Patting Kaori on the head and ruffling her hair a little as a sign of his thanks, Kaori would giggle happily and beam at Mitsuki.
"You welcome Mitsu!"
Her manners and serving her 'elders' first was partly taught to her by Kazuya, but it mostly stemmed from her personality itself. She loved those that loved her back, so naturally she'd make sure everyone had food first before she did. Taking a small bite from her onigiri, she would happily eat away at it, a slightly amused smile tugging at the corners of Kazuya's mouth.
"... I'm sure you had a simply splendid time writing all those morbid letters."
Kazuya retorted back sarcastically as Kaori giggled back at Mitsuki. After she was done her onigiri, she would grab another one before getting up and running down to the shoreline, happily running away from the waves as they crashed down, leaving the two of them by themselves as Kazuya watched his baby daughter with a content look on his face.
"... April Fools or not, if you really were kidnapped Mitsuki, I would go after you. It wouldn't matter how many people I'd have to go through, I'd take them all down to get you back."

Mm. Getting kidnapped was embarrassing. She had already gone through the process of being kidnapped and saved by her fellow classmates against the gods, and she would make damn sure she was never in such a position ever again. Although she did make some lasting relationships, everything about the situation was demeaning to what she stood for...or at least, what she stood for at the time.
If she didn't know Kazuya and wasn't sure of the kind of friendship the two held, she would have suspected from his words that he had something along the lines of romantic interest towards Mitsuki. But, to her, it seemed in Kazuya's nature to be more than willing to protect those close to him, and Mitsuki was thankful that he held her in such high regard- whether this was because of her growing attachment to Kaori (and vice versa), or something else was beyond her.
"Likewise."
She didn't have many friends...but the ones she did have, she kept close to her heart. The thought of friends made her miss Chicago and the ones she left behind, but she knew she would be seeing them again in the future.

Mitsuki was correct, it wasn't just because Kaori was greatly attached to Mitsuki and vice versa, that Kazuya was willing to go to great lengths to protect her, but also at the very core of his nature, he would do anything to ensure those close to him were safe. Beyond that, he did indeed not hold any romantic interest towards Mitsuki, and if he did, well just like in high school, he was utterly unaware of such feelings. All he knew right now was he loved Emily, and only her, though that could change. I'm his player, and even I have no idea.
Smiling slightly at Mitsuki, he'd pull down the hood of his ninja clothing, the light, warm ocean breeze gently swishing his spiky jet black hair.
"Mitsu! Daddy! Come play!"
Kaori would call from the shoreline, Kazuya smiling slightly at her as he climbed to his feet, holding a hand out to Mitsuki.
"... It seems we have been summoned. Shall we?"

Mmm. Mitsuki would have to be careful not to get her top wet, since it was a white v-neck. She nodded her head before she slipped her cold hand into his, firmly holding on before hauling herself up. She would have followed behind him, feeling a bit nostalgic of the entire situation. She and Andrew often played around with each other- not necessarily pranks, but goofing off was a frequent activity. And Sierre...she loved the water, whether it was raining or snowing, pool or lake.
Was it odd? To feel as if, in this precise moment, she did not belong? That Emily should have been here, in her place- or Andrew and Sierre should have been here in theirs.
She dismissed the thought as her feet hit the waters. Her hands would reach down and scoop some water before sprinkling it in Kaori and Kazuya's direction. Yayyyy.

Holding Mitsuki's cold hand in his warm, roughened hand, once she had pulled herself up to her feet and gotten her balance, he would release her hand, leading the way down to the shoreline, where Kaori waited for them. Mitsuki wasn't the only that felt that way though. For a moment, Kazuya felt like he didn't belong, that instead of him and Kaori, it should be Mitsuki's daughter and the father of her daughter, or that instead of Mitsuki, it should be Emily here.
But that feeling was fleeting, and disappeared instantly as Kaori splashed water at her daddy, sprinkling him as he raised one arm to block the water, and would smile slightly at Kaori... only to end up splashed again, this time by Mitsuki. Kaori laughing happily, she would scoop more water in her hands and splash Mitsuki back, running away before Mitsuki could get her back... and would end up being splashed anyways, this time by her daddy, who also sent a splash Mitsuki's way, running away to avoid retaliation, moving at a reasonable pace.
