Why would she hide her face with a mask? She had her reasons. She watched as he ran, or at least tried to run, towards her in the water, the cool liquid splashing everywhere with everystep her took. When he came to a halt, however, the water splashed onto her clothes, yet she didn't mind. It was cool, refreshing - she just kept her eyes on his movements, not letting the water distract her. Her eyes followed his hand as it approached near her face, and having quick reflexes, she wouldn't allow any more of his blows to hit her. Like when her brother once said during the Tae Kwon Do tournament, 'You can't lose if they can't touch you.'
She ducked. Even though her leg was trapped, she was still able to maneuver from his punch to her face by doing something simple - ducking. When she ducked, she moved quickly without hesitation, wrapping her arms around his neck as if she were embracing him, clinging to him like a bug, and brought their bodies closer together. As soon as she pounced, she would knee him constantly into his gut, making his hand that was about to rocket towards her neck automatically void, unless he switched to grab the back of her neck, since she was obviously a little too close for comfort. Right when, and if, her knee would make contact with his gut, her hands would already be positioned a little below the bottom of his neck at a certain pressure point, and she would press down hard against it, that would make him fall unconscious for a total of eight minutes, ending the battle right there. The pressure point would be pressed between her first and second knee to the gut. (Charlies Angel ftw?)
"I have my reasons for hiding."
Those words would be whispered during the launch of her attack. It would be over soon, and her brother continued to watch from afar. He didn't know it, but Mitsuki knew he was around - the "twin" aura, you could say, and her wanting to make him proud drove her into winning this. He watched silently, his white hair blowing from the side as he watched the two go at it again, his back leaning against the bench with his arms folded across his chest. He would leave once the battle is over, and would show himself if his sister lost. If she would win, however, he would leave her there to come home on her own.
Wasting me away...

OOC: Umm I might have mis understood how you grabbed my neck. So just PM me if I got something wrong ^_^
Aris saw her duck, he had planned for this he had no trouble with her whatsoever. She had made her last and final mistake... hopefully. She had brought herself closer to Aris. Speed barely mattered anymore, at this range the usual speed difference was almost non existance. And Aris had a second advantage.
As his hand shot forward and she moved down and in he immediately brought his hand back and bent it. Even though she was fast he was too close for being outmanuevered. His hand shot back and his elbow was inches away from her neck. She probably would not choose to dodge because he doubted she knew that it was coming at her since it was behind her.
Next thing to do was to make sure her knee didn't hit something precious. He left his fist down and her knee would collide there instead of his stomach. His left hand had been there the whole time and he didn't even have to move it to protect himself. Now the only question left was who was knocked out first. His elbow was coming in fast and if she planned for he knee to make it to his gut first he would have her down. Especially since her knee would never really end up hitting his gut.
Now it all mattered on her choice. It all mattered on how soon she planned to choke him... that was all that mattered.
"I have my reasons for knowing."

"Lies..."
Her voice barely above a whisper as her hands jerked against his shirt, pressing her two fingers in a sudden way, which would cause him to lose consciousness in a second. A wave of relief washed over her body for a moment, until she felt a sharp sudden pain right behind her, just under her neck. Her eyes slid closed, her body going limp, falling into a pit of darkness. Because she was sort of clinging to him, it most likely be her falling on top of him, but because of his height and weight, it it might be the other way around. Either that, or somehow, their bodies get seperated and the fall the opposing ways. Either way, the both of them were about to get wet, and would both wake up around the same time - in approximately eight minutes.
Her brother watched from afar, nodding his head back and forth. Standing up and turning on his heel, he decided it was time for him to go home. He'd see her later, he knew that for a fact, because he was the one who taught her that move. His footsteps were silent as he came off the beach and onto the cement sidewalk, and made his way to the apartment complex, taking out his key from his side pocket.
Several minutes passed, and she woke up on top of the boy (or underneathe, or several feet away, you decide), straining her eyes as she slowly began to regain her strength and mentality. Her hand automatically moved to where her mask was, and the waves seemed to have pushed them into the sand. She gave small coughs, her clothes drenched with salt water as she rolled off of the boy (or pushed, or just sat up, again, it's your choice), and stood back up.
Draw.

OOC: I have a party to go to. So I probably won't have a chance to post back today.
Now the fall was a big one and Aris was bigger. But he knew that if he landed on her there was a chance of her being smothered or possibly even drowned. So as he left consciousness he pushed himself back. He didn't want her dead, not yet. He didn't want her gone.
So as he fell he felt a small form ontop of him, and then rushing water filled his nostrils, but he didn't feel anything. He awoke on the beach... Coughing tiredly. She had just sat up by him. He was lying on the ground, mostly because he was tired. He turned his face to her. "I'm Aris...." And then before she could say anything, he was doubting she would anyways, he added "Don't tell me your name..."
He was almost positive she wasn't going to anyways. But who knows. Maybe she wasn't what her image first gave way to. His lungs were still uncomfortable. He probably had water in him. But it was his decision to keep the chances of her dying far away. He looked at the moon, and without turning to her he asked one last thing. He knew it was a question that she probably would not answer, but he wanted to know. "Why do you keep that mask on?" He asked quietly.
OOC: And Have fun wherever you're gonna be at tomorrow.

OOC: My bad. >>;; I'm leaving on Monday. (Thought Monday was the sixth, apparently not.) @@; And what a coincidink! I have a party at seven o___O;;
Aris? That's a name that you don't hear everyday. She was going to tell him her name, until he told her not to. Odd? Yeah. She couldn't figure this boy out - mysterious? Sure? Out of his mind? Definately. Her yellow orbs looked at him directly, trying to figure him out, but failed. When she was asked about her mask, she didn't know whether to tell him or not. Besides, this kid didn't even know her name, and yet he wanted to know the history behind the mask? The was going to say something, until the waves hit her ankles, splashing it all over her, and decided it was best to just sit down. She was wet anyway, didn't matter if she got "wet again".
"Why don't you want to know my name?"
She answered his question, with a question of her own. Her eyes remained on the boy for a moment, before turning her head to the sky. He wasn't that bad, if anything, he probably had some sort of odd, crazy reason for him being, well, crazy. Then again, he's not the one wearing a mask, is he? Her eyes gave off some sort of sparkle when she directed them towards the moon. Something you don't see often during the day, but happens all the time at night. Pulling up her legs, she wrapped her arms around them and leaned her head on her knees, her yellow orbs staring into the night sky. So clear. The moon's reflection bounced off the salt water, so if you looked towards the horizon, a bright light given from the moon was there.
I'm fallin' apart, and I hope you got the news... We're oceans apart... It's getting hard to breathe, so let's just break away... You can make the stars call out your name, you can make the ocean waves calm... And every thought of you, gives me hope to see this through, another day...
Who was she thinking of right now?
Her childhood deceased friend.
Andrew. Kim.
"'Cause I'm holding onto every thought of you."

OOC: I'm Back ^_^
IC: Aris's gaze never broke from the moon. In his opinion Mitsuki was not exactly the prettiest sight. Of course she was skinny and pretty, but he felt wrong to even think about her without knowing her. Why the mask? Why the secrecy? He shook his head and turned to her. "I feel wrong knowing your name before seeing your face... and you're real eye color." He added pointedly.
He turned his head back to the sky and he went back down into a laying position, putting his hands behind his head. He would like to know more about this girl. But he decided against it. He decided against knowing her name until she showed him her face. The pale moon shone brightly, illuminating his face. Illuminating his thoughts. "Holding onto every thought of who?' He ask absently.
To be honest he was paying more attention to the stars than to her. But he was still listening and still intent on finding this girl out. He guessed that she would not take off the mask anyways. He guessed that she had a reason not to. But he felt lied to in a very cold way. And he couldn't deal with it. Not until she atleast told him why. The light and chilly wind coming from the waves made it a soothing place to be.

"A dead friend..."
Her voice came out as a whisper, and she closed her eyes as she imagined him as they were two years ago. He taught her some of the most simplest moves, and some of the most violent, and harder ones. When he said he felt wrong without seeing her face to know her name, or her real eye color, her left hand slowly made it to the string of the mask around her left side of the face, and held onto it. She would show her face to those who asked, it's not like she would say "never" and then run away. She kept it on for a reason, and so did her brother. No one really bothered asking to see her face because they thought it was rude, but really, she didn't care. As long as she had it, it was fine with her.
Her fingers wrapped around the string, and pulled it off slowly, revealing her face. Her light jawline, her well toned nose and her pale lips. The wet mask was held on her left hand, and she turned her face towards Aris, a still look on her face before turning back to the moon. He was the first person, ever, to show her face other then her brother. She opened her lips, starting to speak again, this time more clear because her mask wasn't muffling her voice.
"My name's Mitsuki... I'm colorblind, so my eye color is a light shade of gray."
She felt her presence of her brother gone. He probably went home, and her eyes directed once again to the moon - and in her eyes, the color of the moon was a very light shade of gray, almost a white color.
In my world of black and white... Strangest times of the night...

He looked at her as she held onto the string of her mask and once again he realized how strongly he had misread her. He was almost ashamed of it. Then he saw her taking her mask off and he realized that he had, in fact, completely misread her. She was not the dark loner he had first tooken her to be.
"Why where contacts, why where a mask?" He asked, he didn't outly say it, but she was beautiful. Like drop dead beautiful. But of course he wasn't paying attention to that at the moment. His curiousity took control and he wanted to know why she wore that. Then he paused and he put out his far right hand. "Hello Mitsuki. It's nice to see a friendly face." He said with a light smile on his face.
Now he felt wrong almost. He felt wrong because she was not what he had expected. But he pushed it aside. He decided that the moon was better than guilt, so he turned up towarsd the moon. He was slightly surprised at what this girl did. For all he knew she might have had a green mouth or something. But she didn't. Once again she had proven probability wrong. Once again she had proven chance more powerful than probability. Once again she had done what Aris tries to do with every step.

"Contacts, because if people knew I was colorblind, they'd use it to their advantage... And a mask to hide the past."
Like always, she inserted a riddle for the last part of her message. She was always one who talked in circles, or in riddles, but she hasn't done those in a while. Turning towards Aris again, and noticing his hand was outstretched, she reached over with her own right hand, and had a light grasp around his, and didn't bother to shake it as her smooth, silk like hands slowly slipped out of his, and back to her side. She didn't say anything for a while, because she was wondering - what color was his hair? His eyes? His clothes he was wearing? The color of the sea? The sun? The clouds? The grass, the trees, the bugs, the sky... Herself? By now, she was able to guess what color was what by the shade of gray, depending on how light or how dark they were, but she didn't actually know what the color looked like.
Not anymore, at least.
All in all, Mitsuki was what you would call a mystery. Barely revealing anything about her past, and barely talking about the future, and barely paying attention to the present, it was as if she were stuck in time. But when she touched Aris' hand, she started again. It was an odd feeling at first, but in the end, she ended up shrugging it off mentally, as always. She wasn't exactly "good" with emotions, lets say. Always getting one mixed up for the other, even as a child.
"What brings you here at this time of night..."

OOC: I have WRITER'S BLOCK!!!
IC: Aris paused and looked at her. He wasn't even sure why. He had been running, trying to fight something and he ended up walking on the beach. Talking with himself, discussing himself, thinking about himself. Something had been clearly wrong. Aris was insane, he knew, and he knew that it wasn't right that he knew. But he could do nothing about it.
Now the choice of his to make was whether to tell her and possibly chase her off. Or not tell her and hope he is thinking straight around her.... whatever straight is. Whatever thought is. He decided a simple answer would be best for now. "I was running away.... from myself." He paused and stared intently at her hoping she wouldn't freak out.
"I found something out that was very scary... and I wanted not to know it anymore. I wanted it to stop." He paused and cast his eyes down. "I'm being hypocritic. I know that there is no better way to beat bad things than to fight them. Running doesn't help.... but I got scared." He paused and realized something as he turned his gaze back up to her, "And then I found you... and I remembered how to fight."
He had only started thinking about it when he found out there was nothing to hide behind the mask. Just her past. And he was going to try and convince that a person cannot hide his or her past. A person could not hide from his or her past. All they could do was fight it back. But he cleared his head and decided not to try and say to her what has probably already been said. "What about you? What made you decide to come here and find me?" He asked knowing that that was probably not her purpose. But that was what happened and he wasn't going to pretend it didn't.

Running away from himself? His eyes gave off some emotion, and she stared back, her yellow orbs looking straight into his. So she was right. He was insane, yet, it didn't change the way she thought about him. So what if he was insane? Her facial expressions remained the same when he said this. Did it matter that he was crazy? No, and she would have right out bluntly tell him that she wished she was in his position. Maybe then her brother wouldn't push her as hard as he is right now. Giving a mental sigh, she moved herself over next to him and layed down, using her arms as comfort behind her head as she looked back at the white moon, her eyes closing for a moment. It seemed that the two had something in common today. Her hand loosely held the black and red mask, and her red hair remained fell loosely by her shoulders and onto the sand, the waves of the sea washing up against her body, the breeze brushing against her eye lashes.
What made her meet him on this "fateful" day?
"I was running away from myself."
A light smile twitched on her lips as she opened her eyes and turned towards Aris for a minute, then back to the moon. How to explain, how to explain... She opened her pale lips to speak, yet nothing came out, and she closed them again. She didn't know how to word what she wanted to say, yet she ended up speaking in her soft, quiet tone of voice once again.
"I...needed a break."
She paused before speaking again, collecting her thoughts as she continued.
"I didn't want to do things I should have done today... I... Didn't like the position I was in. I didn't like being confused, lost... I didn't like wandering in the dark... ...I didn't like the fact that I may not see my best friend anymore... I didn't like...anything. But... I think I found something I like today..."
Or someone.

Aris nodded. He had found something he had needed just as much as liked. But he had found her on this very beach, he pause and leaned more heavily on his left arm, the one closer to her and he looked at her face. Mostly the part right below the nose where the mask was.
When she had begun to speak a smile broke out on his face. She was something else. Something he had not prepared to meet. "I'm glad.... when you find something that you like... they tend to light up the dark path we wander in." He said gently and more softly than he talked when he first met her. Aris's voice unwillingly and uncontrollably took on a different tone when talking with someone he knew and someone he did not know. He didn't know why, but it didn't really matter.
He was simply looking at the moonlit sand. Simply absorbing the image of the beach. Of the finally maskless face. Something he had not seen in a long time. People always wore masks, people always protected themselves. But in this moment he felt completely ungaurded. He felt completely vulnerable. He felt more open to deception and impurity than ever. He no longer had the mental barrier about him. No longer a comical face, no longer a dark insanity dwelling within him.
All he had was a seeming compassion, a caring for someone he barely knew. Or it seemed he barely knew her, but perhaps he knew her more than he knew himself. "So we both didn't like our starting positions. But we're closer than ever to the finish and it seems a lot nicer over here." He whispered gently, just loud enough for her to here.

"When one thing ends, there's another beginning."
She said quietly, to no one in particular as she, too, turned towards Aris, her eyes turning soft as she closed them, sighing quietly to herself. She was getting tired by the minute, however if she slept in the water, she would definately catch a cold in the morning, and she didn't want to be sneezing twenty-four, seven. And yet, she didn't want to leave. She felt natural around him. As if she didn't have to hide behind a wall to protect herself. Yet, when other people were around...it was a different story. They wouldn't understand, or at least, that's what she thought. They would never understand - they would only find it as her weakness, and use it against her. He would use it against her, if he found her.
The person she was hiding from.
Brian Chang...
A part of her wanted him to find her so she can kill him. Murder him. Let him rot in the sewers. But the other half didn't want him to find her so he wouldn't kill her. She gave a small shiver, not because of the water, but because of her thoughts, and she took her arms and wrapped them around herself, almost hugging herself as she looked back over at the sky.
"So if we're near the end... A beginning must be opening up..."

He smiled as he heard that. He had a problem. He was willing to admit it. He was willing to admit that he had no end and he couldn't find his beginning. His insanity worked around him and he never managed to find it's origins or the way to stop it. But he knew that something was right. People often have a very hard time of knowing where they are. They try to find themselves and they try to find their place. But this was a moment Aris would remember.
"I can see the beginning already. I can see it because for once, I feel like I am at the right place at the right time." he said to her softly as the moonlight bounced off the ground around the chilly waves. But for a moment he saw fear in her eyes. It made him scared as well, he didn't know what could frighten her, but whatever it was he really saw draw on her features for a split second vanished just as fast. He honestly did not know what to think.
"Why don't I take you home.... You're wet and I want to make sure you get home safe." he said with a light smile. He knew that if he could take on someone, so could she. But he would rather be with her for longer. It felt right. It felt correct. It felt normal. It felt like his life was piecing itself together instead of falling apart. But he doubted anything this good lasted.

"...Okay..."
Pulling herself up so she was in a sitting position, she stood up and offered a hand to help Aris up. If he chose to accept it, then she'd help pull him up, and would then continue to walk over to where her sweater was and pick it up, and wouldn't bother putting it on, 'cause then her sweater would only end up getting wet as well. She would then proceed to walking next to Aris, and turn to the direction of the condo complex. She kept her mask in her hand, since it was night time, many people wouldn't be able to see her face anyway. She made sure she was close to Aris, yet not too close for comfort - her foot steps were quiet as she walked down the cement sidewalk.
Before she knew it, the complex of the condo she lived in was in front of them, and she looked up, giving a small sigh before turning to Aris. Since he came all the way here... Why not...?
"Wanna come in...?"
Of course, he could always borrow some of her brothers clothes to dry himself off and such. She was sure that he wouldn't mind... Or at least, she thought he wouldn't. Her eyes had a tint of a sparkle, as if hoping he'd say yes. This was odd, especially for Mitsuki since the girl wasn't usually...like this.
Surprise, surprise...
