Last night you dreamed you were somewhere very cold and far away, a silent world of snow and ice under the pitiless Arctic sun. Up ahead you could see a rather large fissure in the ice and an old rope wrapped tightly about an outcrop of solid ice. When you drew nearer and looked down, you found the frozen body of an unfortunate climber hanging precariously from the ice precipice above a seemingly bottomless drop.
It didn't seem right to just leave him hanging there in a limbo, neither safe nor fallen.
- I pulled him up.
- I unfastened the rope and let him fall.

((OOC: Since I didn't rewrite my QI I won't be using it in here..Qi was Psi energy/telekinesis...Like I said not using it for above reason ^^)) My body shivered against the arctic air. Short sleeves was soooo not appropriate for such weather. At least my lower half was a little ok with jeans and boots. Fingerless gloves are alright but they ain't helping so much right now. Why the hell are we never prepared in our minds for this stuff? Whatever. Looking around my new snowy accommodations I really couldn't think of any other reason for being here except for one. I must be looking for the Fortress of Solitude! Why else would I venture to such lands? I always used to wonder about it, maybe I've wondered too much considering I'm here now. Awesome. But how could I be sure I was in the right place? There are plenty of snowy places like this. Great this is going to be harder than I thought. Batman would probably take three hours, give or take to find it. Well I'm sorry I don't have a freaking batcave with all the latest gadgets and all the time in the world to do so. I have a freaking family thank you very much and what the hell is that over there? Cautiously I paused now realizing where I was. I had been rambling to myself a little to long to notice the path. I looked around curiously as I began to walk forward slowly. My arms crossed over my chest trying to keep warm. ~I wish I had a horse that could trot on the ice.. But then again this was no place for a horse..~My mind was dancing again with thoughts even more so when I looked over the edge to see the climber. Poor thing was just dangling there frozen. ~That must've really sucked.. Poor soul..~I thought to myself for a few short moments. The thought was pretty easy in the end. This climber had gear. I could use that gear. I would like a pick axe. I may or may not be raiding tombs but it would come in handy as a melee weapon and climbing tool of course. And maybe his jacket too if it's not so frozen over. I get that stuff I could continue on the path to the Fortress of Solitude. I just want to see it. I could care less about mister overpowered Superman. Besides feeling compelled to not leave him strung in limbo I grabbed the rope, found some footing and started moving backwards while pulling. I had no intention of being near that edge with this fella. Aside from not wanting to fall to my death. I highly doubted there was a stack of hay waiting down there for me. I was really hoping he wasn't a necromorph. ~Please don't be a necromorph...Not a necromorph... I don't have a plasma cutter....Not a necromorph please..~[/ul]

You pulled up the frozen body with some effort. You noticed one of his gloved hands were clenched as if he was holding onto something, and the faintest enticing glimmer of metal could be seen... but you'd have to break off his frozen fingers to get to whatever he held in his palm.
- I broke his fingers off, I want what he's got. Plus he doesn't need it anymore; he's dead.
- I left him alone, whatever it is doesn't belong to me.

I thought as I finally got the body up to the surface. For a moment I forgot I was even cold until the chill passed through again. ~Thanks for the reminder mother nature....That better be mother nature and not Superman throwing his ice breath on me for laughs.~Cautiously I walked over to the frozen climber. I still was hoping that he wouldn't turn into some necromorph as soon as I got closer. This icy place was not reminding me of anything nice. Well except that Fortress. Oooo shiny! The Eury likes shiny! Though faint it still drew attention considering. ~What were you looking for that you died for?~Curiosity killed the cat they say, but at a many times it rewarded the feline. I crouched near the body more towards the side of his head and away from that cliff. Technically what he had didn't belong to me, well of course if it did I would have it and not him. I don't recall losing anything in such a dominion. And well it really wasn't his anymore was it? Finders keepers? With a small grimace I started to break one finger and paused. ~Shit..what if what he has is a trigger to something? Like a bomb..shit...This sucks.. Wait, I'll just wake up right?.. ~Inception for the win? Let's hope so. What the hell at this point it's worth the risk. What's the worst that could really happen right? Besides I wants it. Continue on I did as swiftly as possible. "Don't you dare magically wake up mister.."~Cause if I was to get startled I will probably be stomping the hell out of you. Don't do it~This could be a huge mistake but here is the best place to make them. I'm safe for the most part.[/ul]

Nothing happened as you broke the climber's fingers off, except a quiet not-too-pleasant crackling of course. Thankfully the glove kept his hand mostly intact so there weren't broken finger shards everywhere, that would be nasty.
The climber's hand opened to reveal a silver pocket watch, lightly encrusted with ice. The hands of the delicate clock were frozen on the time 11:59. Then you woke.
At that time the next day a frigid and ghostly gust of wind swept past, a strange call back to the dream you had last night.
You gained 5 WIS.
