"You in particular? Quite the high opinion of yourself. If you are speaking of your diplomatic skills I should remind you that I was the first to reach out to the God's and start building bridges while the Crows went out of their way to try and burn them with us. You've done a nice job of damage control, but you are hardly the only diplomat in the city. Or tactician."

'...the First Crow should take care, else she may end up in a rig similar to my own...'
Kiyr looked down into the crib, arms firmly held crossed at her back, gripping her elbows. She could not speak. It wasn't her place. If she could have cast a look to Delilah, the same sort of sympathetic wince the woman had given her, she would. But...
She couldn't. Because Kyrie herself had fallen from what she thought she could do, she did not feel it her place to try and help, here and now.

She inclined her head at that, chuckling quietly to herself, "Not so much of an opinion of myself as an increasingly draining fact. But yes, that is rather arrogant of me. I apologize.
"I do, however, have lasting friendships with all three elder Dragons --yes I am being quite bold here to include yourself in that list, but there it is. I am able to traverse Dragon territory as it suits me," she nodded to the sash tied about her arm. "I am a God, a Crow, a member of Militia and I have built many relationships with some of the lesser gangs. I would die for each of you.
"I only mention myself this way because you know you can trust me," she indicated the baby in her arms. "And, as it would appear, others feel the same. You have been very busy building these same bridges. It's time we build one here as well."
And here she was, reaching out, looking to build that very bridge.
"You are a formidable and good man. It would be an honour to call you ally."

He smirked.
"I am personally prepared and willing to sign a treaty unifying our military might, opening our boarders, engaging in trade. In addition to that I would be personally willing to work on repairing your roads to make travel easier."
He would slowly take his child from Delilah and cradle her in his arms before continuing.
"Each gang in the alliance will be allowed to send 2 members of their choice to the tactical briefings to give their input and devise strategies. The location of these meetings will be hosted on the closest friendly territory to the land we wish to claim. On the field any Dragon Elder who is there will be the battle commander. Failing that a battle commander will be assigned in the meeting prior to the attack."
He slowly began to pace in the room, smiling down at his little princess.
"Upon Barker's defeat I propose a counsel to run and oversee rebuilding. Two members from each Alliance to make a counsel of six. In the case of a tie I will have the deciding vote as the Eldest Dragon. The Gods will have the right to host the counsel, and the Crows will have the right to introduce topics for discussion and voting first."

A surge of triumph erupted in her chest at his words, though her face remained politely impassive. She was quiet as Mathew laid out his terms, seeing them take shape in her mind. She seemed to straighten a bit, as though a weight had left her shoulders. At last...
"Two things. First, that we wait to make this completely official before we have the other required names and this on paper. Also to let the other parties have their say in the terms.
Second, the 'one commander' thing...may be an oversight. If one is engaged in personal battle, is wounded or is called away from the field, that leaves us with no commander. Two would work best, for accountability and for safety.
"If so, I can fully agree to these terms myself,"
A smile formed on her lips of it's own accord. There. That was easy.

He would move and gently set Evelyn down in her crib.
"Agreed. And providing no one has objections to these terms we can consider ourselves once force."
He said, turning to face Delilah and extending a hand for her.
"Hopefully your side does not take too long mulling it over. We are at war after all."

Smiling warmly, Delilah clasped Mathew's hand firmly in hers. Her lips tightened a bit at his last comment.
"I'll see to it personally."
She had plans to kick down the Zero's door when she got back to the 'Nest.
"So. Sidervib." Her upperlip curled in annoyed amusement at the thought.

"Well he owes me two apologies. So... I will give him a choice."
Mathew's lips twisted in to a wicked grin.

Kyrie took a slight step away from the crib. Mostly to let Mathew have enough room.
But with his words, she winced.

For a moment, Delilah almost felt sorry Sider. Almost. That grin of Mathew's did not bode well for the Warhazzard.
She shook her head and 'tsk'd. "I'm sure you'll have fun with that," A glance toward the window told her what time it was and she sighed. It was time to go back and get ready for Barker recon. She turned back to Mathew, apologetic.
"I have to go, unfortunately. The cookies and mini-cake are on the table in the basket. I also threw in some crochet baby blankets for the girls and a little gift from me."
She clapped her hand over her left breast, bowing to both him and Kiyr. "Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. Good luck, Kiyr. Please say good bye to Bastille for me," She straightened and, with a nod and a smile, Delilah would depart.
Happier than she had been in a long time.

"Good night" Bastille muttered in her sleep, immediately cocooning into the sheets. She hadn't heard a thing, and part of her might have been glad she didn't. However as soon as Delilah exited, Bastille would sit up and look around, hissing a bit- as she sat up too fast. She groaned and scooted herself deeper into her blanket shell. "five more minutes, then I'll blow up the nuclear plant"

"It's already destroyed. You missed your chance."
He said dryly.

Bastille didnt really hear him, but that did wake her up again. "Im never going to sleep again am I...." She muttered. "We...i mean we..." Tired muttering from the now sitting cacoon on the bed.

"We will."
He said moving to sit at the foot of the bed.
"Just have to endure for a while. Besides, we can always have Kiyr watch over them if you need a day away."
