"Eh, don't let the prick fool ya. He's blind but he sees more than he lets on."

He said offering no response to any of her other comments other than a wink when she went off about how awesome her breasts were. He wasn't about to deny that, taken or not he could still appreciate the artwork. Though he had absolutely no interest in Aryn. When compared to his Bastille she was just a pale comparison. But he could see what other men saw in her.

"You doing alright Rai?"

Again, he never cared about how his apprentices were doing. But he just smirked and gave him a hard slap on the back.

"Don't worry, everything is going as it should."

Aryn's grin was returned with a small one which had been quickly coupled by a perked brow as Eury felt the arm around her shoulders. The light force drawing her in, causing the usually well balanced female to miss a step. Quickly she found her footing falling in perfect unison with Aryn. Though for a moment her mind shouted UNAUTHORIZED TOUCHING. It might've been more friendly - nothing inappropriate - but she had always been that way do to a thing or two in her past. Hell it took awhile before she was fully comfortable with Leon's touch. But right now her body didn't give off that quick passing mental thought. Eury had been looking ahead until the brunette's following statement caused her eyes to slowly view her through her peripherals.

~Hmm..of course..Can't really say I didn't see that coming... Nope not surprised at all...Actually I quite expected it....Though all that time indulging himself could've been spent on finding the girls..~

A smirk appeared on her face as a statement slipped from her lips ever so nonchalantly.

"Father of the year huh."

Her statement honestly didn't give much of anything away other than she knew he had kids. Eury even chuckled lightly afterwards. Eury was a clever one too. And had years of gauging her emotions. Whatever any of them were hoping for they might be sadly disappointed. Though she certainly didn't deny Aryn's cleverness in making an attempt at it. But again to say, Eury wasn't fully herself. Maybe she might've been a little upset if at this point she really cared about herself in this. But she didn't. She wasn't. Not in the slightest. The smirk on her face remained until the mention that he was blind. Her face turned into a quizzical expression.

~How the hell?...When the hell did that happen?..Something to ask him...I rather find out everything from the source anyways...~

Then Mathew's words followed changing Eury's expression again. Still looking from her peripherals, she shot a look at him. Before returning forward and simply shaking her head. She realized immediately the things he was doing. Geez Eury's expressions changed like the Dodecahedron. Phantom Tollbooth reference anyone? Even with changing expressions nothing was given away to anything that she felt, if anything. Correction she did feel something. She felt bad not being around for him when he become blind and not being their for her kids. Sickness and health, right? But then again it wasn't her fault. She didn't run away. Hell maybe she did for all she knows. If so then why? No. There isn't a reason she could think of to abandon him or her family. Rai said there was an attack and thought she was dead. Whatever, sooner or later she'll remember. Right now, she focused on the task at hand.

"Sooo..how much more of this journey are we taking? Feels like forever."

Even toned and to the point. After all her scarf was getting ridiculously long in this travel. Well if she had one =(. Journey reference? Only thing she hoped for was that they wouldn't go spoil the surprise without letting her voice ring out first.[/ul][/font][/color]

Leon still in court, they'd hopefully walked inside and up to the top by now. And at that moment.

They'd walk in as Leon's hand went completely through a mans chest, blood spilling all around them as the man choked out his last few breaths, shaking violently from the mix of pain and numbing blood loss. Leon would pull his hand from the man letting him fall to the ground as some more Lightning Soldiers went to cleaning the mess and moving the body.

"Let it be known! Barker Spies die without question."

He didn't bother cleaning the blood from his right arm. Though his head did turn to 'look' at the group of strong individuals through his sun glasses. Waving his not so bloody hand he dismissed the court and the people that usually stood in line began to disperse.

Rai just looked at Mathew with an expression that stated, You are enjoying this way too much.

As they entered the room and witnessed the spy's death Rai shook his head as the group of people started leaving.

"You always do like to have a show don't you uncle?"

Rai chuckled for a second before getting more serious.

"I've found Her."

That was all Rai would say. He didn't know if Leon would know who he was talking about but, he figured that, that was all the information he needed to share, and Mathew or Eury could explain further.

It was really too bad Eury didn't know that Aryn had only been around for, what? Five months? Maybe six? And Barker had played Risk with the world a couple years back. But Aryn wasn't about to say. She was just here to stir the pot in an attempt to figure out what was going on before she was blindsided.

And man, the woman she had her arm wrapped around? Catty. Aryn was aware of Spike though she had never met the almost-teenager. But more? She had no clue, otherwise, exactly. It hadn't been something that came up. Some things you just didn't need to know; and for most people, losing those you loved to Barker was just begging to dredge up some kind of storm.

Besides...Aryn wasn't fooling herself, still.

"I'll keep that in mind. Currently I'm more exploring than refining...but regardless of whether it's right when I strike or before, it would still be a surprise."

She gently patted Eury's shoulder, surprisingly thoughtful. She didn't answer her question of whether they were there yet. Obviously this was someone from Leon's past who knew he had a son. And considering Mathew's antics and Rai's almost sullen behaviour...

Well. Her suspicions were looking to be likely possibilities.

...and she wasn't sure how she felt about it.

She turned them in to the main area that Leon held his court in, and--oop!--and there went someone's life. A Barker Spy? Well hot damn.

"Not so much a show than a statement, kiddo."

Eury would grace her with another smile and a nudge to answer the pat on the shoulder. It was too bad Eury didn't know about certain things. But shit happens right? You know like losing ones memories of god knows how long. It's just really peachy. Twice now this has happened. Yet at this point all that past that was previously shielded is reopened. BUT now a new gap has appeared. Wonderful. Shit like that just doesn't make any logical sense. But what really did at this point? There were things Eury needed to know and then there were things she probably didn't. Let alone probably didn't want nor care to. Eury damn near forgot her manners as they got nearer to Leon. She had never formally introduced herself to Aryn. Then again neither had she. Eury only gathered her name from Mathew calling out. Cautiously Eury tilted her head towards the other brunette, quietly speaking for her own ears.

"Sorry for my lack of manners...Must've forgotten them too.. Names Eurydice.."

With that she would fall back into posture just in time to see the spies quick and painful death. Though it was rather a gracious death when one thought about it. Quick and painful or prolonged and painful. The man should be glad. Eury smiled and shook her head realizing how much he hadn't changed in that aspect. That temper. Now Rai's next statement would bring Eury to look at him.

~Still we are playing a game, huh? Ok.. I'll go along.~

If Eury hadn't been giving too much away, Mathew and Rai were giving it all. A little immature and inappropriate? From Mathew sure. Rai seemed more like a child wishing the bad dream would fade away. Though Mathew's enjoyment had to be expected no? It was water under the bridge at this point. But Eury had her feelings about Aryn's involvement and that's what made the situation a bit weary. Not really for herself, but honestly if her small assessment of Aryn's fiery persona based on her first impression was right. Well then it's friends or foes. Or frienemies. Well that was for later. Right now, Eury would look at Leon. Noting the shades. She never recalled seeing him dawn any type. They looked good. Silently she stared wondering if it was possible he could still pick her out in a crowd. It sucked to play hide and seek with him.[/font][/ul][/color]

Leon's senses went into a huge overdrive trying to piece together everything. And for a split second the electricity in the entire tower would flicker before he stood and approached quietly. He stayed that way for a few moments wishing he could see this moment to analyze it correctly.

"H-ho-... Where?"

He finally got out a question. He was visibly tense, there were so many emotions he couldn't even pick some to feel or show he was feeling. Right now, Leon was lost to the past two years. The battle at the Sudeki temple where so many of his kin had been lost, daughters, brothers, cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was in so much shock he couldn't even bring himself to cry.

"Eh, hey, no problem. Name's Aryn, but I'm guessing you got it already."

Between Eury and Leon's clear reaction, Aryn just stayed quiet, keeping her arm looped around the woman's body. Not quite comforting, given the circumstances, but stabilizing, nevertheless. Vivid green eyes scrutinized Leon, and her lips twisted into a mild frown.

Well, she was all for a love story, but it was different when you were in an awkward position between the two lovebirds. The flicker of the electrical current caused her eyes to twitch towards the lights. If Eury wanted to go, she wouldn't find Aryn holding her back. Her gaze returned to Leon and she stood, eyebrow raised.

'Partnership, huh? ...whalp, at least I didn't delude myself. That'd be a mess..~'

So she would watch, for now, and see how this would pan out.

Any reactions from there? Hard to tell. Everything just depended on outside factors. And truth be told, Aryn was a little curious. And juicy bits'n'pieces were always good.

Aryn might not have been holding her in place but she may as well have been. Her gaze shifted away from Leon and down to the ground. Searching for an answer. Searching for why in some way was she being so cold. That in itself was odd. The fact that she was even recognizing her own icy demeanor. Maybe it was because she was more upset about being absent for an unknown amount of time and her daughters missing than anything else? Who knows. But the harder she thought again her head would feel pressure building. Her eyes shut tightly to the pain and in the room for a quick moment a few things would shake. If it was silent the rumble of them on any stand could gently be heard. But for the most part it could also go easily unnoticed. Eury's eyes would open, blinking twice before regaining her composure to look at Leon. She watched the blood drip off his hand from when he killed the guy then glanced over to Aryn. Once more speaking quietly and friendly.

"Maybe we can talk later...Call it a woman's intuition but I have a feeling it would prove beneficial..."

What kind of benefits? Well that remains to be seen. But some of it must've already been quite obvious. Placing a gentle hand on the one Aryn had around her, she would give it a slight 'thank you' tap and politely remove it from her shoulder as she finally slowly started to take a few steps towards Leon. Passing Rai she would gently place a hand on his shoulder. A clear sign of 'I'll take it from here'. The brunette would pause a mere few inches in front of Leon, still no words to him. She just looked at him, head tilting slightly like a curious feline. How could he be sure it was truly her? Maybe Rai was mistaken. She could easily be an imposter. Wouldn't she be the best kind? Easiest of infiltrations now wouldn't it be. Closest to the Lightning Dragon. She wouldn't be surprised if Leon was even just a tad bit paranoid about it. Wouldn't surprise her either if soon enough she would find her air supply slightly closed off by his hand. But finally..

"Hi."

That was it. If she was an imposter they got her vocal pattern down too.[/font][/ul][/color]

Leon faultered, only for a meer moment, but it was visible. His knee's gave way to make a visible wave in his body as he went back upright. He finally let his hands curl the fingers back into the palm, his shoulders straightened, and his composure was regained at hearing her voice, like he had been relieved and revitalized by a sudden realization. Leon 'looked' around and his orders would soon begin.

"Raikotsu, I want you to lead Aryn and Yun to the location you found her, look for clues and signs of battle."

Leon was obviousely speaking about the dry blood he could smell on her.

"If you find a trail send Yun back here and follow it. Report anything out of the ordinary you find."

Leon would turn towards Mathew.

"Mathew, my friend I need your help gathering a search party, nothing large scale, I need your best trackers."

Finally turning towards Yun.

"Court is closed until further notice, have the squads rotate into patrols to police the territory. Give the Squad Captains authority to dish out judgement. Then go with Rai and Aryn."

Leon would wait silently until everyone understood to leave. If they didn't he would remind them of the urgency of the situation.

"This is a very short window in a very old case I need everything and anything you all might be able to find."

Then once everyone was gone, Leon would wrap his arms around Eury, quickly, tightly and bury his face in her shoulder. He knew this feeling, and this smell. He had regained something he had lost before... Hope.

[Aryn Valcoph]

Aryn quirked her head, canting it to the side as she looked at Eury.

"Sure thing." It wasn't quite dismissive, as it was still an agreement, but Aryn was about ready to brush the entire thing off her hands. She let her arm fall back to her side and continued to watch as Eury left her side to pace over to Leon. Would they kiss? ...nope.

'--well fuck that's too bad--'

And with Leon's quake, it made three that weren't entirely sure of what to feel. Aryn's gaze darkened before they snapped up as Leon started to dish out orders. Her jaw clenched. Yeah.

Yeah, she'd do that.

For a moment her gaze burned. Not in curiosity, not quite in fury. But clearly, Aryn was not enthused and definitely not impressed. But did she want to fight him on this? Well, chances were likely yes she did. But was it worth it?

'Nope. Fuck this shit, I'm outta here.'

Besides, it didn't exactly concern Leon - not exactly - it was more for Eury. Kind of. If she thought about it like that, at least, it'd make things a little easier until she figured out what was worth fighting with him over, anymore. Certainly there was one thing. She mock saluted, spun on her heel, and strode out.

'Fucking emotional bullshit.'

...maybe it was going to be messier than she thought...

Rai watched the going ons of the room, the emotion and stress in the room were so thick it was almost hard to breathe. Then Leon seemed to snap out of it issuing out orders. Aryn's response to Leon made Rai uncomfortable, Shit... what did Leon just throw me into...

"Yes sir."

Was all Rai would say but he would give his Uncle and his Aunt each another glance before following Aryn at the door.

Once Yun had finished doing what he was told and came up to him and Aryn he motioned for the two to follow him.

"This way."

And with that they were off to the location in which Rai found Eury.

[/i] these two ladies were going to have was going to be an interesting one. It could go either way at this point. Eury would make a mental note of this and well hope for the best? Last thing she needed right now was more conflict. She had remained as calm as possible this whole time but inside was a raging storm brewing. But that tempest was well reserved, though whenever it decides to release itself people might want to stand out of her way.

~Poor Rai...Being in the path of a woman's wrath isn't pretty... Good luck...~

Leon's orders were partially mumbled to her ears due to her focus on Aryn's reaction but from what she heard she turned back to him as everyone left just to be mauled by his sudden embrace. Air quickly escaped her lungs in the form of a gasp, as her back arched a bit pushing her forward against his frame and causing a little tiptoeing in the process. They were only three inches apart in height difference it isn't much but enough that for him to be comfortable in her shoulder he'd have to come down a bit or she was pulled up in this case she was. Her chin was over his own shoulder briefly as her hazel-greens blinked for a few short moments. Again her feelings were scattered. She was currently outwardly stoic, yet inwardly looking for the right reaction. What's up with that? Why the need to find the right emotion or reaction? It's not like she was some kind of robot. Eury exhaled a sigh as her head turned inward towards placing her forehead against the side of his neck. Her arms under his finally wrapping around him as well as her body tension subsiding - easing within his grasp. In this he would be able to feel how tattered her clothes were with rips and tears like a beast attacked her

By the way thanks for the fresh blood on the clothes, just had it rain cleaned.

Again Eury would breathe in this time taking in his essence. She didn't know exactly how long it had been cause to her it was only yesterday that she had been with him. But that sense of longing was starting to kick in and that made her appreciate this little moment. There was something she wanted to mention about him sending them to search for clues back where Rai had found her - how she doubted they'd find anything. She didn't want to be negative but she had felt like she had been walking for hours if even days, yet only recalls wandering or rather stumbling through that alleyway. No where else. It was as if she just poofed there. But this moment wasn't for that just yet. Her embrace tightened as her head lifted and placed a gentle kiss on his neck. Her soft voice now speaking into his ear this time. Maybe she was more waiting on him to start the conversation or whatever. It was like she was a spectator though she was clearly a participant. But a question would arise. One she needed to know. Clearly it was well over a year, but what was really the time frame.

"...Hey you...How long has it been?.."[/font][/ul][/color]

"Two years and some change."

Leon said as he let go and took his composure back thinking on things. Analyzing her appearance, trying to think on what might have happened.

"In that time frame, I was captured by Barker and rescued by Mathew, Shugo, and some of the others. The family has been on the hunt for you since you vanished. Whats the last thing you remember?"

[/i] Eury was her completely normally self there would be a little chibi her waving her arms about eventually clinging onto to Leon's leg almost frantically wondering why he was blind, when did it happen and wondering where the past two years had gone. Now this may be an over-exaggeration but none the less there would've been some form of real worry and concerned. But there wasn't, at least not so outwardly apparent. Feeling him pull away a quizzical expression was clearly plastered on her face. Her body had reset with both feet on the ground oppose to her former tip toe position, her arms resting at her sides again.

~..Two years?...Captured by Barker? Saved and the family has been looking for me?... Ok that's a lot to take in....~

Though were they really looking hard enough? Funny Rai told her they all thought she was dead. There was another thought coming with that and she quickly hushed it. Her wishy washy personality was about to peek out for a moment and she almost felt herself saying something inappropriate currently. Now wasn't the time the fact that the thought even occurred was a little problematic. No Eury was calm as calm can be. Now to task of what she remembered last. Well it certainly wasn't the attack that apparently happened that's for sure. Not only did that bother her but during that time she was about 3 months pregnant and now she reappears childless. That in itself hurt her deeply. And the whole journey over she still hadn't found the words to say to him on that matter. Unknowingly her body turned away from him, giving her husband her back as words hesitated to form at first.

"...Last thing I remember was being home with the kids watching a movie... Lana and Spike wrestling with each and Lana sketching off to the side.... Then stumbling around in that alleyway Rai found me in... Truthfully I don't how I even got there.. I just was..."

There was a hint of anger in her voice no matter how soft she spoke. But there was more in her demeanor if he could feel it like he always had there was a sad demeanor over her. Something she wasn't saying. Did she need to? Had he forgotten that she was going to have their third child? She really didn't want to say it.[/color][/font][/ul]
