Cain narrowed his eyes at the man, and at Delilah's mention of he and some 'weird twins' having attacked her; did she mean Vespyr and Vincent? Nah, that didn't make sense. Whatever. Clearly Saul wasn't listening to him; maybe he'd listen to Ari.
"Alright kid go get 'im." Cain sighed, lowering the exhausted teen down from his shoulder despite his quiet protests. Ari stood on shaky legs for a moment, casting a wary glance at his surroundings. Thankfully Lucien was nowhere to be seen. He drew in a breath and he trudged forward toward Saul both begrudgingly and timidly. The leash trailed from his hand.
"hey man, can we please go home now?.."

Delilah raised a brow in bitter amusement at the feral young man. Oh yes, he remembered her. Her face became a little grim as she advanced, keeping behind Ari as she came forward. If he didn't remember the young man, then it would be up to all of them to round him up and get him back to the urban jungle he'd come from.
So all that remained was to see what he would do next.

Upon seeing Ari and Cain approach, Lucien became that much more determined to stay stealthed. So, when Delilah and co. got into range to deal with the front, Lucien scattered to the side and circled the block, hoping to stop the man from fleeing. This was a retrieval op, after all.
Hopefully no one noticed the ripples of air that followed his movements, for if they did, they would definitely know it was him.

Saul's growling would die to a quiet almost purr as the small teen approached, and while his expression dulled to a neutral blank look, the man was pleased to see a thing he recognized as good. Unable to remember the name of the creature in front of him, he just sort of stared until he was close enough to reach out and would attempt to gently rest a large hand on the top of the smaller creature's fluffy head.
Grinning, or at least inwardly, Saul believed he appeared friendly and hoped the little thing would be happy to see him, but the man's focused stare would probably appear slightly unsettling unless Ari's comfort level around the beast had prepared for such situations. Recalling that there was a Bad Feeling person and a Shouty Person and possibly still a No Longer Visible Person, the beast became concerned for the safety of the fluffy one. In a moment of impulse, Saul would grab Ari around the waist and toss the teen over his right shoulder all in one fluid motion as he spun around and began to sprint towards the large tree he had spotted earlier.
If Lucien attempted to interfere with his mission, the invisible man would likely find that the force and weight behind Saul's charge towards the foliage would be enough to either knock him over or out of the way.
Continuing onward as fast as he can and ignoring any protests Ari might have, Saul began to climb the tree at an impressive, drug-and-fear-fueled speed, reaching the bows that brushed the roof of the building it rested on in under two minutes. Should Leech or the rest of the recovery crew attempt to approach the tree, they would find that Saul had set Ari down gently next to him on the branch and had supplied himself with a few lemon-sized pods from the tree to throw at those who approached, though his accuracy would be questionable at best. Perhaps the trio would even find the man throwing the pods and absolutely nothing.

"what the fu--
"Saul no
"where are we even going?
"no not the tree Saul that is a dumb idea can we not--
"god damnit Saul how are we going to get down?
"Saul they can see up my dress i don't think you thought this through can we please go home now," Ari sighed in a shaky voice, clinging somewhat fearfully to the trunk of the tree. Good thing he wasn't afraid of heights. The young man closed his eyes and tried to pretend none of this had even happened. Then he remembered the leash.
A look of revelation lit up Ari's face and he carefully reached over to clip the end of the leash back to Saul's rather large septum piercing. Hoping.
Meanwhile, Cain found himself less annoyed and more amused at the sudden turn of events, but after a good minute of chuckling his face relaxed back into a somewhat aggravated look. If Saul didn't come down soon, he'd have to go up and get him, and probably get hit by whatever the man was throwing. Cain sighed a little, growling begrudgingly.

Delilah let out a long, irritated sigh as she watched Saul kidnap the slightly inept Ari and haul him up a tree. She just stared up at them in mild bewilderment (Why is this happening to me?) and couldn't help but crack a small grin at the sound of Cain's laughter.
She looked back at him with a raised brow gesturing to the tree. "Well, come on then, birthday boy. Up ya go."

Lucien's thought process seemed to be something like this, as he watched the scene unfolding before him.
Hey, Ari's calming him down. Oh, no, wait, he's bolting! ... Right up a tree. With Ari. Great. Why does everyone seem to be having such a good time with this, except me? I can't even show my face to them yet, what's wrong with me? Am I still caught up over that night? ... Let's save those thoughts for later. Where's my mask? Darn, I couldn't even put it on right now. Plus I'm worried about what that mask does over long periods of time, and I don't know how long this will take.
Wait, what's Ari doing now? He's... is that a leash around his neck? Which would mean... He glanced back to Cain for an instant, as a sickening feeling started in his stomach. But, then he noticed what exactly Ari was doing with the leash.
What. He's... Oh, that is so unsanitary! His nose ring? What if it gets tugged too hard? It would, oh goodness...
And, Lucien decided to edge forward a bit, to get closer to the situation. He ended up a few feet behind Delilah, away from Cain as much as possible. He, and Ari and Saul for that matter, reeked of booze. Not to mention the outrageous outfits they were all in, and the bloodstains on their hands caused by littering decapitated heads everywhere. It was really all a bit much for Lucien to handle. But as he looked up at the situation unfolding, he was silently hoping that he had a chance to show his face to the young boy before they were on their way.
At the same time, though, he was hoping he wouldn't.

Saul turned to Ari just as the boy hooked the leash once again to the bigger man's nose. Heartbroken, the beast's face fell and he looked to the French Maid as if the young boy had ruined his entire life. A soft, whiney "nooooooooooooooo...." slipped from between his lips, his first words in upwards of an hour. Somehow, the reattachment of the leash had tamed the man from his previous state and now he was vaguely aware of his surroundings. Down on the ground was Leech...and the fucking woman from way back when.
God damnit. Of all the times to be wearing a tutu and wings, it would be when she shows up. Reaching down, Saul grabbed the tutu by the waistband and tore the garment straight off his body, leaving him with only his spandex underwear to cover him lower self. The same treatment was given to the wings he wore, as Saul tossed them too down towards Leech.
While he was certainly now done with his peak on LSD, Saul's vision had not corrected itself, and instead the halos of beauty that surrounded everything, even the people below, assured the man that the drug had not worn off. Maybe this was his life now. Maybe this would be all he could see. Forever.
"How...get down"

A sigh of tired relief passed Ari's lips as Saul appeared to regain some of his mental capabilities. The boy closed his eyes for a long moment, swaying like a leaf on the branch. He shook his head and shrugged quite jadedly.
"i told you man. about the tree."
Ari opened his eyes and peered down the length of the gnarled tree trunk with a sinking feeling, or more like a falling feeling, like his stomach had just plummeted to the ground with rest of him still clinging to the branch. He breathed in and slid closer to the trunk, tentatively reaching down his shoe to feel around for the nearest branch. He lowered himself slowly and then glanced up at Saul, pulling carefully on the leash. The young man did not look amused, but rather, just kind of empty.
Cain was standing at the foot of the tree staring up, after having stuck his tongue somewhat peevishly at Delilah. There wasn't much to do but watch the slow descent of the two boys in the tree, now that they were at least not just sitting there. He could... shake the tree... that might make them go faster. But he opted not to.
For now.

And all Delilah needed to do was wait and watch as the two young men clambered down the tree--though Saul had stripped off his ridiculous tutu and was left looking even more ridiculous, like a reject from ballet tryouts.
But she was too tired and worried to really laugh about it, though it was somewhat amusing. She would just stand under the tree and wait with Cain, ready to catch anyone if they so happened to fall.

Lucien watched in silence as the duo descended the tree slowly. Absently, his eyes wandered to Ari, who was, indeed, wearing an outfit that left nothing to the imagination... Like, nothing at all...
...
Losing his concentration, Lucien became visible again. He stood behind Delilah, slightly to her side. Staring at the boys. And his face was quite red.

Drugs and animals were always very difficult things to make predictions on. Maybe you would be right about it, but there is a large possibility that things would go awry and a six and a half foot tall man would lose his mind, kidnap a young boy, and climb a very large tree without considering that some time soon he would have to descend.
Ari could tug on the leash all he wanted, Saul would be unable to speed up as he carefully reached his foot to the branch Ari was on and felt around, a task made increasingly difficult by the LSD that altered his depth perception and spacial awareness greatly. It would likely take the boys 20 minutes and a whole lot of pausing before the maid and the ex-fairy reached the ground.
Saul stood where he was at the roots of the tree, an unfaltering stare fixed on the three people in front of him. That guy! The one! He was back from being gone and disappearing in the middle of the street, and it would be apparent the man noticed as a lanky arm pointed out towards Lucien as his eyebrows raised and insisted everyone looked.
He had done it. He found the guy. Mission accomplished, they could all go home.

Cain glanced to his right as Lucien appeared, furrowing his brow in silent confusion. Then, after a moment, his devious red glare slid over the young man in a completely conspicuous once-over, though Lucien's attention seemed to be elsewhere...
Ari occasionally glanced up at Saul from his lower branch, doing his best to keep one step ahead so Saul wouldn't forget what their goal was, here. At least they seemed to be making progress. He even managed to keep from looking down, and just kept telling himself the ground wasn't that far away...
But eventually there were no more branches to step down onto. Ari finally mustered the nerve to look down and realized with a breath of relief that all he had to do was jump down. So he did. As he stood picking the bits of bark and leaves out of his hair and re-adjusting the damn dress around his thin waist, about to just tear the garment off in frustration when his eyes meandered up... and saw that Lucien was there, after all.
The young man froze, suddenly panic-stricken. Torn between being embarrassingly naked except for his boxer briefs, or embarrassingly still wearing a fucking dress. He tried to look away but found himself staring at Lucien again nonetheless. He still hadn't moved from where he stood. Thankfully his hair hung messily and left his face somewhat shadowed, because it was just as red as the other boy's was, if not redder.
The silence was... palpable.
It was Cain who finally broke it, though, by stepping over to Saul and putting his hands on the man's shoulders. He leaned in close, muttering...
"You're dumb."
He took the leash and strode over to unwind the end of it from a still very dumbstruck Ari's wrist, and then began to stalk back down the street. He threw a mischievous grin Delilah's way as he passed, coyly lifting a long arm to settle over her shoulders.
"So, you free tonight?~"
Ari finally broke from his speechless stupor and cleared his throat, crossing his arms in feigned nonchalance as he let his gaze follow the others for a moment.
"so, uhm... long time no see, i guess.." he quietly said. Any louder and the nervousness would have made his voice waver.

Delilah felt the little shadow near her shoulder before Lucien reappeared, to whom she gave a quick nod of acknowledgement before turning her attention back to the two headed back DOWN the tree--but not before she caught Cain's less than subtle eyeing of Lucien.
Suddenly protective, Delilah's eyebrows jolted up warningly and she slipped in front of Lucien to block Cain's view. She didn't know what the man was thinking or what inclinations he might have, but knowing it was Cain was enough for her. The message was clear; No.
Once the tree was vacated and everyone was staring uncomfortably at each other--save for Cain, obviously, who looked like he was having a grand old time-- and Delilah just stood there looking exasperated. At least, until Cain made his way towards Saul. She turned her head to Lucien and jerked her head at the young man in the dress with a slow blink. Permission granted.
In the meantime, she had to turn her attention back to Cain with a mischievous smile of her own ignoring the subtle thrill in her nerves as he draped his arm over her shoulder.
"So, you free tonight?~" [/blockquote] Chuckling, she fell into step beside him...the beginnings of an idea working into her mind. The best idea."I am now." she replied back casually, turning her head a moment to regard Saul and the leash around his piercing. Poor guy was gonna have a hell of a crash.

And Lucien realized he was staring right around the time he realized that he had become visible again.
"Oh.. shit..." He muttered. All eyes went to him, and Saul Kelly pointed at him with an incredulous look on his face. He was staring at Ari, still, and they seemed to have locked gazes for a time.
Delilah moved in front of him after a nod, as if shielding him from something. He didn't know what, though. Maybe she was getting to know him, and how much he hated being pointed at..
Ari was still staring at him though. The silence disturbed him, like an itch that you couldn't bring yourself to scratch. When it was finally broken, Lucien smiled awkwardly.
"Y-yeah, I guess so. How.. have you been?" He stepped forward after Delilah nodded her permission.
Ari looked... Weird. Like he wanted desperately to take off the insane getup he was wearing, but at the same time didn't want to be almost nude. If Lucien had a coat, he would have draped it over the young boy's shoulders.
He also looked incredibly tired. And hungover. His hair was disheveled and knotted, and Lucien found himself wanting to brush it...
