Ahh… What a beautiful evening it was. The temperature was just right, a little warm, but not horribly humid, and only the occasional gentle breeze brushed against Wakana’s soft skin. Her soft footsteps sank a bit into the beach sand as her golden-brown eyes glanced out at the blazing sunset in the western horizon from behind her dark pair of shades. Other than the soft swish-swish of the waves, the area seemed to be moderately quiet… and also a good place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. …Well, that is, as long as she kept her eyes on the ocean.
The actual beaches… well… To put it gently, they probably would not end up on the top of very many beachgoers’ lists. They were actually rather filthy, to tell the honest truth, with trash and litter mixed in with all of the sand. However, this little fact did not seem to really bother Wakana all that much. Whatever was available to her, she went along with. And besides, she did not feel like going all that way to any of the other beaches that were only a couple of miles away. Although she did have to watch her step every once-in-a-while, she was still content with watching the sunset as its crimson streaks reflected off of the Pacific waters.
Finally finding a place generally clean of garbage, Wakana spread out the sky-blue towel that was rolled up underneath her arm and sat down on it, stretching out her long legs in front of her. She was wearing a knee-length red skirt and white tank-top, which had a nice, comfortably low neckline, along with a pair of brown leather sandals. Strangely enough, she seemed to had abandoned her black leather trench coat… Although she usually liked to keep up appearances, now wasn’t about what she wore. Now was about listening to the gentle waves, feeling the cool breeze flow through her loose, long, silky violet-dyed hair. A soft, relaxed smile lifted at the young woman’s ruby lips and let out a sigh, moving her sunglasses up to the top of her head, to get a more pleasant view of the sunset.
Ah… This is the life! Just need a handsome man right next to me and this’d be the perfect romance scene. Haha…
Of course, it wasn’t as if Wakana expected some guy to appear out of nowhere! Why, that would just be plain ridiculous. And it wasn’t as if she was really very lonely, either. No, it was just a stray thought that had passed her odd little mind. She found the fact that she was alone a little lonely, but at the same time… it was refreshing. No, there weren’t any worries within the violet-haired woman’s mind, none at all.
