Bastille had put the girls to bed, and attempted a punch at Mathew good bye before she left for her usual loosemamafatsuperhyperintensegetbackinshape training. Yup, she was busy. But tonight she wouldn't be training. Nope. She had someone to see. While being the voice of the ED had perks, locating David Blaze at all times WAS NOT one of them. It would have been nice 10 or so months ago when Mathew had been his usual moronic self and gotten himself almost killed. David being the saving grace HAD NOT been welcome- especially since she'd yet to see the man since....well...god knows when. God knows he hadn't seen her since she'd obtained a fair amount of new scars- and a whore job. Mental smugness.
Bastille went to the only place she knew she'd find 'him'. Or...hoped she would. She wasn't sure if the guy had even gone back to his damn island house thing since the war. Well, the beginning of it. But here she was, standing alone against a wall, in the pitch dark of the failing light. Her red eyes glimmering slightly in the light that was left.

The clanging of keys would signal David's arrival.
Having left Dragon territory, David had been living in a few of his old properties that were still standing, this, being one of them. He stopped a moment, frowning, being looking around himself.
Why did he feel like he wasn't alone? He stepped away from the house, standing out by the porch as he looked around. A slow darkness would come around his form as he let his tendrils out into the wind to try and feel for the location of the trespasser.
Nobody knew of this place, save Mitsuki and one or two others. But most wouldn't need to stand in darkness... unless they were a threat. His voice was strong, and clear.
"You can come out now."

Bastille would step out from the darkness and stare at him quietly, crossing her arms over her chest as she tilted her head at him.

He turned and stared at her a moment, unmoving, for a moment or two before he let out a little breath.
"I was wondering when you would be coming to see me."
He would gesture at the door.
"Would you like to come inside?"

Bastille raised a brow but didnt say anything and just moved to follow him in. Her eyes just sat poised on him. There was no anger or venom...just blank staring.

David would lead her inside, setting his keys and wallet on the counter, flipping on some lights.
"You uh, want something to drink?"

Bastille found her way in and looked around. So this place was still standing. She wondered if he had ever learned that half of his (well when Bastille had been here before- her) life time supply of cereal had gone missing. Mentally she scolded herself for feeling slightly in trouble at the minute. No time for that. She turned towards him and said quite clearly.
"No, thank you."

David nodded, putting his hands on the counter and looking over it to where Bastille sat.
An awkward silence followed before he asked, quite bluntly.
"Well, are you here you kill me, ms romanov? Kuz that wont work out for everybody."
He would grin before letting it fade, clearing his throat.
"Avengers. What can I do for you?"

"Lets get one thing streight,.."
She said bluntly. Starting rather diplomatically.
"I am so much cooler than black widow" She smirked.

He cocked an eyebrow, before letting a little chuckle out.
"Alright, alright. I can swallow that which is what she said."
He would open the fridge, taking out some lemonade and pouring himself some, waiting for her to continue.

Nope. Not how this game was working. She was going to wait for him to say something. ...

"Did you ever notice the cereal was gone?- I had to ask"

He took a long drink, smirking afterward.
"Yes. And I don't really mind. If someone put up the effort of getting out here and was good enough to get past my security, they deserve what they steal. And everyone who has a key or access can take as they please."
Yeah, he said this staring at her, pointedly.

"Good" She said walking up to him rather bluntly.
She paused, being right in front of him, close enough that she could feel his body heat. Her eyes glinted.
"This will only take a moment"
And she leaned up and kissed him quietly on the lips. She sat for a moment, then quietly parted and stepped back smiling, YES - smiling. And then she began to chuckle to herself.

David leaned back a little as she approached ready for a hit, when she kissed him.
His eyes widened, eyebrows flying into the sky. As she backed away, he would clear his throat, before a smirk rose on his lips, realization seemingly washing over him after the surprise.
"So which is it? The 'Matt's a much better kisser' one or the 'I made a good choice in a husband' one?"
Yeah, he figured he was getting punked.

"I didn't get a choice in marrying Mathew, I'm sure you know that" She said, obviously annoyed he'd assume she was mocking him.
"I needed to know something, that was all" She reached into her shirt and pulled out a necklace. Davids ring was there, hanging right there and glimmering. She raised a brow and looked at him.
"Although, I think, I enjoyed the look on both you two's faces when you realized I was in the room that day."
