"I will need them in eight days. Is that doable?"
He didn't know how fast she could work. This would serve not only to get Bastille her flowers but as a test for this young girl. If she proved useful enough then it was possible that he would try to get her to work on the Groves with Kiyr. It would be very important work, and her talents would be beyond useful with that project.
He met her doe eyed stare with a confident one of his own, his lips curled in to an almost impish smile. This was survival to her, for him it was a game of convenience.
"Does that sound like an acceptable trade then?"

"How many?"
Eight days was a lot of time for Jenesis to work with. But if he gave her an ungodly amount of lillies, then she might have to refuse him...because she was sure that he not only wanted the flowers, but he wanted them prepared as well- as in, not still rooted into the ground.
But if he gave her a reasonable number, perhaps no more than a couple hundred...then her response to his second question would be well-received with a large smile etched across her face, and a firm nod.

"One hundred and fifty should do it I believe."
He really had no idea, he had never planned a wedding before. So he just said the first number that came to mind. He would figure out what to do with them later. Right now it was just a matter of getting the supply.
When he got a favorable reply his smile brightened and once more he extended his hand for the young lady to take and seal the deal. Kind of like dealing with a demon, but without the blood ritual!
"I'm glad to here it. Can you arrange delivery or shall I handle that? And how can I reach you in the future?"
Because he was not gonna let her ditch on him.

She would shake his hand. DEAL.
She had to think for a minute.
Daddy would probably be more than willing to help in delivery, right? Because Jenesis was 10000000% positive that both Daddy and The Children would not like it if she revealed their position. Not that it was a huge secret, but it was definitely something Jenesis knew not to tell strangers.
"...daddy and I can deliver, but--"
She paused.
"--you will not be able to reach me."
She stared at him. This was a non-negotiable, and not really by choice either.
Could this not be readily solved if Jenesis just received the training after she delivered the flowers and he finished "getting married"? ...or was he planning on teaching her right there and then?
Grrrr. She knew that her answer was not a favorable one. She was scrambling her brain to think of a way where he would be able to find her, but with her not knowing any of the territories... For Pete's sake she was supposed to be at the coast, and ended up in swamp-land.
Hence the reason why she would have to travel with Daddy.
Silent. Awaiting his reaction.
