Last night you dreamed you were in a cave, and it was so dark that you could hardly see a thing at all. Ahead of you, vaguely loomed two distinct places where the darkness deepened and you recognized them at the entrances of tunnels.
There was a faint sound echoing from the tunnel on the left, soft like humming.
The tunnel on the right was silent but a faint breeze drifted from its mouth.
- I followed the tunnel on the left.
- I followed the tunnel on the right.

"How the hell did I end up here again..?[/i]"
I muttered under my breath as I slowly trudged through the cave. I don't know what compelled me to walk through a cave of all things, maybe I thought it was a good idea at the time. Now I see that I was quite wrong. This was a situation that wouldn't be so mad if Shugo were here with me, it'd be fun. Now I was on my own, just cursing my luck because I was the only person I know who'd be caught in a situation like this.
I stopped when it looked like the path split ahead, and let my eyes adjust a little better to see what looked like two different paths, each conveniently placed within separate tunnels. I stayed completely silent, freezing up a bit when I heard a strange sound coming from the left tunnel... it sounded like someone was in there. Yeah, no. Fuck that. That's too goddamn creepy.
I could feel a slight breeze coming from the second tunnel, maybe that meant there was an exit that way. I decided to take the tunnel on the right, hoping my instincts could lead me out of this dark, damp, and crappy place.

You wandered down the tunnel on the right a little ways, and nothing changed.
Then suddenly, a rather strong gust of cold air buffeted you, almost as if it was coming from the floor. It was still too dark to see anything.
- I continued forward anyhow.
- I turned back.

It was still too dark for me to see much of anything. I just kept following the breeze, hoping that it would lead me to some kind of freedom. I was starting to remember what sunlight even looked like at this point.
Suddenly, the air around me seemed to grow a lot stronger. I started to shiver and rubbed my arms with my hands, trying to get some warmth. A t-shirt definitely wasn't apparel for being stuck in a deep and cold cave. But something seemed odd about this breeze, it's like it was coming from the floor. Did that mean that there was a big drop in front of me?
Plummeting to my death isn't exactly on my bucket list... I don't know if I want to risk this. I thought, looking behind me to see where I had just come from. There was another tunnel... but I had no idea what was on the other side of it. I guess it didn't hurt to check it out. I shrugged and walked back the way I came, still rubbing my arms for warmth.

You turned around and avoided plummeting to your death, thankfully. But as you walked back the way you came you happened to step on something... it felt like thin, soft plastic underfoot.
Picking it up felt like the right thing to do, and then you woke up.
YOU FOUND THE SPORK OF GOOD DECISIONS. WHAT THE FUCK YOU JUST GAINED 5 INT. It's also useful if you need a fork that also works dually as a spoon. Seriously whoever invented that shit was a genius.
