I whistled in amusement, looking up at Shugo. Now, I could dodge this no problem, but that would take all the fun out of things. Starting to charge lightning into my own hands, I stood my ground, gaining as much power as I could for this short moment. As Shugo would slam his hands down towards me, I'd bring mine back up towards him, colliding mine with his. The resulting shockwave was enough to fly back towards the house, sending the door to the manor flying off of its hinges.

I stood my ground as much as I could, but the impact of the extra momentum Shugo gained had caused me to fall to my knees, and my arms tingled with pain, it likely hurt me a lot more than it did him, and my body couldn't take nearly as much as him. I had to start playing it smarter.

The force from Valo's electricity hitting mine was enough to keep me afloat for a few moments while the raw amount of voltage battled it out. In the end, neither won and both let out another huge shock wave, leaving me flying through the again. This time against my own volition. Was that the front door? I couldn't really tell i only saw it for a few moments as we both sailed through the air. I slammed down on the ground and heard a crack. Nothing on me was broken or overly in pain. I couldn't really tell what the sound was so I shrugged it off and got back up. Another crack. Weird.

"Shugo Yuy. Valo Morei. What do you two boys think you're doing?"

I froze in my tracks. There was my beautiful girlfriend. Oh yeah. In case you guys didn't know who she was, this is Jacket Ankari. Yes Ankari. She is Faust's baby sister. I originally began as her bodyguard. While Faust and I had been mortal enemies, he decided that I was the only one strong enough that he trusted to take care of his little sister. Well things progressed and we're now kind of sort of engaged? It's a long story. Anyways. I felt my lightning dissipate and my QI disengage.
