Actually... That was really all there was to it. There was no hidden ulterior motive she had in the back of her mind. To defend him and...well, to keep fighting out of school grounds. Though it seemed that the more she routed the halls of #259, the more fighting she saw between - no, not student and student - but one where an enforcer was involved.
If she received a grain of rice for every time she saw an enforcer lurking around, she could feed those poor, African children. If she received a grain of rice for every enforcer she saw lurking around that was beating a student, she could feed those starving in North Korea.
Not literally, but you get the point? Highly exaggerated.
Her? Not getting the point?
"I guess not."
She remained still, carefully watching his every move, fingers twitching slightly at his next choice of words.
Her response?
"How unfortunate."

Guy smiled at that. He leaned backward, trying not to bellow in laughter. The whole situation was amusing, and what was even more amusing was that look on her face that never changed. How it was? Who knew. But, willing down that volume that was pressing in his lungs, he put his hand to his face and fidgeted his finger on his cheek. "I like you," he said, mostly to himself, quieter than he usually was. "A lot. I'm telling you, if there were more girls like you in my life, well... I'd be a happy guy." He stopped for the briefest of moments. "Unfortunately, that's not how it goes." Stepping forward -- for the umpteenth time for not even more than half an hour, and he noted himself that he could've gotten close enough to actually kiss her if he put all those steps in her direction (of course, that would risk possible injury in his case) -- he made that jagged sound of clearing his throat, even though he knew that it did nothing to clear his throat because he'd tried it so many times before, and said, "So, Mitsuki, before I can have the pleasure of kissing you I guess we're going to have to ... um ... know each other first. ... Right?" He reached out a hand and said, "Courtyard, after hours?"

If there were more girls like her in the world...
She'd probably end up killing them all. She isn't even sure how others put up with her stoic reactions; though Mitsuki might get along with them, she hates being copied - which is ironic, because of her Qi. So everyone else who's all stoic and unresponsive would be like a wanna-be-Mitsuki.
Unless they were born years and years before her...?
Yeah, he won't be kissing her anytime soon, that's for sure.
She stared down at his hand, an eye brow arching. Her own figure remained the same as she looked back up toward Guy, hands remaining near her sides.
"Get to class."
No, she would not shake his hand, yes, she would be at the courtyard after school. It was not that she had denied him blatantly, considering he was sucking up to her by pitiful comments, but whatever.
'Know eachother'... Pft..
Well, good luck with that.

Guy smiled. He didn't exactly expect her to shake his hand, or even give him a direct answer for that matter. But to him, the more she denied him and carried on with this apathetic attitude of hers, the more he was attracted to her and impressed by her. But anyways, back to the matter at hand, he drew in a long, deep breath and lowered his hand. She'd told him to get to class. Why defy her? She was hot enough to be bossed around by anyways. With a preliminary moment of stillness, he turned and said, "A pleasure, sweetheart," before waltzing off, his footsteps echoing through the boxed corridor, a grin on his face and concepts of anticipation forming in his head. He was very, very relaxed. Even the dark thought of that hulking oaf, what was his name? 'Oaf', was out of his mind. His first day here was certainly better than he would've expected it to be; there was a fight, a crowd, attention, but best of all, a very nice girl. Not very nice, but Guy couldn't help but be impressed. Yep. The First Day at #259. He was so excited. Suddenly, the hall forked narrowly around a corner to the right, and Guy stopped before looking back over his shoulder towards Mitsuki. He hollered, "I'm your guy!" And then he disappeared.
