[ooc: Justin first, then it can be open to those who appreciate music? ] ---- The lunch bell rang throughout the campus, closing her book with a snap, Olesya left her history class as the teacher was shouting reminders after them. The students could care less though, it was lunch time!! Reaching her locker, she threw in her combination, popping it open as she put in the last number and putting her books away in the top portion. Nestled next to her backpack was a red and silver bass, her baby. She picked it up, sliding the strap over her in a fluid movement and putting it on resting behind her, right hand protectively on the neck at her side. Olesya always played with her bass at lunch, it always relaxed her from the tedious stress of schoolwork. Two PB&Js, an apple, a baggie of triscuits, and a sobe green tea. Perfect. Olesya found a nice seat toward the corner of the cafeteria where she could rest her back against the wall and eat in peace, she set her guitar in her lap and plucked lightly at the strings. The sound wasnt loud enough to hear across the loud room, it barely made it to her ears before being absorbed into the cacophony of the caf.

Stu was there, standing in the doorway to the room. The Cafe. Cafeteria. Lunch Room.
FOOD!
He held a brown paper bag in one hand, his other dipped precariously into his left pocket. He picked his way across the room. He sat down at a table pretty close to the corner, and began munching down on a peanut butter sandwich, he personally detesting jelly. He mowed down on the sandwich, drinking from a bottle of water in the process.
Then, he heard it. A twang. Followed by another. Very unharmonious, yet a rythem that was devolved from their playing accoustically that could easily translate into a nice song.
He began humming something unconsciously, the rhythm easily accessible, yet complex enough that it was able to easily be worked into a song.
The two songs harmonized and, though she might not hear him, he was ecstatic on the inside. He turned, and was greeted by a pleasing sight, yet not what he was expecting of a bassist.
In front of him sat one of the prettiest girls he had ever seen, auburn hair with a devious eye hidden behind its bangs. His own hair, unkempt as always, was quickly smothered by his hand, as he stood up and sat down next to the girl.
There, together, he finished humming the song that she was playing, as he added in a small rhythm section to it with the patting of hands and slight claps. He waited for her to finish, as well as he, and then he stared slightly off into space, allowing her to initiate conversation, or to play another song...

Bum, bum...bum buahh bum beh-bum..
The strings hummed lightly against her fingers, pausing briefly as her hand shot over, grabbing a triscuit and propelling it into her mouth. Yum. Lunch was going well, Olesya was relaxing quite nicely with her food and music. This wasn't to say however, that Olesya was antisocial. She wasn't in the slightest. But she understood and enjoyed the quiet and luxury of peaceful moments. There were some days when she would sit at a table toward the middle and converse and laugh with the rest of the population. Hell, the other day, she got into a fight with the school captain for fun. I guess you could call our musical friend a complex individual.
Plunk.
Someone sat down beside her, or rather in front of her because she was sitting sideways with her back against the wall and her feet up on the bench with knees bent. She couldn't recall seeing him around before, but he was humming merrily...in tune to her 'music.' Olesya finished the riff she'd been playing and then stopped, the notes drifting off into the blur of the sounds around him. The disheveled haired girl simply stared at him for a moment, curiously, before speaking.
"Hello."
A simple greeting, her tone just about as melodious as the impromptu song she'd been playing.

Stu took the last bite of his sandwich, which he had stopped eating to hum the tune with the girl. Then, as she spoke, he finished chewing, took another swig of water, and looked towards her. His eyes were curious.
Yet, then again, they were also pitch black.
He scratched at his head, and then returned her greeting.
'lo
He continued staring, as though pondering something very deep. However, more than likely, he was just zoning out...

Peculiar kid...He replied just as simply, munching at his sandwich and staring off into space. And normally, this would be fine, however. She didn't know who he was, and the humming was curious. Did he like the music? Was he a musician? Who the hell was this kid?! Olesya grabbed another triscuit.
Pause. Silence.
She leaned forward toward her knees, looking at him.
"You were humming to my bass.."
She prompted, not unkindly, curiously even. Finishing the triscuit she grabbed a triangle half of her sandwich and bit into it.

Stu stared off, penetratingly dark, glossy eyes pierced the wall behind Olesya. He hummed a little bit again, and then took another swig of his water, the coolness sliding down his throat happily.
Yea... Good lil' line you got. Would make a good song, what what?
He continued staring...

"Thanks." Olesya grinned, tilting her chin up a fraction in a pleased manner. She looked at the boy again, grabbing the second triangle half of her sandwich. Then something odd struck her, his eyes were black. Not like, pupil black, but all black.
"Do you wear colored contacts?" She asked curiously, biting into her sandwich and chewing. She leaned back against the wall, one knee still bent with her foot on the bench, the other resting on the floor. Alright so it was a bit random but sometimes when thoughts struck her she voiced them. Oh well.

His head moved somewhat lethargically towards the girl. Looking, not like actually moving towards her. He smiled a toothy grin, and then ran a hand through the blue locks. He scratched absent mindedly.
No.... Its the consequences of an unforseen auto accident. Me mate crashed into one of those safety pylons and rocketed me through the front window. Caught some glass, and something.
Eh. It dinna hurt.
Much.

Car accident? Eyes wide, she tilted her head to the side.
"Can you see me?"
Wow...what an insensitive question. Realizing what she said, the auburn haired girl gasped, leaning forward against her knees and gesturing apologetically.
"I mean, not to say that it wouldn't be okay if you couldn't, it's just that you're eyes are different, and not that different is a bad thing either, sometimes I speak without really thinking first, like I am right now..shit."
She was speaking increasingly faster with each potentially politically incorrect thing she said, eventually just appologizing and clamping her mouth shut before she babbled him to death.

Stu looked absentmindedly at the girl. Somewhere within his head a bulb went off, sending an electrical current to spark him into doing something for once.
He smiled at the girl.
Yeah! I can see just fine! Its just like, the pupil pigment leaked, and my eye had a weird something that caused it to continue to reproduce. They said that the entire eyeball is permanently tinted black.
But its okay. No need to apologize.
You play bass very well. How long have you been playing? And do you like movies?
He leaned forwards slightly, coming closer to the girl, showing her some sort of way of showing that he was okay with pretty much any question, as he could see, and he knew blind people! He knew them! well, some of them.
I guess?

Olesya relaxed when he said he could see, curious about the whole pupil pigment thing. She thought a pupil was just an opening in the eyes, but then again, she wasn't a doctor. Stranger things have happened, right? She smiled as he changed the subject, and she lifted up her bass slightly, showing him.
"Thanks! I've been playing for a few years now on and off. It was my dad's and I found it in my grandparents attic back in Ohio. I've never really found anyone to play with though, so my songs have been a little limited I guess."
She laughed at his last question, at least she wasn't the only random person in this conversation.
"Yes, I like movies. Lots of movies."

He smiled. She was very cute. Kinda girly, but very cute.
REALLY? Whats your favorite movie!? I love Zombie movies. all kinds. tons. Name one, i've probably seen it a dozen times.
Well, there are others too, but I REALLY love the horror genre.
I sing too. Dunno iffen you noticed or not.
He rummaged through his brown paper bag and grabbed a banana. It was almost comical that a very ape like boy ate a banana.

"I guess my favorite movies are the Die Hard movies. I love action films, explosions and stuff, ya know? Zombies are cool too though, if a little decaying.." If you placed Olesya next to her sisters, she wouldn't seem girly at all. Gabri had the long luscious locks, and Melody was the epitome of a young lady. Les liked action and music, and dirt. She just happened to have a soprano voice, and curves.
Finishing off her sandwich, she grabbed her greent tea, twisting on and off the metal top, taking a sip. "I can sing too, though I haven't really sung in front of people much. Do you play any instruments?"

Stu munched on the banana, looking like a stereotypical monkey. He scratched at the blue hair mopped on his head, and he stared at the girl.
Action movies are good, iffen you like that stuff.
And instruments? Yeah... I've dabbled in Guitar, but not much, but I am pretty good at keyboard. I can use a drum kit as well...
Your very pretty.
He said it very non-chalantly, as though it were a somewhat common thing someone would say.

"I can't play drums very well, can't keep up more than one rhythm at onc- oh? Uh..thanks." Olesya chuckled, cheeks burning slightly. He threw her a compliment out of the blue, it wasn't very often that someone just called her pretty, so it was nice. And whenever she got a compliment, Olesya always felt compelled to say something nice in return. Half because she felt conceited if she just settled with her own compliment, and because she knew people liked being told nice things? Okay, well it made sense in her head.
"I like your hair, it's different." She popped a triscuit into her mouth. "I'm sorry, but what's your name? I'm Olesya."
