Sealed orders had been sent to the young one Yachiru. The pink hair child that showed up at the meeting, and who was made a Dragon by his young apprentice Rai. Rai had been taken a lot of liberties, but liberties were allowed as long as they continued to pan out. He had made progress with the Crows, and has begun to prove himself. But his judgement with people has still been questionable, and so Mathew felt it was prudent to see just what this... child could do.
He was waiting outside the Dragon bank, his main forward base inside the Dragon territory. Chosen for it's proximity to Barker's lands. At least before they began to push back against the boarders. And it was shaping up to be a formidable stronghold. Under his eye soldiers were currently doing drills and the walls were being reinforced. It would be faster if he did it true, but he wasn't in a hurry, and labor could build character.
It just wasn't the only way to build and judge character. And the laborers were not the ones that would be judged today.

Yachiru gazed at the 'bank' as it were. Quite a sizable building. she saw workers reinforcing the walss and decided it would be safe enough to approach the building. she walked forward towards the main entrance.

And there she was. The pink hair was not the best thing for avoiding notice. That was for sure. He wondered if she even noticed Mathew. Well, there was only really one way to find out. Mathew cracked his neck before stomping his foot in to the ground, sending ripples of Qi energy through the ground before it erupted in to a thin pillar shooting for the young girl.

Yachiru had seen something on the ground and bent over to pick it up.
*woosh* What the hell was that?!
She looked up and saw Mathew standing there.
"Greetings Elder Mathew, I received summons to meet you here?"

Okay, that was just pure luck. Pure blind, really dumb luck. Mathew scowled at the little girl and the pillar that had missed it's mark. Touching it and crumbling it to dust. He looked her over again and folded his arms in front of his chest as he tried to stare her down.
"Stand at attention solider."
He barked out, just because he could. He wanted to see how fast she would fall in to line. He didn't like her being an actual soldier. To energetic. So he wanted to see if she would crack easy, or if she was worth keeping around. For now.

Yachiru looked around quizzically. "Where is it? Attention is a code word right?" She tried looking for any sort of marker on the ground. She was raised in an orphanage, Yachiru has no idea what attention is or even what a militant organization would look like.

This child could not be serious. Disbelief was clear on his face. How had someone been inducted in to the Dragons and not even know something as simple as that! Rai was due to be punched in the schnozz again!
He strode forward and grabbed her by the hand, moved it in to a salute. Pushed her shoulders back, lifted chin up and took a step back.
"Straighten you back. Stand up straight and proud."

And Mathew would make her stand there. For ten minutes before finally giving her the all good to leave attention. If she broke it before the order he would slam his foot down and send a pillar that was as wide as a baseball shooting for her stomach.

Yachiru had practice staying in one position for an extended period of time, so this wasnt all that difficult. "So what did you need help with?"

He was mildly impressed that she stayed in one position without shifting or breaking form that long! That showed discipline. That was a good sign.
"I didn't see your jump in, so I want to see your value for myself. I want to see that you can handle yourself in and out of combat. And that you are ready to represent us as a sister. I want to know that I can trust you with my life, and I want you to know I am capable of protecting yours."

Yachiru got into a fighting stance and got ready for a fight, just then a slow gurgling sound would be heard coming up from her stomach making its way up through her esophgus Throat. Her burp was very loud but that wasn't even the impressive part. The impressive part was the large blue fire-ball that shot upwards as a result of her burp. "oop-sey"

Well then, the fire breath was a good sign, and good to know. That could have been a nasty surprise that ruined his hair day. He would make sure to watch for that. And as she was excusing herself Mathew was rushing forward, taking a small hop before reaching her as his knee lifted up. Normally he would be kneeing a stomach, but she was pretty young and short. So the knee was likely going to be much closer to her face.
Oh well! Not his problem. Think fast Yachiru!
