Saul snapped his jaws in a not so subtle warning when Leech neared his face, eying Cain closely as he was lead somewhere else presumably with Delilah in tow. A sort of antagonistic grin spread across his face, unforgiving points reaching out from his maw, as the man holding the other end of the leash wrapped an arm around the woman. Strange giggling shook his chest at the very idea of Leech being into women. It made perfect sense if he was, but the beast was uninhibited by the world at the present, thanks to Leech, and so between laughs he managed to sputter out his question:
"Dude, aren't you gay~?" His laughter continued, for no discernible reason as they moved onward towards where ever. After a minute or two, Saul's giggling stopped abruptly, and the man grew serious. Speeding up his steps caught him up with the duo and looking straight ahead he thought quietly. "Where are we going? Are we going back to territory? I wanna go back to territory." A pause as he turned to Leech, expression softening, and there was an oddly needy or childlike sound to his request" "Can you take me to Jaq'th?"
Little would be said for the remainder of their journey, as Saul sat in quiet, awed confusion for what he saw around him.

Cain turned over his shoulder to throw Saul a snide grin.
"What, you are?" he teased, before turning his attention back to Delilah. . . . Ari just sighed, groaning a little inwardly, at the question. He tiredly let his eyes close as he shrugged with an air far surpassing nonchalance. "great, really." he answered in a voice passionless to the point of sarcasm. It all seemed really self-explanatory to Ari and he didn't feel the need to mention anything about how this was the first time they'd spoken since the last time, over a month and a half ago. He opened his eyes and glanced at Luca with his brow raised a little expectantly, as if to return the question, or perhaps furtively cutting straight to the point of 'why the heck did i never hear from you again?'...It would be whichever cue Lucien picked up on, of course. . . . The red truck slowed in front of a certain neighborhood wherein resided a certain foreigner whose residence Saul had requested to be dropped off at. The truck slowed, but never really stopped, not quite. It inched along waiting for Saul to disembark before steering away with rude abruptness, heading home to another neighborhood several blocks away. Cain parked the truck just outside the apartment building, as he had been doing for the past few weeks ever since a certain someone had disappeared and no longer demanded the return of the car keys. It was pretty much his car now, the way Cain saw it. Everything was already pretty much his, the way he saw it.[/blockquote]

Sitting in the cab of the truck with Cain, Delilah tossed the man a wry, mischievous look out of the corners of her eyes.
"Did you have fun on your birthday?" she almost purred, looking sultry as ever.

Lucien smiled with the inherent sarcasm to Ari's remarks. He was about to respond to Ari's look, thinking it was just a rebound of the question. But then, he looked beyond the look and he saw... the look.
And he gulped, thinking of all the things he'd been putting off thinking about. The fact that his first intimate experience was with a boy, what's more, a boy young enough for him to go to jail, if there was still jails. How he had never felt anything like it, not with a woman... Not even her...
And he was going to say all these things, and tell Ari that he was trying desperately not to think of them, because they made him even more confused than ever. That he wanted to force himself to think that it was just a fluke, that it was a random one-time thing that would probably never happen again, but no matter how hard he tried, his mind kept going back to the pure ecstasy of the moment... And he was going to tell Ari all about this, explaining everything...
"I... I've been... Really.... Busy..." He spluttered out. And then he realized how he'd said that.
"N-Not that that's why I haven't seen you, or anything! I'm not deflecting, or trying to excuse it..." He stammered, pausing to gain his composure before speaking again. He softly smiled as he looked on to the boy.
"I'm sorry I didn't try to see you again. And, I could say a bunch of things about how I'm confused, and thinking about what happened makes me more confused, but really, it doesn't change anything.." His tone was more than slightly apologetic. As he trailed off again, his eyes went down to the ground. Then, they shot back up to Ari's.
"Wanna hang out?"

As Cain slipped out of the car he turned to lean against the doorway for a moment with his forearm, leaning in a little.
"Hell yeah," he chuckled, the corner of his mouth twisting with almost incredulousness-- 'you kidding?' The horns near his temples itched almost pleasantly, overly pleased with the turnout of the night's events. A testament to that was the blood that stained his chest and splattered his jeans, if not simply the rather toothy grin he wore.
"But the fun never ends, doll~"
The car door swung shut and Cain sauntered toward the apartment building, jingling the keys around his finger with a sly backward glance.
. . .
Ari folded his arms under his chest and clutched at his elbows, looking at the ground. The corner of his mouth twitched into a slightly sympathetic frown for a moment as he avoided the other's gaze but he remained otherwise silently stoic, too tired to appear any other way.
Do i want to hang out?
...He didn't not want to hang out, but...
"dude, i'm in a dress..." and i'm fucking exhausted.
"...but okay, i guess." he yawned.

Grinning back at him with impishness, she watched him flounced up the walk way as he was wont to do and up to his apartment. Delilah thought she hid it well, the little spark of malevolent intent in her bright blue eyes, a spark that could easily be misconstrued as a yearning for the sort of mischief they both seemed to be so very fond of.
So, the mechanic followed the bobbing red eye on the back of his skull through the dark and up to his apartment, where the night would continue~.
And Delilah would smile.
. . .
The morning after, Cain would find his bed empty. Perhaps not unusual, but there would also be no note left behind and nor would there be any indication Delilah had been there at all, save for the memory of the night prior.
Eventually, however, as the man went about his daily business, he would find certain...irregularities in his surroundings. In truth, it had taken quite a considerable amount of assistance from the vengeful, indignant Crows, especially on such short notice, but it was pulled off quite nicely.
Outside the apartment would be a veritable chaos. Two streets were covered in a treacherous combination of water and liquid bubble bath that had turned the cracked asphalt into a skating rink. One whole block was a deep, ink black, the buildings and the road saturated in old, used oil. On another, streamers and balloons...filled with gasoline fumes. Another, knee high silt from the rubble around them, cloying to the throat and obscuring to the eyes. Then there was the street of syrup. And the street of ruined clothing (literally every square inch being covered by fabric)...
And on Cain's front porch was every single head he decapitated and had left strewn carelessly about in Crow territory like a rambunctious child who had forgotten to pick up after himself. The street outside was one of those covered in the appallingly messy candy scented bubble bath. On the pile sat a note on blood stained a paper with what was unmistakably Delilah's handwriting.

Lucien looked over the boy, as if just realizing the situation they were both in. Uh...
"On second thought, maybe another time.. You look pretty tired.. And you are in a dress... I'll come see you soon, okay?" He stated, trying himself to think of the logistics of coming to see Ari in Rogue territory... Yeah, that would go well...

Ari closed his eyes and agreed passively with a few slow, tired nods, hardly even registering what Lucien was saying except that they were parting ways. A polite smile attempted to creep across his face, got halfway there, and remained wanly for a few moments before he turned to follow after the others, Cain and Delilah and Saul, before they left without him.
