Mister Travers!!..
...You are required to take the test Cody!
Come back!
*BANG* Went the door..
It opened in a large amount..Almost splitting by the end of it's knob..
"Pah! I ain't taking that.."
Handcuffs jingled as he stormed out of the room. Apparently a test of some sort was to be taken in the chem lab of the school. And..Cody wasn't going to take it?
What was the matter?
He wandered down the hallway..His arm hurt..
..
"What the hell is the matter with this school?"
As he wandered down the darkened hallway..Several beatings were taking place..Bullies..? No..Just punks..
Cody beat them all aside..Letting the victims go free..
It was almost as if justice was gone..
It was like Metro City all over again..
A total destruction..With no justice..
Still wandering..
A lost soul?
...
"..What to do..I wonder who kept things in order back before me.."

Valekin had taken up the habit of answer people's questions to themselves. Such as this one. Who had kept things in order back before Cody? Was it anyone really? Valekin didn't keep order, but he had the school so terrified of him for a period of time that he had become a legend, the monster that stalked the halls for no reason. The demon. The man that didn't even go to school here, nor teach here, but was here.
"I guess that was me."
Valekin had said from several meters away. Holding up a kid by his bloodied face, the claws piercing the boy's flesh around his skull. Valekin had killed very few students of the school, very few, less than twenty. And that killing streak wasn't even comparing to the kill count he had in the city. But his kill count wasn't important, it was the justice factor.
"I never dished out bloodshed or pain or suffering for the sake of justice however. I only crushed them because they were so weak as to attack only people weaker than themselves. Bullies are cowards, and cowards die in shame."
He dropped the boy that had up until recently, been a constant douche to his fellow students. Did he really need the gauntlets that were strapped to his arms? No, he didn't. But they were heirlooms, they were his birthright, and their black metal splashed with the red of blood was a sight that was recognized in the school. The Panzer-Hand Gauntlets. A talked about commodity. It was in the Kaluskov family for 900 years, disappearing every once in a while, but only to reemerge.
"Are you a person that deals justice?"

"Are you a person that deals justice?"
Was Cody?...But more importantly..Who was this?
He watched as the fallen student hit the ground..He wretched in agony from the massive amount of pain that he was in..My my..Cody came across quite a fellow..
"...Hmm..I guess that would classify as being justice worthy.."
Yes, bullies..
"..Bullies are a problem..They think they're bigger than everyone.."
He approached the figure.
"..Let me ask you something.."
The chains of his handcuffs dangled on his right wrist..They seemed to be chaining in harmony..My did they ever have representation amongst others..
He was known for other thigns as well..
"Have you heard of..
..The Metro City incident..?
The one involving the Mad Gear..?"
Cody cocked his head to the side..
Such an inquisitive question immediate from a meeting such as this..
But this figure seemed to know what he was talking about..

"No."
It was that simple. No. The final answer, the ultimately denying two letter word. No. That word said a lot, not only had he not heard of the incident, he had also never heard of the city. More... pressing matters were on his mind rather than some incident in a city he's never even heard of. A war was raging in his own home country, and did he care? Not in the least, he was used to it. He grew up through a war. Why would a little incident that just happened to a city be on his list of things to know about? Where people on both sides of the war die everyday in his home country, soldiers, militias, rebels, and innocents. Every single day.
A five year old could be playing on his home street, walk a little too far as five year olds do, into a neighbors house that was recently the front line of the war. And step on a butterfly mine. The child darest not move, for if he does move after stepping on that mine, it will explode. Valekin lost a good friend to such a situation. They were walking through the woods in the highlands, and his friend stepped on the mine. They talked for a few hours, then parted ways in solemn sorrow.
"Should I have?"

That would depend on the fact on wether he cared about how certain things were handeled a few years back.
"No..But in that case, wrap your mind around this..
Would it be considered justice..?
..If a boy no less than 14 years old went out on a warpath against an entire city filled with thugs, assailants and crazed war mongrels..
...Defeated them all and thier leader through a great struggle which lasted a year..
..And be incarcerated for his actions?"
A simple question..
..Just a little mind boggling though..

"Probably not. But human justice is always going to be flawed."
Double truth. Was Valekin right? Yea, pretty much. Though the boy's attitude of being dealt a sour hand in life was getting on his nerves. Valekin could make it into a contest if he wanted to, and he'd win by a long shot. His father was killed, then almost all of his squad was destroyed, then his mother was killed, then his sisters were brutally raped then killed. All in the meantime Valekin's fighting a personal war against the people doing this, and gaining almost no ground.
Every time he kills one of them, they kill someone in his family. Luckily for him, he was all out of family.
"So what's your point?"
