This Was A Thing
"Unfettered" had noticed himself stopping in the hallways of the Crow's Nest one day. More to what he noticed... was a man who was sharing a mutual stare with him.
Something clicked behind the German's face.
"Ach.
"Zis ist most gut."
"....Mister Winters."
"Oh, ja. Ja?"
>.>;
"Oh, ach, du are a new face around here. New recruit, hm?"
"Uh, yes, sir...
The German's left arm calmly goes over his left hip, looking over the man, nodding.
"Lucien, vasn't it? Tai's given me good reports."
Lucien nodded at the mention of Drill Sergent Tai. He had never met this man before, but something about him...
"Yes, sir. Lucien DeChain. It's a pleasure to meet you, Zero Winters."
He had heard that name on the very first day.
The German continued to nod... quietly. His smile seemed to wrap over his face, as he continued to observe the man. Very deliberately, the man stepped closer to Lucien as though to make for passing the man down the hallway.
...Stopping with his head next to the man's right ear, his long hair drapping back over his own shoulder as he... leaned closer.
"Du apparently... are due for promotion. Tai has made note of your commanding, tactical and observation skills on das field."
A chuckle, as the man leaned backwards. He would continue to walk off down the hall, towards his office...
...Nonchalantly patting the man on his shoulder and walking forward a bit.
"Ich will be looking forward to working directly vith du soon!" he called out, leaving.
Lucien froze as the man came closer. Something about the man made him... Frightened. As the man whispered in his ear, the color returned to his face, and he turned his head slightly to glance as the man's face. All that could be in view from that distance, however, was his sharp chin and jawline.
A chuckle, a pat on the back, and the man was walking away. A cold shiver went through Lucien as they parted, as if the cold followed him. Turning around to see the man exit view, Lucien blinked. Twice.
"Did... Did I just get raped?" He stammered.
