared at her, waiting.

Kiyr blinked owlishly and turned to the side, eyes catching the specks that were the other Sky Force members almost out of sight. She was turning things over within her mind after nearly seeming like she would leave by that pivot.
She didn't need Mathew to hold her hand through everything, and knowing David's line of thought helped her, too. The final decision was hers alone.
"I accept." Came the reply, absolute and firm as she tipped her head to look at David before turning the rest of the way to face him. She wasn't afraid her loyalty in this would waver. It was different and separate, yet the same and connected, to her own oath to Mathew, and just as unbreakable. "It will be my Honour to serve as a leader of the Sky Force within the Shadow of the Storm Dragon."

Nodding back at Jackson, Kazuya would join Jackson on another corner of the roof, crouching down and resting his arms on top of his legs as he stared up at the sky, waiting for Kiyr and David.

"Kazuya, I know of a way this can be beneficial to both me, you, and the grunts we've been assigned to train." Jackson began when Kaz reached him. "If you can help train me, as well, then I in turn can pass what I know, and have adapted from your teachings unto those who come after, and you can learn from me as well. It's mutually beneficial."

OOC: lets get this started once more. For the purpose of this thread only, flight on the items will not have a limit. Please put an OOC message in your next post stating you agree to that stipulation.
David smiled as she stated she agreed. He turned to the other two, grabbing two jackets and tossing them to them. They had both of their names on each of their respective coats. He turned to Kiyr and handed her one as well. Be shared a look with the three of them before clearing his throat and continuing.
"I am glad to hear you three have agreed. Kazuya- you will head up training and combat readiness with Jackson as your Luitenant. Kiyr will run our ghost devision. She will command five of my squad. You will have the rest. Train them for battle, and war. Make them strong. Train also in the power these jackets give you. I expect reports. In one week, we will discuss how things are going, and outline your duties in the coming days. Jackson- as my apprentice, we will work together as well to toughen you up. You two are dismissed."
He would wait for them to accept the coats and leave with them before turning back to Kiyr. Speaking softly, now that they were alone, he would outline things for her.
"You are to be my luitenant. I will train you myself in the use of your jacket, as well as the dark arts you will need for what I have planned. You will learn things- many things. Things you probably wont have wanted to know. You will speak these things to my ear only, no other. I will... Unfortunately exact a further price from you. I must teach you how to handle pain... How to ignore it. Shrug it away. Because if ever you were captured, you must learn to resist. Are you prepared to take on this responsibility?"

(OOC: I'm fine with that.)
"... I won't go easy on you Jackson. I am much stronger and tougher than possibly anyone you've fought before. You will know pain, but it will make you stronger. I am fine with this but I had to tell you before anything begins."
Turning to David soon after, Kazuya would catch the jacket thrown to him, his name on the jacket. Nodding at his new position, Kazuya would place his right fist over his heart, signifying his acceptance of the jacket before turning and leaving with his new jacket. If Jackson wished to begin his training now, he was free to follow Kazuya back to the rebuilt dojo and house he had taken up residence in in Dragon Territory.
