[OOC: Considering I still don't know too too much about things.. This is wide open. And anyone who posts can set the setting for anywhere in the city they like.. Umm if you wish to add conflict somewhere that's fine.. I'm pretty flexible.. Just give me a heads up if it's something major..]
An air of familiarity surrounded the area in which a lone figure walked. Every other gust of wind was harsh and sharp, blowing her chestnut brown hair wildly. Each taken step was unsure. Untrusted. Almost as if fearful that the ground beneath her was going to crumble. Hazel-green orbs shifted side to side, up and around trying to take in the scenery from the alley way she was half way out of. She couldn't gather how she got her to begin with. Her mind was feeling as if it was in a state of imprisonment. Limbo. Unable to determine if she was really awake or was she asleep. Eury had never felt so flummoxed. If it wasn't for her years of training she would undoubtedly be much more frantic. The wind howled again, passing through her tattered clothes. Her arms wrapped around form as she shivered lightly. Face, hands, arms smeared with dirt and blood. What had she been through? An answer Eury would be unable to give anyone if they asked. Attempting to remember was doing far more harm than good. The more she pushed her mind, the more it hurt. Her head was starting to spin in all directions to the point she was no longer able to retain her usual impeccable balance. Gravity now took control drawing her body towards the wall. Out of sheer instinct, her left hand quickly shot out to catch herself. Head hanging low resting against the inner part of her arm.
~...Breathe....Inhale....Exhale...Just breathe.....~
Slowly her head rose just as she thought about why she wasn't home with her family. But she couldn't move forward from that one memory. The last memory. As if it was frozen in place. Frustration was seeping into her. Flowing through her veins like her own blood. Her left fist clenched tightly ready to lift and bang against the concrete wall. But there was a low rumble in the air. Curiously she looked up at the blackening sky. With a load crash of thunder the heavens opened up. Rain pouring down.
~...Great..Just fucking great...~
First confused. Now frustrated and soaking wet. Things just couldn't get any better could they? Eury didn't even bother running for cover. Lazily turning around, her back falling against the wall. Head titled back. Eyes shut, letting the rain bring her some form of calm. Rain or the ocean tended to do that for her. But the dilemma behind this is all was she wasn't sure if she was really still in California. Even though it kind of looked like it. If she was then what happened? But there was that other nagging question deep in the back of her mind again. Was she awake or asleep? She just needed a moment to gather herself. To take control of her thoughts. Yet these down times are never known to last are they? When does peace ever last for more than a few moments?[/color][/ul] |

Rai had been on his way back home on this dark day he had brought a long black cloak to wear to stop the chill of the air. Then the skies suddenly seemed angry as they let loose the booming sound of thunder followed by a torrent of rain drops.
Well this day just get lovelier by the second doesn't it?
He formed a black umbrella from his blood and held it over his head, he didn't recognize this area, he must have taken a wrong turn due to the darkness.
I really need to invest in a GPS...
Rai would think to himself with a chuckle. Looking around he would try to see if he could find where he needed to go when something odd caught his eye. It appeared to be a woman wearing tattered clothes just standing in the rain. He would quickly run over to her holding up the umbrella to get her out of the rain.
"Ma'am are you ok?"
He looked over her and noticed she looked to be a little cold and sick. Then taking off the cloak he would offer it to her. Who was this woman...

[/i] The rain was supposed to be soothing, despite the constant rumble from the skies. Yet the pitter patter of the heavy droplets on nearby barrels and dumpsters, were only adding to her annoyance. And Eury never got annoyed so quickly. This was indeed a rarity. It was becoming readable on her face. The emotion making her brows frown in a highly displeasing manner. For a few moments being cold was merely a passing thought, till the wind howled through her clothes once more. Gripping herself the rain had abruptly stopped falling on her, but was falling around her? ~..Huh?..~=="Ma'am are you ok?"== Hazel-green orbs opened to darkness over her. An umbrella of some sort shielding her frame. A concerned voice before her. Eury looked at him quizzically, eying the cloak presented to her. Now she didn't know this person so there was a slim chance that was dreaming. After all dreaming up someone you don't know? Bah. Eury was always cautious of those she came in contact with. Nice or not. Sadly right now wasn't the time to be so picky was it? She was cold, tired, frustrated and highly confused. Though tired or not her strength wasn't gone, so she hoped he didn't try anything foolish. She was a fighter always. Never been one to go out so easily. Too stubborn for that. Letting out a soft sigh of relief; yet still adhering to caution; she reached with her left a bit unsteadily grabbing the cloak. She brought it close to her body so it covered her front. Again she looked at him making eye contact this time. Her speech was soft, a bit of weariness behind it. "...Well I'm standing here hoping this isn't some dream or delusion I'm having cause that would really suck... I want to say yes, but I'ma go with a I'm not so sure.."[/font][/color][/ul] |

Rai was glad she accepted his cloak but gave her a quizzical look at her answer. But he would smile a warm smile as he scratched at his head.
"Well I can guarantee that you aren't dreaming or delusional."
He would look into her eyes there was something familiar about them but what he didn't know.
"Well if you don't mind, I would like to stick around with you for awhile to make sure you are alright, I don't want someone with any bad intentions finding you in this state. Oh! I'm sorry I almost forgot! My name is Raikotsu Sudeki, my friend call me Rai for short. What is your name miss?"
Rai held out a hand to offer a handshake still smiling.

[/i] Eury shook her head a little, blinking away her crazy thoughts. If she wasn't crazy in some way she was surely starting to make herself be that way. For now; till she truly believed otherwise; she would agree with the stranger before her. Wind sung. Lightning and rain danced. Thunder drummed. Like a production. Though not one she wanted to currently take part in. The light show created a little gleam to shine from her left hand. Her ring she never took off unless necessary. She couldn't help the smirk that crawled on her face at the beginning of his speech. ~Person's with bad intentions...Oh how I've come across many of those in my life time.. It's the story of... Wait. What? What did he just say? Raikotsu Sudeki?..~Oh how that name was ringing some bells. But it wasn't immediately hitting her, well his last name did. He was however starting to look more familiar. Her right brow perked with interest along with her body coming to stand up straight. Cocking her head a little to the left, she curiously spoke. "...Raikotsu Sudeki..."Accepting his handshake, she continued with the same tone. "...Eurydice...Sudeki....Tell me that stubborn knucklehead Leon is still alive.."Cause in her mind if he wasn't then she was probably having a really bad nightmare. Kind of odd thinking at the moment. Then again she had her odd times.[/font][/color][/ul] |

As soon as she said that last name Rai froze staring at her. Thats why she looked so familiar but...
"You're dead..."
Rai remembered her vaguely before he went off to the amazon but she was one of the many that had died at the massacre at the temple...
"You... Eurydice, Uncle Leons wife?! It can't be..."
Rai's good eye was wide. Still frozen in place.

[/i] Eury looked over herself. Dirt. Blood. Tattered clothes. No recollection of how she got here, where-ever here was. Wait a minute.. ~...I died? When the hell did I die?!.. Did I crawl out of a grave?! Am I a zombie?! Do they really exist?.... I don't feel like a mindless drone... Am I a ghost? Does that make him a medium?! A shaman?! OOkkk.. let's pause for a moment..~Outside their was a placid expression. Inside however the usual calm Eury was having a minor personal freak out moment. Her mind needed to breathe. Needed to start thinking rationally instead of those silly irrational thoughts. Sure she could be super playful but right now there was some serious pressing matters. Rai mention Uncle Leon. That's right... Eury began to recall his face. That's why there was a sense of familiarity with him. Confirmation number one: she wasn't a spirit. Confirmation number two: he wasn't a shaman cause he wouldn't be surprised to see her alive if she was dead. Cause he'd know the difference. Right? But those words 'You're dead' wasn't sitting to well in her stomach. It made her wonder about her kids. Her tone was evenly calm, but questioning as she replied. "...Yes, that Eurydice...What do you mean I'm dead? When did this happen?.. Clearly I'm alive... What happened, Rai? Are they ok?.. Leon, Spike, Lana, Elena?.."If he believed her to be dead something terrible must've happened.[/ul][/color][/font] |

Rai's mind would be racing, he would let go of her hand but continue to stare at her confused.
"I mean... We thought you had died... weren't you at the temple when the Katashi attacked?! Everyone there died with a few exceptions, but we searched for more than a year with no signs of you or your daughters... We though you to be dead..."
Rai had a sudden spark and begin shifting his gaze all over the immediate area looking for something.
"Are they here as well? Do you know where Lana and Elena are?!"
Rai was having a conflict of emotions right now he didn't even know what he was feeling.

[/i] she remembered clearly. Running off on her wedding day to save him and his family, even though she was told to stay. The burning mansion collapsing. Saving Elena. Funny she had lost her memory after that, yet remembers that now. Great but can't remember anything that happened in the past year. Seriously again? Wait..what? ~A year? Searching for a year?.. The Katashi attacked the temple? Wait, wait..my daughters are missing?..~Eury watched as his eye darted to and fro, almost in a frantic search. Her head was pounding as she was trying to force a memory of anything he said into her brain. Her expression outwardly remained unchanged. Training kicking in. Don't let your inner emotions show. Don't let your eyes betray your thoughts. But how couldn't she? This was her family. There was far too many emotions fluttering around at once that she had gotten a bit dizzy. That wasn't the only reason for it though. Something she hadn't paid any mind to before, didn't even bother noticing till now. A wound to her right side currently covered by Rai's cloak was still bleeding. Probably was bleeding the whole way, the rain soaking her body would've diminished that moist feeling. Gravity again pulled her back against the wall with a slight thud. Again calmly she spoke, though her voice was more of a whisper this time. A little to do with her state and some to do with her controlling her anger. "Slow down tiger... You don't know where my girls are?...You searched for a year..and just gave up...It must be over a year then.. Fucking hell...I have no idea what you're talking about..."The storm was only starting to get worse.[/font][/color][/ul] |

"I'm sorry I guess there's a lot that needs to be discussed right now."
He noticed how she thudded back into the wall and reached out to hold her shoulder with his free hand.
"Hey whats wrong?"
He would asked concerned.

"...I really need to sit...A shower...And clearly some medical attention..We can chat and walk...Or when we get wherever..."She really didn't want to show herself being weak. She was trying to stay as strong as possible, but her body was completely betraying her. Who knows how long that wound had been bleeding for. Having not rested clearly wasn't any help. And this raging storm would make it a difficult commute.[/font][/ul][/color] |

Then everything stopped in his mind as he remembered what he had in his pocket. He reached in and pulled out his candy tear from his pocket. He then offered her the small blue tear shaped candy.
"Here eat this it'll make you feel better."
(Ooc: Candy Tears This candy is a light blue, and in the shape of a tear drop. It can easily be consumed in a single bite and seems to almost melt in the ingesters mouth. This candy can heal most minor wounds from cuts, and bruises, to concussions or internal bleeding. Muscles will even mend themselves after ingesting. Heals small wounds up to ripped muscles. +5 Con For thread ingested in.)

[/b] Candy? From a stranger? Kilk and even Mr. Stark taught her never take candy from a stranger! No matter how appetizing it may seem! Damn candy was one of her weakness though. Usually made her light up like a Christmas tree. But candy was going to make her feel better right now? That was not enough candy! It would take much more for that wonderful sugar rush! >.> Ok. But Rai wasn't a stranger technically. Well not too much of a stranger. Eury loved candy, and if the thing she loved could make her feel better why the hell not? Slowly she removed it from his hand with her left, staring at it for a moment. "You sure?"At his point of confirmation she would eat this teardrop candy. ~Hmm..like M & M's! Melts in your mouth not in you hand! This actually tastes pretty good...~Her body began to feel a hell of a lot better than previously. What kind of candy was this? It's like a drug. Hold the phone Eury doesn't do drugs! They can be addicting! Negative mister! Shall not get addicted! "What in the world did you give me? I actually feel a lot better.."It showed as her posture got more straightened against the wall. And her eyes weren't so low. Her voice no longer a whisper.[/ul][/font][/color] |

Seeing her return to normal and looking a lot better he was more relaxed, even despite the storm around him.
"Its called a Candy Tear. Uncle Leon was the first to introduce them to me. They are medicinal, though unlike typical drugs, have no negative effects. They are pretty special in the fact that they can cure almost anything."
Rai offered his hand again.
"But we can talk about that and more once we get out of this storm, best get you somewhere dry before you start feeling sick again. That was my last one for a while so lets get you back to my Uncle, I'm sure he'll be happy to se-... It'll be good for him to know you're back."
Rai immediately felt bad at the thought that Leon would literally never be able to SEE her again... Or will he... Rai's mind began to race but he calmed down the thoughts for a later time.

She was a perceptive person and she quickly noted his sudden pause and change in sentence. Eury suspiciously looked at him. "..What was that?.. That change in your speech...You were about to say 'happy to see me', but you stopped.."Most people would let things like slip on by like it was nothing. But not Eury. Whenever he began walking she would walk beside him waiting for that answer. Her look was almost demanding a response.[/ul][/font][/color] |
