He berated himself inside for letting something like that come out... its not that he was trying to keep it a secret but so much had happened since she had been gone and he didn't know how she would react.
"I do know where I'm going, I was actually leaving the same place as we are going back too... As far as my change in tone... I think thats something that Leon himself would rather tell you..."
He hoped that would satisfy her curiosity...

He would think for a moment while they were walking, he knew it must be hard for her, he couldn't even begin to imagine where she was coming from...

[/i] Well of course not. He was right in some way. She couldn't recall anything and it did hurt when she tried. It is a possibility that her forcibly trying to remember could break her mind. Something she really didn't want to happen. When she was much younger; before ever meeting Leon; she snapped killing her bastard of a father. Was she ever sorry for that? No. Did she ever want to snap again? No. It always worried her, cause she never wanted to hurt the people she loved. It was a secret fear. Something she didn't even tell Leon. Rai sighed a sigh of relief. Thankful that he wouldn't be the one that would have to explain Leon's blindness and... and Aryn... Don't even want to think how thats gonna turn out...
"Well you could say that I guess. I've just had a lot of training recently that has helped realize that some information shouldn't be shared, or at least not from me."

Otherwise she might be going on a rampage real soon. Eury was certainly one you didn't want as an enemy. Yes light hearted at times. Understanding to an extent. By no means was she the most ruthless person one could ever meet. No, even she knew there were far worse people out there. But she could have cruel intentions if pushed there. And messing with her family was a strong push. "So you're like bad juju or something?"She looking forward finally cracking a real smile, showing it was merely a joke. A worn out magazine on the ground grabbed her attention, freezing her completely in place. It was a parenting magazine with a mother and newborn happily on the cover. For the first time in their encounter Eury's most inner emotion showed. Her left hand slowly rested on her stomach in a horrible revelation. She was pregnant in that memory. Three months. She practically went into shock staring at this cover on the ground. ~...No...~Her hand was trembling. Gripping her tattered shirt tighter and tighter. She didn't want to believe it. But she had no choice. It was true. There was no alternate reality to it. Anger was building behind it. Yet she wanted to cry but she wouldn't allow the tears not right now. Rai saw her freeze as she stared at the ground and she seemed to undergo some kind of inner turmoil but he couldn't tell why.
"Eury! Whats wrong talk to me!"
Rai would try to look into her eyes to see if there was some indication of what might possibly be going on.

More or less wanting to get to their destination quicker so that Leon could tell since Rai was inclined to leave her in the dark about certain things. But she did need some form of comfort despite her current prickly disposition as she began to walk almost without him. Like she knew where they were going. Of course she didn't but she couldn't stand still anymore she needed to move. To do something. Hell to even hit something.[/color][/font][/ul] |

Rai didn't know how to react to what she said and before he could even THINK of something to say she had started walking off again. Though how she knew where she was going Rai didn't have a clue and so just in case went to get in front of her again and lead her the right way.
"Listen... I wish I had an answer for you. Any kind of an answer, but alas I do not... But Leon isn't the type to go rampant over something like this, and if he does it will not be towards you..."
Rai wasn't sure how much his words meant but he hoped she'd listen at least partially to what he said as they neared Dragon Territory.
