"He wanted me to kill.......My mother." He almost started to cry.
"I refused to kill her. I love her, she is so much more than he could ever be. She is the most incredible person. He wanted her gone because he cheated on her, and she knows to much abbout his business, she can have him put in jail killed and then raped repeatedly. knowing what she knows. He asked me to kill my own mother. I WOULDN'T DO THAT!!!!! So, he disowned me, cast me out and left me as a drifter. I became a merc to live and survive because of what he did to me." A single tear dropped into his now empty glass.
