OOC: This takes place just after the thread " Reclaiming my house and just before the thread All conquerors start somewhereThe location is the north side of Huntington Park, just north of Dragon territory. Jack roared as his mace slammed into the wall turning concrete into mere rubble. The sound was deafening and echoed for miles, the few people in the intermediate area huddled in their houses terrified to leave. He had fought a battle here the previous week and after much blood shed his company came out on top and his contract had been fulfilled. "You've set me this impossible task which was doomed from the beginning" Continuing his monologue aimed at his invisible master. Unbeknownst to anyone and everything around him. "How can I achieve what those greater than I could never reach".Spinning he released his mace, the chain launched out of the handle and ball as it turned into a morning star. He roared, as the chain grew longer than it had ever grown before extending the length to over three meters as he cleaver a wall in half. Mid way the ball had finished expanding to it's full size causing the wall to simply explode. As if a bomb had hit it. Debris flew up into the air and came down like a light rain.Spitting as he continued forward the chain retracting, ball shrinking. It sort of followed him like a snake slithering along the ground. Eventually it came to it's resting position. "Damn you for abandoning me! Damn you for never finishing my training! Damn you to the deepest depths of hell!" [/ul]

"Ah, you again. Wonderful."
David stood a ways behind the man, in the entryway to the building Jack was in. He had heard the loud shattering of cement and cries of civilians. This, he did not like. He had his hands in his pockets, eyes on the mace, his sword sticking up over his shoulder like a spire. He would let out a light sigh.
"Mind toning down the testosterone a bit? Your scaring the children."
He was attempting to be nice about it, but was not above putting the man down and relocating him as necessary. Under his sweater, his weights hugged his form, bogging him down- but even then, he believed he could handle the pressure.
OOC: Sorry for the short/lame post, and thanks for the patience.

Jack roared at the sound of the one man he did not want to see or hear. The mere mention of David Blaze enraged him, something a few subordinates learned all too well. Jack spun instantly, extending his hand forward and releasing his mace so the chain uncoiled itself and the ball shot forward at a blinding speed. "DAVID BlAZE, STORM DRAGON!" [/ul]

David's eyebrows raised.
His house-?
The ball would fly at him, and in a lightning quick reflex of his own, David would whip the blade out from over his shoulder, blocking the ball to a crunching sound of metal and grinding noises. He would be forced back a little, maybe a few inches, before he continued.
"Your house or not, your disrupting the peace and it's pissing me off. Take a walk, clear your head. Or i'll have to slap you around again, kid."
David would hold the katana at his side, waiting for the man to either press the attack, or talk like a civilized human being.

Lifting his cleaver up as he pointed it at David. "This is not your territory fiend, these are not your people I suggest you leave." Pointing with his cleaver to the way David had come. "Tonight is not the night for your death." His threat was clear, if David chose to stay Jack would try and kill him. "Leave me, Dragon" [/ul]

David smirked.
"I'm not trying to disturb you- your disturbing twelve blocks with your hulk smash routine. As for me dying- I think we both know that's nothing I need to worry about. How about we take a walk? Or you can try, again, to kill me. And fail."
David rolled his shoulders, tilting his head to the side. He didn't pay any attention to the threats. He was the Damn Storm Dragon- if someone didn't threaten his life at least once a day, he wasn't doing his job.

Jack spat as he clipped his mace to his belt and reached for a cigarette packet. Tapping the packet he moved his mouth to the one cigarette sticking out. Lightning the cigarette and taking a long drag. "Fate failed not I, that building should have killed us both. Now move depending on how this little gay walk goes will make me decide on whether or not I'll kill you." As much as he hated to admit it there were a handful of people in this world you had to listen to and David was one who both deserved it and demanded it. Jack's cause of death would not be through folly of youth, if that happened Phoenix would chase him to the depths of hell, find a way to revive him and kill him again. Jack took a step toward David his cleaver still in his grip, his mace clipped away. He stopped two meters away from David both of them within striking distance. "After you"[/ul]

He laughed.
Was that what the kid told himself to help him sleep at night? He said nothing on it. The fellow knew who, in the end, would have beaten who- he didn't need it rubbed it his face. David glqnced down at the mans cleaver and smiled calmly, sheating his blade- and turned his back on the fellow. It was the basic show of a warrior- without words, David stated simply "You don't scare me."
He would stuff his hands in his pockets, the air about them moving in such a way that he could keep track of Jacks movements easily- if he attacked, David could respond as though he had been watching the whole time. This was not something he could turn off. Waiting just outside the door, David would continue once he saw the man would follow.
He walked quietly for one block- two. Jack would notice that the direction David led him in had less and less people. By the time they stopped, which would be about a mile or so from where they started, nobody would be around. David would stop and turn.
"So. Sonic Dragon, eh? What's with the tantrum?"

Jack's words were spat at David, certainly his actions were bordering insubordination. "What may I ask is your business with me today Mr Blaze?" [/ul]

David laughed.
"Of course you can vent, kid. Just stop blowing up buildings and scaring kids while you do so! For instance, some constructive venting might be to spar with someone, alone. Like, right now."
He held his arms out at his sides, showing the area around them.
"No civilians. No casualities. A perfect place to let off some steam. So how about me and you have a little throw-down, see who could really kill who, if they wanted?"
Obviously, he meant it to be non lethal. Weaponless, just the two of them scraping elbows and, as he said, letting of some steam. He would wait to see Jacks response.

Jack launched himself at David. His stance was a mixed one, feet were shoulder width apart his hands raised and palms facing out , shoulders slightly raised and all his weight on the balls of his feet. An opening attack which consisted of a jab, right cross and jab aimed for David's face, in order to get his guard up. Each time Jack took ground (distance between them) or maintained ground staying on the edge of his strike zone (the radius of which Jack can attack and hit David). After the first exchange took place Jack would back away and wait for the briefest of moments. He was taking a new angle of attack on David. "One"Whispered the Australian softly as he finished his opening combo. His composure needed to be kept calm if he was to have any chance of beating the leader of the Dragons. Jack had been keeping close tabs on his progress to recovery since the last time they fought and he was confident that he had grown strong enough to fight this man on equal terms. Stepping back in Jack continued the same attack, launching the left jab and right straight in the same patter. Instead of a second left jab however as his left first began to rotate clockwise and move forward he cocked it back lurched to his right and launched a left hook aimed for David's right rib cage as he moved around the man. "Two"A soft whisper was all he let out as he continued his dance trying to move as far around David as possible. Launching a first fast and light jab which had very little weight behind it and was designed for speed. Rocking only slightly forward as he let the first jab. Following it up only once he had moved about thirty degrees around to David's right. Another jab would be launched identical to the first one followed by one more when he completely moved ninety degrees to his right. Having stepped to his right and opening up his hips Jack used his front left foot as a pivoting point to generate the necessary momentum to launch a low right round house designed to take David's legs out. By moving out to his right and at an angle Jack increased their distance from his punching range to just outside of David's strike range. This was just playing to Jack's strengths the distance in their strike radius were marginal but that was a strength Jack was going to use. "Three"[/ul]

David watched the man come forward- a grin on his lips. The fellow was stronger. And faster. Good, he would need it. The first three attacks landed, without a raising of the guard. Curiosity, they said, was a cat killer. Of course, he was only a little curious, and indecisive about his own attack patterns without fully knowing Jacks capabilities. His head would take the light jab without so much as a shrug before the cross came in, causing his head to whip the other way as the next jab struck home. He stumbled back a step or two, sliding in the rubble to a stop as dirt kicked up behind his ankles. He turned his eyes back to Jack, a little blood on his teeth as he smiled. The whisper was not lost on him- he was a master of the wind, and could carry sound for miles, if he wanted. He would simply gesture for the man to come forward, lazily. The fellow attacked again, and again David didn't reciprocate an assault- the jab struck, then the cross followed by the wind being driven from him as a blow hit his ribcage, causing him to again stumble, this time to the side. The leg sweep struck out, though this time David simply moved his stumbling backward, and out of the way. He came to a stop, about fifteen feet from Jack, as the man counted to three. He reached up and flicked two clasps on his shoulders, then one from behind his back. From under his shirt, what looked like a bullet-proof vest fell out. It hit the cement hard, cracks erupting around it. From his arms, he flipped two more clasps, wrist guards smashing into the cement as well. If, during this time, Jack attacked, David would simply fly into the air, while he removed his armor, or what appeared to be armor. As the ones on hi calves fell, he would let out a sigh and lower himself to the ground, cracking his neck and removing his jacket. He would then give a red, bloody grin. " Alright, I've seen how you've grown. I'm ready to begin." He would bring up his fists, putting his left leg back into a standard fighting stance as he would wait for the man to attack once more. As the man danced in, David lowered his hands and stepped into the punches, lunging forward and lowering his gaurd so that Jacks punch would hit- the kid had a fist to him, but now David felt he could take it. David would also be stepping into jacks range, and by lurching forward as he did, should be able to proceed as planned fairly unchallenged. David would attempt to bring his hands up, under And inside Jacks guard, to grip the behind the mans head with both hands in a standard muai thai clinch.
From there the Storm Dragon would begin bringing up knees, using his muscles to move Jacks body left and right between those knees in order to keep his center of gravity and balance destabilized.
