"It was my screw up Jeeves. I'm responsible for this. That man is paralyzed because of what I did."

Shugo unlocked a safe and would retrieve a small medicine bottle which held a single capsule.

"But that could be the only way to cure your heart."

"Which is why I decide to tell you last second. So that you couldn't talk me out of it. Besides Valo and Leon'll be here any minute now to help me out. I'll be fine."

Shugo smirked and would begin retrieving a few more things for his trip. His gauntlets and vambraces among the first things he grabbed. The boy would pull them onto his arms after grabbing the feather cloak and putting that over his torso. He would also grab his bag of tools to help them out as they went along.

I wonder what Shugo could want...sounded pretty urgent.

Valo was fiddling with a locket he was wearing, lost in thought. He sighed and got up, grabbing his coat and gloves. Ever since he moved into the Yuy Manor, he hadn't been up to much except getting occasional tidbits of info from Katarina, his source in the government.

Making sure to put on his greaves and collar, just in case, Valo left his room and made his way to where Shugo was. Once outside the room, he would knock quickly before inviting himself in.

"Sup?[/i]"

At the door would be this guy knocking on the door himself. He wore shoulder guards cross strapped over his shirt front and back. On the shoulder guards was the flag of the new Lightning Nation Leon built in his new empire.

"Hello, I am Yun Oguri. Knight Commander for the Lightning Dragon."

"Wait what? What about Leon?"

The boy sighed. He was hoping to see Leon again since he hadn't gotten a chance to since they rescued him, but what was important was they had man power.

"Sorry. I'm Shugo Yuy. Good to have you with us Commander Yun."

Shugo would hold out his hand to the commander to shake.

"What we are doing tonight is heading into Barker HQ. I have acquired 3 uniforms for us from a Private Frank Woods, Private Joseph Miller, and Corporal Brandon James. There was a man that I paralyzed in our pursuit to recover Leon. I don't care how the Dragons, Rogues, or anyone else does it. Here in Aura we do not kill or leave permanent damage like that. Our plan is to head to the infirmary and give Jason Biggs this, the Candy Tear. It should heal his paralysis. That being said I understand if either of you don't want to do this since we are helping out an enemy soldier."

Huh...so Leon was supposed to be here.

Valo just watched silently, and gave a small wave when Yun came in. He hadn't seen Leon in a long time, and wondered why he sent someone else in his stead. He looked back over at Shugo when he began to explain why he called them all there.

"So that's what it is, huh? Well, you've got my help. I can't ignore someone in need, even when they're an enemy.[/i]"

Valo would give a lighthearted grin. This type of heroism could get them killed someday. But there probably wasn't a better way to live life. Valo wondered where Shugo acquired such an item, but he figured he could ask him about it another time.

"Leon is currently over seeing his apprentice's current mission and can't look away."

Yun would take the hand shake and return it, giving himself a moment to think.

"If you wish I can ask my intel for where Jason Biggs is exactly. If he was injurred so heavily they probably discharged him. Barker is known for abandoning those too injurred to work for him."

"Thank you Yun. That'll probably be even better. The thought had occurred to me, but I was hoping Barker was better than that... but it would go against his philosophy wouldn't it? A world where the strong live and the weak die..."

Shugo's fists would close tightly as a bit of electricity would expel from the vambraces. The boy would control his anger and take a deep breath.

"We'll follow your intel then Yun."

"Hmm... so we may not need to do as much sneaking around as we thought then.[/i]" Valo mused aloud, his hand on his chin. He hadn't had too much experience with Barker yet, but he was sure his time in this city would educate him pretty well.

Valo noticed Shugo's anger for a moment, making it clear that Barker was a bigger threat than what he thought. Otherwise, knowing Shugo he would've taken him down by now. Hopefully, the two of them together could find a chance...

He looked over at Yun, curious about what his plan was.

Yun would think for a minute and head outside, sending a messanger to run to Lightning Tower it would take some time, but he'd return with the intel.

"Hmm, he was discharged, he took up residence in Barker territory though. West Carson, some apartments."

Yun would spread around the strip map.

"Then that's where we'll go."

Shugo would help clear the desk so that Yun could put out the map. Shugo would lay out the uniforms for his men as well.

"Alright. Yun, Valo. What do you think is going to be the best way to get into the apartments?"
