And the Kraken would reviel his Qi, as visible blue tendrils four in total would expand from his elbows and knees to swing at and destroy the pillars as they came at him, having picked up the spikes on his elbows and knee's as extended spear weapons, The Kraken's smile became bigger, but only slightly.

"Very well."

The Kraken would move towards Mathew bringing his arms to his sides, but the tendrils flipping up and above the Kraken like scorpion tails, while the ones on his knee's went to the sides, opening the middle completely. The first left knee tendril would swing out in a whip like motion, not aiming to pierce as the spikes would suggest, but to slap Mathew's legs.

Mathew being on the ground already from the sweep and stomp rolled back to avoid the tendril whipping at him. The stone rising up under him and lifting him up on a platform around the Kraken. Stomping on the pillar he stood upon to send a hunk of stone shooting at the Kraken he pushed himself off of the pillar to try and leap behind the Kraken.

His impact sending more pillars shooting back at the Kraken as he turned around to face him. The stone he kept wrapped around his body shooting out of his sleeves as blades ready to defend against the sure to come tendril counter attack. Probably with the blades...
