A blue fire begins to burn a maze into the ground leaving black markings in a shape of the maze, it seems difficult... Will Lucien try it? Seems the staff can be used for writting in the maze.

Lucien is quite confused at the random blue flame, but he LOVES puzzles. He's eager to give it a try, but not really sure what to do, so he starts walking with his staff through the maze, moving forward.

The staff twitches a bit in Lucien's hand as if asking him to go left. Does he follow?

Lucien stares at the staff, and after a moment decides to follow it. It's never let him down before. It's never told him what to do, either.

Instincts kick in and you follow your trusty staff. it leads you through the maze and to the other side easily. You pass welcome to the new tier along with.
Hook Staff: +2 Str, +1 Dex
This staff if broken can be fixed only by Lucien, as well if held can keep Lucien alive indefinitely. No need to eat, drink, or sleep.

Lucien finds in the maze another staff that looked... EXACTLY like his own. Could it be that they were calling to each other?
Lucien picked it up, and he felt a surge of energy. Wait.. He didn't feel hungry anymore?
He didn't feel hungry anymore.
He took both staves home, where his old one would be placed on a stand.
