David said nothing as he watched her face falter- to draw attention to it would simply be salt in the wound. He would nod at her stating that Youichi and August would be best. He assumed such, but couldn't be sure. She had seemed attached to the girl but was glad she was willing to part ways for now. The girl was wonderful, but needed stability. His two closest friends could give her that. Plus, it would be hilarious to watch August glare at him for giving them a kid so new into their relationship.
He gave a thoughtful frown as she stated she was going to texas. Already, Mitsuki and him made a great team, and he was looking forward to them working together. Of course they hadn't had too much of a chance to find his brother but Damien had yet to leave him additional clues, which he suspected would be forthcoming. He thought a moment to himself as she gave her offer- for him to come along. His response would follow a second or two after her offer.
"As long as you wouldn't mind having me along, I would like to join you. There are some other things in Texas I would like to look in to as well. Who would you br representing in Texas?"
He hadn't known of her being an ambassador for anyone, so perhaps she planned on forming her own resistance group...?

OOC: Because thread is concurrent w/ Suki's talk w/ Del, I have gotten permission w/ Meg to assume that Suki will be granted permission to be her rep. HOLLA.
"Delilah Black. She is the future of the allied forces-- though, this does not mean I have joined the Crows."
A bold statement for Mitsuki to make, but one she fully believed. As for keeping away from factions, this was just a personal thing- she hadn't joined any gangs when she was younger, and she wasn't about to join one now. Her place in Chicago wasn't a choice she made, but rather via association to her brother, and as a means of aid- like the School Captain title...she was thrusted into a position and stuck with it 'til she left.
It was a little bit of a relief to hear that he would be joining her. She knew that there would be formidable opponents in Texas...
...but Mitsuki, for some reason, had a knack of getting what she sought after. She didn't even consider herself to be a persuasive person, though...others might see differently.

David cocked an eyebrow.
Really. For Delilah? He would fold his arms in a relaxed way, as though curious.
"I see. And who was it that told you she was the future of the allied forces?"
Not that he disagreed.

"I cannot say."
She was bound to secrecy.

David stared at her for a long moment, chewing a bit on his lip. There werent many who would say something like that then refuse to call it openly. The only one David could think of who might play that car was Unfettered, but to his understanding the german was gone, at least for the time being.
"Alright. If I might suggest it- I wouldn't mention Delilah being such to anyone in Texas. They all assume they are the future, i'm sure, and would need proof to back up that claim. Not that I disagree with the statement- though i'm sure there are a few Dragons who would."
He looked away thoughtfully.
"Which also begs the question- why Texas? I mean, there are other places that we might have more luck, like New York or Miami."

"Dion...ysus had been researching groups outside of California. According to him, Texas has a high concentration of rebellious factions."
Hitting the east coast was something that crossed her mind- but, just like how it was in California, she assumed there would be superpower factions there as well. With such a population, she didn't see how there wouldn't be- so...she thought it best to first start in Texas and form a solid relationship with them before moving to the east. It would give her more foundation to work with.
The midwest would be no problem- the group she had been previously involved with would hop on board.
"...need to build a stronger foundation first, before moving to the east coast."

He nodded.
"Sounds legit. When were you wanting to head that way?"

"Within a couple weeks."
Probably a week (max) after the wedding. Hopefully, he would be able to train her a little more before departure. If not in combat, then pure conditioning.
...
He was right when he said his Qi would take up a lot of her energy. Like a wave, she suddenly felt sleepy despite having just woken up. Hnnh...
"...I think I'm going to take a nap."

David took a deep breath.
"Sounds good to me."
He watched her sway a bit, stepping forward and putting an arm on her shoulder.
"Yeah...we better get you back."
And they would begin moving back toward the house.
