OOC: I was gonna right have fun in Indiana in spanish... but I don't know how. And NOW I go to sleep. 'Night Hyunie
IC: He thought about it. He wasn't sure if he should or not. Maybe he shouldn't, maybe this wasn't the right time. Maybe this was where his new beginning ended. But he looked up at the moon, that happened ot be sitting up above the apartment. He smiled and turned to her. He was fate, not chance, not probability. He was.
"Sure... I'd like that." he said as he turned his head to her meaningfully. "I really don't want to walk all the way back to the school right now." he added as a reason. It wasn't his most important reason. It was true, yes, but the big reason why he didn't want to go to the apartment complex was much more Mitsuki oriented.
He opened the door to the complex and held it open for Mitsuki. One more open door, one more new beginning. Hopefully she would choose to walk through it, because Aris was stubborn and would hold that door open all night if she didn't plan on coming in.
He paused halfway through opening the door and opened his mouth to say something, stopped, and then decided to say it anyways. "Mitsuki... I'm happy you took off the mask." he said simply. But it was one of the truest things he had said that night. One of the most meaningful.

OOC: ...It's 5:18... So.... Blah......
When he held open the door, she was about to walk in until she heard him speak, which brought a small smile to her face and looked over at Aris before stepping through so he wouldn't have to hold it open longer. She moved up the steps quickly as her tired feet would carry, and once at the door, she wrapped her fingers around the handle and gently pushed, holding it open for Aris for a moment, then taking off her shoes as her wet jeans hit the dry carpet. Her brother came out of the shower, wearing his pajama bottoms and a over sized t-shirt with a towel around his shoulders, his dark brown orbs looking over at Mitsuki, then over at Aris. The thing that caught him off gaurd was the fact that she was smiling, and had her mask off in front of that boy whom she faught back at the beach.
"Nii-sama, Aris... Aris, my brother Reita."
Then she proceeded to talk to her brother in simple Japanese, asking if he could borrow a couple of his clothes, since they were around the same height. Reita nodded and went to his room, returning with a pair of baggy cargo's that he could sleep in and another over sized shirt, and other stuff needed as he handed them over to Aris.
"You feeling okay?"
"Yeah... Why?"
Her brother merely nodded as he went back to his room, turning on the lights of the bathroom as he went back.
"Bathroom is over there..."

OOC: XD sorry it took so long!
IC: Aris nodded to her as he took the clothes out of her hands. "Thanks...." Aris said softly. Despite still intrigued with Mitsuki he had becoming overwhelmingly curious as to why her brother had asked of her well being. It would seem obvious that she did not take off her mask often and that she did not usually bring boys to her apartment. But it made Aris curious nonetheless.
Aris turned towards the bathroom and he saw Mitsuki's brother disappear into his room. Aris ignored it, because once again something that was commonly done almost seemed out of place. He walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He quickly changed into Reita's clothes and he took his own with him.
He was trying to find Mitsuki. He was wondering if she had a balcony or if he should just put his wet clothes into the bathroom. He turned into the living room. He always felt ever so slightly uncomfortable in a place that wasn't his own. His own place was trashed up, but this one was nice. And he did not feel like throwing his wet clothes on the couch like he would in his dorm.

OOC: Your character's a pimp. =='' I don't think I want my character falling for Aris anymore. ?!
Once Aris stepped into the restroom, the red haired girl stepped into her own room, flipping on the light switch. She made her way into her closet, opening a plastic see-through drawer that held various baggy, comfortable pants. She slipped on dry, beige and blue loose sweat pants, along with a short sleeved black shirt that was ripped nearly everywhere, and wore a white undershirt. Collecting her wet clothes, she picked up her mask as well, and made her way back out, and opened a different closet where the washing machine and dryer were, and popped the lid open and dumped everything in there, turning on the water to a warm feeling. With that done, she knocked softly on her brothers door before entering, not bothering to close it, and picked up her brothers clothes in the corner, along with his white and beige mask to put in the washing machine.
Making her way out, she noticed Aris was in the livingroom, holding onto his soaking clothes. Walking over to him silently, she took the clothes from him, piling it on top of her brothers - and the white mask - before moving back towards the other end of the room and dumping the clothes into the washer again. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to get his clothes fully dry for another 4-6 hours or so. Shutting the lid and closing the doors of the closet, she turned and looked back over at Aris, before making her way up to the balcony doors, sliding them open and stepping in before waving towards the raven haired boy to follow if he wanted.'Cause I'm holding onto every thought of you.On the wall in the livingroom should've been a picture of Mitsuki and Andrew when they were younger, along with her brother. Mitsuki was in the middle, and Andrew had his arm around her shoulder, while her brother held up a peace sign and everyone grinned sheepishly. There should've also been paintings on the wall that she and her brother had done together, due to the fact that they both love to do the same things, really. A violin, an electric violin, along with a guitar and an electric guitar, with amps and cords were found in the corner of the livingroom; Mitsuki played the violin, while her brother played the guitar. They were both artisticly talented, somewhat, but both refused to show it to others. They preferred a quiet, private life. That all changed once she found out she was school captain. Only a small part of the reason why Mitsuki wore a mask.

OOC: Should've? And Yes... yes I am a Pimp! And besides, you know you can't resist *Flex*
IC: Aris smiled lightly as she took the clothes from him. But one thing caught his eye. Something that fnially sparked more than just intrigue. He saw her brother's mask. And immediately he began to wonder why they both wore masks. He figured that it was only Mitsuki, mostly because he had not seen her brother watching them fight. But seeing the mask, changed his idea in a way.
Aris followed her outside the balcony and closed the door behind him. He leaned over right beside her. He was leaning about an inch or less away from her. "So you're not the only one who wears a mask?" He asked as he turned his head away from the view and towards her. He was very interested in the entire topic. It was something he couldn't understand and he wanted to learn more.
"I saw his mask under the clothes." He added just in case she was going to ask where he had seen this. He had truthfully only seen a flash, but enough to tell that it was a mask. "Is there a reason his is a different color?" He asked, still eyeing her facial features intently. He wasn't doing it to try to read her like he usually does. He didn't do it to try and see what she was thinking. He did it because he wanted her image locked in his head before something or someone tried to get it out. Meaningly himself.

OOC: It deflated. Someone poked it with a needle and it went flat. (:
Leaning over the balcony, her elbow resting on the bar, she rested her chin on her hand and looked up at the sky, her facial expressions remaining the same as her deep yellow orbs stared into the night sky. While he asked the questions, Mitsuki remained silent, focusing on her thoughts as she merely went through a scene that played in her mind when Reita and Mitsuki were younger. Her red hair flowed gracefully behind her when the wind blew into her direction, brushing the bangs out of her eyes as she remained silent for a moment, letting a pause come after his question. A moment of silence, you could say. "Silence is golden" - that's what her brother believed. As if deep in thought, she remained still as if she didn't hear his questions, yet seconds later, she answered him with a quiet tone of voice.
"Yes."
Short, simple, and straight to the point. The two - as in Reita and Mitsuki - both had reasons for having different colors. He may have noticed that Reita's mask was lighter then Mitsuki's, since hers consisted of black and red, and his was beige and white. Reasons were unknown but to Mitsuki and Reita only. Even their step-parents, who live all the way in Japan, have no idea about their "masks". Their biological parents should know, but they don't. The whole "mask" thing was confusing to most, since they wouldn't understand Reita and Mitsuki's childhood very well. It was complicating to comprehend, and the fact that they didn't bother to even try to tell anyone anymore was what made her parents finally realize to stop bugging them.
And now the two made a "vow" to not tell anyone. Silly? It depended on how you thought of it. They preferred to keep their past lives a secret. Besides, if one knew your past, then it would be considered a weakness for most, due to the "horrible" things they went through. Unlike most people, Mitsuki and Reita don't care about their past, although it holds many weaknesses for most. The two think of the past as the past. If it catches up to the future, fine. They don't care, and honestly, if the past caught up with the present, then she would just end up killing someone she wants to.
Heh.
"Why are you so curious..."

OOC: Writer's Block >< And it did NOT go flat! *Flex's Deflated Muscles*
Aris chuckled lightly as soon as the question left her lips and registered in his head. "I have a dream.... " He said in a grand sort of voice, trying to impersonate Martin Luther King Jr. It was true all the same. He had reason for always being curious and always wanting to know things that perhaps it was better not to know. "I hope to learn one thing, but I don't quite know what it is yet." He explained as best he could.
He searched for this thing by trying to find clues of sorts. He did not know exactly what he was searching for, but he was set on finding it. He was set upon learning the secrets. He tried to find patterns in humans. Patterns in life. But so far he had gotten nowhere. He had gotten to nothing. He was still clueless.
"Why are you so reluctant to answer?" He asked her, but using less of that voice he had used when explaining himself and more of a warm voice. For once, he wasn't asking to find his question, he was asking because he wanted to know her.

"I'm not used to being asked..."
It was true. No one really bothered asking Mitsuki or Reita about their masks, since no one was really blunt these days. That, and the fact that Mitsuki and Reita may have looked a bit intimidating to a couple of people who actually tried to talk to them, since they don't really talk back either. It was difficult to converse with someone who refused to speak back, so they all ended up walking away, that, or Mitsuki and Reita just ignores them. They aren't talkers, and they're not really social either. Both dislike to talk, and both dislike to listen if the topic isn't something interesting. It's hard to please the two siblings, sure, but they never really asked to be pleased in the first place, did they?
She had to be truthful, she wasn't exactly following him when he said he was searching for something he didn't know, but eventually, it processed through her mind and was able to figure out what he meant, or close to it at least. Unlike him, Mitsuki knew exactly who, and what she was looking for. She also knew what and who her brother was looking for. A girl. A childhood crush that he's had for nine years, and still counting. Someone he'll never forget, you could say. He's also looking for Soo Nami - Mitsuki's Tae Kwon Do small group leader back when the two were still in it, and now? They're finished. No more belts, no more competition, except for the children at school.
And I'm searching for a lost memory.
The thing about Andrew is that his body disappeared from the hospital. The majority thought his body was "hijacked" from his gang members to give him a proper burial, yet when Mitsuki went to the alley to talk to the gang members, they weren't there, and her best luck was that they had moved on, to a different location so that the memory of their leader wouldn't haunt them. Yet, at the same time Mitsuki's looking for someone, she's also avoiding a couple of people. Hiding, you could say. Brian Chang. The boy who shot who could've been her fiance, her boyfriend, the father of her children, so and so... Then again, if Andrew were still alive, would she have been here? In California? Would she have met Aris? She thought to herself. Maybe everything happens for a reason. And she came to a conclusion - her own theory, you could say.
Everything does happen for a reason.

Aris looked at her, this time less of locking her picture and more reading her. Her face her words, the way she spoke, the way she looked. Whenever she drifted off into silence he assumed she was thinking. Mitsuki was not dumb, Aris could tell from the first bit of time he spent with her. And he doubted that she thought about nothing. Someone who was so focused on hiding their past must have a reason for it.
And despite Aris's better judgement, which was not commonly used anyways, he was determined to find out why. He was a very stubborn person and even though he knew that the end of this would possibly be bad and incredibly unfortunate for perhaps both, he simply had to know. If he didn't know, then what else might he not know? The answers to that question were limitless and he refused to allow it. So immediately Aris began to think of reasons why she might be trying to hide her past and the first words that came into his head were, "Just Ask."
Blunt and simple. Something that he could understand, something he didn't necessarily have to understand because he knew that chances were that she would not tell him. Chances were she would stick on with her small, unrevealing, and reluctant answers. But he did not flinch or waver in the asking of the question, he did not doubt his desire. "I doubt that is the only reason. I am almost positive that you have an uncanny ability to ignore questioner's anyways..." He paused and then his mind stumbled onto something.
"No... you probably can just push away all the curious ones. But there is something more to your reluctance. A reason for not wanting the past shared perhaps?" He asked curiously. Aris would be Aris and he was not planning on changing, not soon not later.

"I keep my past hidden for my own reasons."
Mitsuki stated off handedly, her eyes remaining on the night sky, her pupils still adjusting to the lack of light. A light breeze continued on from the balcony of where she was standing, and she heard a door quietly creak open, and she automatically knew it was her brother. Who else would be inside the house? She heard Reita's footsteps draw close and she closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath. She shifted herself a bit away from Aris, preparing herself as she lightly tapped her nail against the metal bar, making a light 'clicking' noise every time the two objects met. What was she bracing herself for? Well, every night before she went to bed, whether she was washing the dishes, doing the laundry, watching TV, etc., etc., he would always give her a little "test" of her skills so she wouldn't get rusty. Every night it's different. One day it would be about her reflexes, and the next would be how strong she was.
Tonight, she guessed, was reflexes. And she quietly muttered something softly so only Aris could hear.
"I hope you respect my will of keeping my past private."
With that, she automatically flipped herself backwards as she heard a "ting" sound when a metal fork clashed with the bar. It was like a game she and her brother played. If you broke something in the house, you lose. If you made a big mess, you lose. If you get hit by flying forks...you lose. This would go on for five minutes, and then it would be over. Series of forks hit the bars of the balcony, and Mitsuki was able to catch one out of the many Reita threw, and she chucked it back at him, which with ease, he was able to dodge.
The attack of the crazy twins...

Aris cocked an eyebrow as a mysterious fork came from seemingly nowhere and hit the metal bar right beside him. Of course Aris knew they wouldn't hit, he had the probability figured out and with the angle the door was open and the place from which the forks were shot there was no way it could reach Aris unless the person moved.
Now Aris assumed that Mitsuki knew who this was. Mostly because she was not freaking out. And also that the assailant was throwing forks and not knives. If knives were being thrown Aris might have gotten a little bit worried that someone was trying to kill them. But as long as it was only forks. Aris turned to his side and grabbed a fork by its hilt. He pulled it out violently from the bar and examined it.
"To tell you the truth Mitsuki. Ever since I met you.... I've become a little more curious about the present." He said as he eyed the quivering fork with an odd look in his eye. Then he turned towards her. "Out of curiousity do you know who is throwing forks at us?" He asked, now using that curious tone and not the slightly more serious one he had used with the sentence before.

"Reita."
Her answer was short, blunt, and quick. Why? Because metal forks came flying in, and in a second, they all stopped. A small sigh of relief escaped the young girls pale lips as she crouched down on the floor, picking up the metal forks quietly, careful to have them not clash into eachother to make any noise. Crawling on her hands and knees, she moved to the other side of the balcony, not sure of how much time passed, but definately not five. Counting mentally in her mind, she pounced up and threw three of the metal forks in the direction she guessed her brother was in, and then...? Nothing. Silence. Why? A fork got caught on her brothers shirt, which meant only one thing to the both of them.
Game over.
Yay! Mitsuki won~! The two then proceeded to pick up the forks that were on the ground, and one by one the metal utensils for eating disappeared off the ground, and ended up in Reita's hands. Soon enough, the room and the condo was clean from the shiney silver metal sharp item, and she returned back to the balcony, feeling just a little tired. Giving a mental yawn, yes, a mental yawn, she leaned against the metal bar, letting her eyes rest at the sky once again.
"You can stay over in the guest bedroom..."
She muttered quietly, her eyes drooping, her breathing light as she pushed herself up, and walked over to the couch, laying down. Mitsuki was one to always found the small spaces more confortable, like couches and corners and such, which was quite odd because she lived in a roomy place. Within minutes, Mitsuki fell into a slumber on the couch, her head resting against the arm of the couch, curled up into a ball, her red bangs falling over her face, while her brother placed a blanket over her. His white eyes scanning his sister for any marks, and if she was "damaged" or something, then turned around and waved for him to follow.
"She prefers smaller areas... Guest rooms onto your left."

OOC: I pulled a Ghiste. Five paragraphs about one thing.
"Thanks..." He was about to say that he was not planning on spending the night. Mostly because he wished to spend the night outside and was slightly frightened he would be attacked by forks in the middle of the night. But he was less concerned of that than he was of waking anyone else up. He wasn't really a tight sleeper. He was usually restless at night, but decided that he had nowhere to go.
He turned the corner on his left, assuming that the fork throwing was a natural thing and did not just come by because of him. So he was almost able to come into bed without a mind full of curiousity, but not quite. Mitsuki still had him confused. He had truly always wondered about the past. Always. He had always wanted to know the reasons why people do things.
But ever since he had seen her, he had almost forgotten the past until she brought it up. Until she had told him the reason for her mask. 'A Mask to Hide the Past' was what she had said. And even with that in mind he was focusing on the present. On what the words that were swimming in his head right now meant.
Time stood still, as it always did, he layed awake with all the lights off. His cell phone, always on silent, lay sitting on his lap and the numbers shone out. He couldn't seem to close his eyes at all. He took a deep breath and slowly got up and threw on his pants. Well actually they were Reita's pants, but he was borrowing them for the moment so his mind felt okay saying they were his own. Aris slowly opened the door to the guest room and made his way to the balcony.
Aris opened the door quietly, knowing the this family had likely heard him, but he was still holding onto the false hope that he had been unheard. He closed the door and it made a tiny little insulated pfffft sound. He smiled quietly and layed down on the balcony floor as he looked up at the clouds. The moon still shone down. It was almost 4:00 A.M. A few minutes earlier, but Aris always rounded time.
Finally, sleep hit him.
