Daniel just stares as the lake came to life and formed a giant ass water monster... thing. But now he wonders how to beat that thing, then remembers during the times it had him in its grasp, he managed to somehow control the water. Did that mean...?
Daniel silently and all stealth-like makes his way back to the lake, and if he reaches the shoreline unnoticed, would slam one hand down and try to freeze the lake by lowering the temperature of the water.

Daniel just smiles. Joke's on the lake maybe, with his hand making contact with the water, he proceeds to try and control it, and first order of business? Try to freeze the entire thing, and if that works, would try to free his arm, before jamming his staff down to crack the ice... if he can.

Well the lake started it by... never mind.
Daniel just tries communicating telepathically at this point, because he doesn't need people thinking he's gone off the deep end.
