The fast spinning of Lucien's staff would indeed blow away the fog surrounding him, giving Lucien much clearer vision. The figure eights would occasionally hit Kazuya as he circled around Lucien, though he would block the strikes simply from listening for the whistling of Lucien's staff as he spun it around.
Lucien would occasionally be able to spot a white blur among the clearing out fog, before on one revolution of his spinning staff, he'd find it parried by a blade composed of pure flame energy, which would not burn Lucien's staff to ashes, as Kazuya would attempt to push Lucien back. Now for a duel in weapons... of sorts.

Lucien would feel the occasional clash between stick and bone, but nothing seemed to be too damaging to the large man... And as the staff kept spinning, he found it suddenly blocked by a sword. The sword was on fire.
Correction, the sword was made of fire.
Lucien jumped back, landing in the water with a plop that was hard to mask. He took his staff in both his hands, laying across his body, and watched the flaming sword through the clearing fog. It was pretty easy to see it now, and the fact that his staff wasn't cut right in half meant that he didn't mean to do too much damage; this was just another training exercise. With fire.
Okay.
Lucien darted forward, taking long, jumping strides, and coming straight on for Kazuya, but at the last moment, feinted to the right, and went to strike his opponents lead sword hand.

Not only did Kazuya feel Lucien jump back, as his staff ceased making contact with Kazuya's flame sword, he also heard the splash made from Lucien's landing. With the fog nearly fully dissipated, Lucien would be able to see the flame sword clear as day. As Lucien charged forward, Kazuya would get into a simple stance, listening carefully to Lucien's footsteps. At the feint, Kazuya would dart forward and attempt to parry the strike to his lead sword hand, before swinging his blade out and swipe Lucien's staff outwards.

Lucien's staff was swung unceremoniously upwards and outwards, but the slim boy didn't mind too much. He took the momentum that was given to him, taking the butt end of his staff and swinging it into Kazuya's groin, under his extended guard.
Hopefully that worked a little better...

As Lucien went in for the strike to Kazuya's groin, he'd find his staff stopped by a blade of fire at the last minute, which would hit Kazuya's thigh, as opposed to his little friend. Now how was that possible you ask, when the flame blade Kazuya had created, was still pointed up and outwards? That's because Kazuya had created a second flame blade, obviously.
Flipping the blade around so the end of the blade's handle was pointing at Lucien, Kazuya would attempt to slam it into Lucien's chest. Both blades were made of flame energy, not flames, so Lucien wouldn't get burned. But it would still hurt though.

Lucien was knocked back by the strike, surprised by the second blade's sudden appearance. He was clearly outmatched.
As he hit the water, he contemplated his next move.
...
He didn't have one. Plus, he was pretty tired, even though this water felt pretty awesome.
He got up, panting.
And charged forwards again, hoping to strike Kazuya in the collar with his fist, while keeping his staff nearby to guard against the two fire swords.

Listening carefully for Lucien's movement, he could tell the young Crow was growing exhausted, as he was no longer trying to mask his footsteps, he was just going all out now. Avoiding the strike to his collarbone or clavicle simply by stepping to the side, Kazuya would attempt to end this fight with a simple but very light karate chop to the back of Lucien's neck. The strike would only cause Lucien to stumble forward, possibly fall to his knees.
Let's not see what would happen if Kazuya struck without holding back...

Lucien blacked out.
As he fell towards the ground, his body went limp. Crumpling, his knees hit first, launching his spine forwards as the impact made small splashes around his legs. Then, as his head fell into the water, a large plop would be heard, followed by silence.
{OOC: o.o Lucien will drown in three turns if his head stays submerged.}

Hearing a few splashes, followed by a very large plop, and then silence, Kazuya would frown slightly. After more silence, he would absorb one flame blade back into him and finally pull the blindfold off, seeing Lucien face first in the river, out cold. Well that wasn't good. Quickly stuffing the blindfold away, Kazuya would absorb the other flame blade into himself and quickly pull Lucien out of the drink, lightly tapping the young Crow's face to wake him up.
Well it beats slapping him awake.

Tap, tap, tap.
Lucien coughed, expelling liquid from his lungs and mouth as he gasped for air.
He opened his eyes, and saw Kazuya.
He was very close. Very close.
"What... What happened?"

Seeing Lucien had awaken from the tapping, Kazuya plunked him down on top of a nearby rock platform, letting him regain his normal breathing rate, crouching nearby.
"... You were beginning to drown after I knocked you out with a light Karate chop, but I pulled you out of the water. Take a moment to catch your breath."

Lucien was placed on a rock, panting, as he saw Kazuya kneel down closeby. As he caught his breath, he looked to the man, who seemed more quiet and contemplative than aggressive and ruthless. It was true, he was a real budoka. He had arrived at something. This, indeed, was what Lucien had been working towards. His level of mastery, not only of skill, but of self.
"Kazuya.. How did you become so skilled?" He asked, with wonder in his heart. Surely straight practice alone wouldn't have forged such a might.
If there was something Lucien could do to get stronger, he wanted to know.

"... I grew up in the Corporal Punishment System, Lucien, and fighting was common in every high school I was in. I've been involved in over fifty fights, though it is plainly obvious it was not through constant training and practice alone. I made an arduous journey to a temple located in the isolated regions of Tibet, which is not so easily replicated, but the result from that journey is. I take time every day to meditate and clear my mind, which not only improved my focus, but my fighting capabilities."
Fighting was something literally ingrained into Kazuya, but interestingly enough, he also possessed the mindset of a teacher. He was open to teaching others to help them improve, and willing to offer an attentive ear should someone have the need to talk about his or her worries.
"... Strength is not everything. Clear your mind and improve your focus, and your mastery of your skills and yourself will come."

Lucien nodded after a moment. The idea was one that was not foreign to him. The Musha Shugyo, the warrior's arduous path. And, that of meditation.. Of clearing the mind, and letting things be as they are. This was a popular exercise in the dojo, but at that time, Lucien had no patience for such things, having just come off of medication, his mind was too active to be able to partake in the exercise.
But maybe now... With what he knew now...
"I'll... I'll do that. If I can. My mind doesn't usually clear... It's hard for me to do that with this..." He gulped as he said the word, again, for the first time. "Disorder. My mind is constantly everywhere, and I know I need to empty it in order to maintain focus. In order to better myself. So, I'll try." He finished.
Lucien stood up, slightly woozy still, but mostly recovered. He walked over to Kazuya, and knelt down in front of him, facing him fully. Now that they were at the same level, Lucien looked him in the eyes as he outstretched his left hand, touching the ground with his fingertips, and then mirroring the action with his right hand. Bowing deeply, for a good five seconds, he raised up again, taking his left hand back in his lap before leaning up, letting his right hand trail back to the lap as he straightened his spine.
"Thank you, Kazuya. I'm glad to help you in your training."

"... Take it one step at a time, Lucien. Do what you can now, the rest will follow in time. It took many years for me to acquire the discipline to empty my mind and sharpen my focus, it will all come in time, even with your disorder. If you are ever in need of aid, or simply wish to have someone to listen to you, you simply need to stop by my dojo."
As soon as Lucien straightened up from his deep and respectful bow, Kazuya would clap the young Crow on his shoulder and nod at him, telling Lucien that Kazuya believed in him, and that he would do just fine.
"No, thank you. You have great potential inside you Lucien, and that potential is just waiting to grow and be unleashed. The Crows have an excellent member for their gang in you, never forget that."
Releasing Lucien's shoulder, Kazuya would straighten up, pulling the blindfold out of his pocket, and hold it out to Lucien.
"... Train your senses as well, Lucien, for there may come a day when your senses will not help you."
Once Lucien took the blindfold from him, Kazuya would bow his head slightly to him, before taking his leave, back to his home in the heart of Dragon Territory.
