OOC: Matthew first.
Jenesis wandered back into Dragon territory, kind of hoping she would run into Yun again so she could show him what she had gained from the fruit. Instead of landing back near the coast, she somehow ended up near a pond/swamp hybrid near a park.
The sun was up, providing warmth on her porcelain pale skin, its rays beating down on her soft blonde hair.
She was sitting by the pond, right hand moving in a circular motion as she coaxed a beautiful white calla lily out of the ground. It wasn't her first one, either. All around the park, there were flowers of all sorts; morning glories, orchids, roses...some even found in tropical locations, foreign to the US.
And she was humming, quietly to herself.
"Mmmm~"

Mathew was in a bit of a broody mood. Most of the stuff for the wedding was lined up, but he still lacked the flowers. Roses would not do, not for Bastille. He already knew as much, they were not special enough, and not the flower that she loved. They wouldn't be perfect, and he wanted everything to be perfect.
He was wandering through Dragon territory, not even paying attention to where he was even as he walked through the park until he reached a marshy like area of one. He noticed that when he took a wrong step and ended up sinking a knee in to the mud.
"Are you serious? When the hell did this happen!?"
He was pretty sure this area didn't used to be like this. He pulled his leg up and ran his hand over the muddy leg which caused the earth on his leg to fall off. Though his leg was still wet. He hadn't noticed the girl or flowers yet with his distraction.

"Hmm~ Mmmm~---"
Her humming abruptly came to an end when she heard an angry voice ringing in the park. She froze, head slowly turning in the direction of the voice.
Head to toe, Jenesis was covered in dirt and mud; she had been playing around not only with the flowers, but with the water as well. Which...might explain the squishy earth.
The ground only around Jenesis would rumble. This was not anything she could control- it was simply the fear of mister Grumpy-Man that was fueling the ground to shake.

The rumbling earth. That sure caught his attention and his head snapped to face the direction that the vibrations originated from. Last time he faced another Earth Manipulator it had been a Barker trained assassin trained to kill him specifically. Bastard almost had too. That had been a scary night, to face with his own mortality.
Yet when his eyes finally spied the girl he relaxed somewhat. It wasn't the same person, and thus wasn't a threat. Not until proven otherwise, it seemed that Mathew did not learn. But he was curious, and that meant he had no choice but to investigate. He approached the girl, allowing his eyes to take in the changed scenery with interest. His eyes widening when he saw the flowers, but not just any flowers. The type of flowers he needed. It was almost too good to be true.
"This your doing?"
He asked sharply, though not quite aggressively. He did expect an answer though.

Oh nooooo. Why was he coming this way...x___x
Jenesis would have scrambled if she wasn't so terribly struck with fear. This guy's sharp tone, even if it wasn't aggressive, wasn't friendly.
"Y-Yes."
She stared, wide eyed, the ground still rumbling.

Yep, it was coming from her, she confirmed it, and the rumble was stronger around her. The way she spoke made him believe that she was afraid of him. Good, that was probably a good thing. Smart at least. He folded his arms over his chest as he looked down at her, with a judgemental and appraising eye. After a long moment he slammed his foot in to the ground, a rumble of his own formed as a pillar of stone shot up beside them both.
"Replicate it."
If she could. It was simple though. Six inches in diameter, and four feet high. Nothing oddly shaped about it. Just a small pillar, he was curious to see if she could do it, or if she lacked the control. Which was possible. He was judging the rumbling to mean it was still tied to her emotions.

OOC: On my phone...please excuse any typos.
A rumble...followed by a pillar of stone shooting out of the ground. He told her to replicate it...but she was far too nervous under his eye to even move. That, and there was a reason why she was playing with flowers and not rocks. The rumbling was definitely tied to her emotions.
Her eyes began to water.
"........"
But Jenesis would reposition herself so she would be on her knees, palms touching the ground. With a quiet sniffle, she would close her eyes...the rumbling getting significantly stronger, until it came to an abrupt end when she withdrew her hands.
Nope. Couldn't do that.

He dropped his hands down to his sides as he watched her keenly. Green eyes sparkling with interest, he didn't feel threatened. If this girl was a threat then she was a damn good actress. The ground rumbled again, but no pillar came out, whether it was because of nerves or lack of skill he did not know.
"Can't make the pillar?" He asked squatting down in front of her, placing his hands on his knees. "How long have you been able to do the rumbling?"
It was possible that she just awakened her Qi. Not everyone had as much practice as Mathew and Leon and the others. Sometimes he forgot that. Hell, even Bastille his bride to be did not use one. At least that he had ever really seen.

She thought for a moment...
"A week."
A week was a long time to play around with this newfound power, but when she first experienced the rumbles it scared the bajeepers out of her. Again- hence the reason why she played around with flowers so much more than she did the rocks.
Mother nature was kind to her, but without knowing how to harness such an extravagant gift could be terrifying.
Her eyes flickered toward the flower, whose shape began to falter with all the rumblings in the ground. With a small motion of her wrist, she made its roots go deeper, so that it would stabilize itself.

"I see..."
He said slowly, noting the way her hand flicked upon noticing the flower. Perhaps the girl could do more than shift the ground, and she might be of some use to him after all. That was good news.
"Did you do this stuff with the flowers too?"
He asked in a much nicer tone, he even smiled at the girl. For the first time.

Eegads! The shift in tone and change in expression certainly threw the girl off...but in response to his question, she would nod- albet shyly, feeling less afraid but still revering the man because of his show of power.
She also worked with water, but there wouldn't be a need to bring that up unless he asked.
"..flowers are much nicer.."

Yup, he could use her. And he totally would too. At least for this, maybe for more. It would all depend how much he could get out of her, and what it would cost him. Nothing was free.
"My name is Mathew. What's your name?"
He extended a hand toward the girl. He was all smiles and friendly tones now. It was a sudden flip from how he was, but he got the impression he would get further with honey today.

He was correct to assume being all nice and jizz would make her bend more to his will more in compliance with his desires. But, that didn't mean the change in demeanor had slipped her notice. Scientists always turned nice to get what they want.
She extended her hand and would shake it.
"Jenesis."
Now rather than being shy, she felt...a little more reserved. She would stare at him, one red and one blue eye looking at him almost inquisitively, but at the same time, filled with such curiousness and wonder.
What did this powerful wolf want from little red riding hood Jenesis?

She was lucky that he did not want to eat her up. He was just interested in what Little Red Riding Hood had in her basket. Namely the flowers. Withdrawing his hand and standing up he shifted to look around the park, taking in a deep breath.
"I really like the flowers that you made. They are beautiful. I was wondering if you would be open to a trade."
He was just going to get right to the point, but at least he was willing to trade rather than just take what he wanted by force. It was better to stay on good terms, she could be useful in the future.
"I'm getting married in about a week and I see that you were able to grow her favorite flowers."
He motioned to the lilies.
"If you could grow me a lot of them so I could surprise her then I would be more than happy to give you a lesson in manipulating the dirt and stone under your feet."

Flowers for lessons?
...to be honest, if he had just asked for flowers in that nice tone of his, he probably would have gotten a bunch pro-bono. But because he offered, and because Jenesis was (..maybe a little hesitantly) eager to learn...
...for survival.
She remembered Yun's words.
Also, the lillies would not last a week if she gave them to him now.
"...lillies for...when?"
Did he mean some now, to surprise 'her' now, as a preview...? Or in a week, for 'getting married' and surprising 'her' there? Or both?
Large doe eyes would stare curiously at the man. He was getting married! What did that even mean?
