OOC: I'm assuming people will just be doing their own thing until Marcus makes an appearance doing GM-y things. :3
She wasn't sure of what, but out on the streets (somewhere along neutral territory), there was a huge celebration going on. Dancers breaking out on home made platforms, musicians playing their well-kept instruments, puppet shows running for the children, who were running along with candy in their hands... Of course, this celebration was nothing like how it once was before Barker happened, but given their circumstances? It looked like fun. People were crowding the streets to look at these performers, and Mitsuki herself- as someone who was previously a dancer and violinist, looked on with interest.
She crossed her arms in front of her chest, her fingers lightly tapping her arms to the rhythm and beat of the music. Eyes shifted around to see if she saw any familiar faces before turning back to the entertainment. The beats of finely shaped sticks striking a plastic bin with the melody of string instruments harmonically pieced together made this girl miss the feel of her violin. It was one thing she wish she had brought with her, but left in Chicago. Except playing it wouldn't be the same, with the strings in need of replacement. Heh.
She eyed the violin.
She was part of a crowd that was listening and watching a single group play. There were many groups lined along the streets creating something intangible but something heartfelt. Music and laughter filled the air- something she felt was so precious these days...but couldn't help but anticipate for something (or someone) to be the ruin of so much (temporary) happiness.

David sat, apple in hand, on the roof of a nearby house, left leg strung casually over the edge while the other was used as a prop for the arm holding his fruit. He chewed casually, eyeing the crowd and festivities rather happily. It was strange, to see so many as happy as they were in these times.
So when people danced, played music and made general jolly, Davids mouth curled up in a smile at the corners, humming along to the music and tapping his foot along. No one had noticed him, so far as he had seen, though he had not seen Mitsuki among the partygoers, and therefore the female may have seen him.

In the midst of the crowded, celebration filled streets, one person was not looking at the performers, but instead was making his way through the crowd. Beneath the red colored lens of his scouter that he wore on the left side of his head, Kazuya's pupil-less gray eyes could be seen, as every so often, power levels would appear on the lens, the numbers traveling through the wires connected to the scouter and wired to a receiver on the back of his neck, feeding the numbers directly to his brain, allowing him to view the power levels, but nothing noteworthy, as to be expected. Almost every single person in the crowd were average citizens, not fighters, except for two, but Kazuya was not within range to calculate the power levels.
Continuing to move through the crowd, he more than likely looked out of place, and it wasn't just the scouter he wore. With all his equipment worn, he appeared very much like a samurai out of Feudal Japan, minus the samurai helmet, instead wearing a hachimaki (headband) around his head. Except this was Long Beach, not Japan, and besides, all he could "see" was the heat signatures of every single person in the entire crowd, and there were a lot of people in this crowd, which was his only means of avoiding bumping into anyone.
If you didn't know any better, you'd think Kazuya wasn't blind at all, considering how he hadn't walked into anyone so far, as he continued to unwittingly make his way closer and closer to Mitsuki.

At first, Olesya wasn't going to bring her young ward to the festivities. They were in Neutral Territory, far more exposed than within the Dragon Territory. After the latest scare, Olesya felt more protective of the girl she was beginning to regard as her daughter, more adamant in keeping her safe. However, after a lot of discussion and a couple temper tantrums, Olesya relented. Dragon Territory wasn't a complete safe haven with the traitor still running free, so it wasn't too much more dangerous to take her out from beyond the walls. Still, as they walked through the crowd, a shiny baton flashed at the young girl's hip. Olesya had begun to train her ward in self-defense, to ensure that she can fend for herself. Having two fighters as 'parents,' there was no way she couldn't be. "Look, Les, there's puppets! Let's go!"Olesya grinned despite herself, relenting to the gentle tug at her hand, letting the young girl lead her over to the puppet show. Since there was a small crowd already gathered around, Olesya picked the girl up on her back piggy back style so she could see better.

Levi sat on the stage of his dueling piano bar, cello resting against his shoulder and bow in hand. He swayed slightly back and forth as he dragged his bow across the strings of his cello, Kaicho<Melody>, filling his home with the sound of Tchaikovsky. This past time settled his mind, something he frequently needed extra effort as of late. The bow Kyrie had given him performed marvelously and his cello seemed to sing as if in appreciation of the gift. A smile rested easily on Levi's face as he placed his passion into the music to make the world disappear, if only for a little while.

{{OOC}} GM-y THINGS AHOY! {{OOC}} MitsukiAs the young Asian woman watched the performance, A Young man wearing a Small but detailed mask watched her for alittle while before finaly slipping through the crowd to slide up alongside her. "The Lady has a most Wistful countenance." The young man spoke with a silky smooth voice as he reached into his sleeve, pulling out what appeared to be a bouquet of bright flowers, seemingly unharmed after being stored in such an improbable place. A Few surrounding them clapped in appreciation for the simple magic trick. "Perhaps she wishes to do more than merely watch the merriment occurring around her?" David As you sit upon the rooftops watching the people go buy, you find yourself visited by a Fuzzy black and white cat. Who looks upon you with complete indifference as it observes you observing the crowd below. KazuyaAs you walk on down through the crowded thoroughfare, the people manning the booths on either side of you clamor to get your attention with challenges to games or various homemade foods of dubious and not so dubious quality. Eventually a pack of young children seemingly running around playing a game of tag would collide with the blind man, sending them sprawling to the ground with a calamity of colorful curses. "HEY! Why don't you watch where you're goin spud!" Cried a rather impudent wretch before they pulled themselves together and ran off at high speeds. ((You have three more posts before you realize something is missing! =D )) OlesyaBefore the amassed group of children, a man clad in the most outrageously colorful checkered slacks and matching vest and tunic with a vibrant longcoat lined with white fur along the collar, giving him the appearance of having a mane. Upon his face was a Long nosed Porcelain mask, a colorful wide brimmed hat upon his head and the most strangest of all, the man appeared to be standing on a rather long pair of stilts making him appear almost 12 feet tall! With Legs Expertly crossed to allow him to crouch low like some looming bird of prey, The man was performing a Punch and Judy Puppet show using marionette puppets with expert skill as his voice changed from Shrill and icey high for Judy, and low and gravelly for Punch, his masked head twisting this way and that as the performance continued below him, his hands twitching as he made the puppets dance. LeviLevi would have the Crowd completely under his spell as they watched and listened in awe at Levi's skill. Standing within the crowd unmoving stood a young girl dressed much like a colorful porcelain doll Wearing yet another Mask.......

She felt a...different presence beside her- not like one of the spectators. When she turned her head...she was right. A man in a mask with a performer-like voice? And bam- flowers. She looked at the bouquet and then at him, almost confused. Those around them that saw were clapping, but Mitsuki frowned...she was here to enjoy the music, not magic tricks.
But his words...held truth.
"...she does."
She wasn't sure why she spoke in the third person, but whatevs. It wasn't as if she would be seeing this guy again after today. She stared at him for a moment before turning back to the musicians.
"She is also curious as to why you single her out."
He could have approached anyone in the crowd. What did he want?

With his Qi activated, Kazuya could "see" the outline of the heat signatures of the various people manning the booths clamoring for his attention, though he wasn't here to accept challenges of games or buy various homemade foods. Continuing to make his way through the crowd, as he passed by a group of kids seemingly running around playing a game of tag, they would collide with him, sending them kissing the ground amidst a tirade of colorful curses that would make a sailor blush.
"..."
"Staring" down at the kids with a frightening look on his face as one cried out at him before they pulled themselves together and took off, Kazuya would turn and move on, heading off in roughly the same direction the kids took off in, but with a slight deviant. His scouter had registered the kids power levels, as with every other person in the crowd, but nothing of note.

Bastille would be loitering around a small band playing their jazz music and holding one small baby in tow. No longer recently born, the baby girl was developing her bright green eyes nicely, and she smiled in a bright manner. She was also getting bigger, and thus already hard to hold. Aryanna had fallen asleep early that night so Bastille had found no heart to lift her from her bed and thus left her at the mansion with Mathew. But Evelyn was being particularly fussy so she had taken the baby out to training. Bastille had been headed back with a still crying girl in her arms- so what better way to get the girl to calm down than to head out and do something she often hated doing- being social.....
Bastille held the girl on her hip, wearing a simple t-shirt, jeans, and a black trench coat to cover up her bruised and battered arms, including the broken arm she was sporting. Despite this, Evelyn sat calmly on her hip, gurgling in a giddy manner at the music. Bastille smiled at her and kissed the girls forehead, helping the child to the ground and making her dance- despite the fact the child had yet to learn to walk. (though she made an exceedingly decent crawler- her sister and her both) Bastille swayed her back and forth and made a smiley face at her.
"There you go, you're dancing...see- such a good dancer..just like mommy." She beamed. She didn't recognize anyone yet, and so far- she was enjoying that. She could talk to babies...she was finding it harder and harder to talk to people.

Down from Davids shoulder crawled the small mechanical Dragon, resting on his knee, sniffing the air in the cats direction. David looked over at the small, fuzzy cat and smiled, offering his hand..
"Here kitty kitty kitty kitty...tch tch tch."
He flicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth, making noise in the hopes of luring the feline closer.

It was the first time Kyrie had been back, since she fled to seek shelter under Delilah's wing and caring, empathetic strength. In fact, she was heading through Neutral Territory, back to her Dragonkin, when her sensitive ears caught wisps of music. And laughter. A crowd. Though she felt a twitch of unease, but her curiosity was greater. And she was at least at-ease enough that she was no longer living in terror.
The flashbacks that occasionally did happen? She always tried her best to take Delilah's advice. Let the wound bleed, let the infection out.
So, drawn by the music, she merged with the edge of the crowd, trailing through like a ghost. A ghost that, as she found the beat of the music, gained a skirt of black shadows. Partially transparent, with several layers, it twitched and flowed. And soon, the blonde found herself in a clearing. Counting time to the upbeat jazz, and with no hesitation despite not having a dancing partner, Kyrie let herself take in the moment. Another tidbit of advice from Delilah that was especially useful.
Allowing her heart to be light, she twisted herself into a spiral, letting the shadow skirt flare out as she slowed, and stepped out, lead by an invisible leader, arms up in a precise way that made it obvious what she was doing, even if people weren't familiar with West Coast Swing. Her movements were timed to the undertones of bass, which had a good, quick beat.

Levi's eyes would remain closed as he completed the piece with a passionate finale that slowly faded to quiet. As the crowd cheered, he stood up slowly, taking a small bow before looking up. He smiled modestly as he beamed at his audience, quickly noticing the small girl. The girl disturbed him somewhat, but he would not create a scene in front of such a good audience. He maintained his performer's composure as he continued to take small bows. After a minute or so, Levi began to walk back stage as One of the taller men, wearing a black business suit and sunglasses, in the corner walked to center stage and placed his hands in air.
"Thank you for coming. Mr. Kayamei hopes you enjoyed his performance. We hope you will come again."
Levi entered the back room and placed his cello in its case, his mind still occupied by the disturbing doll-like girl with the mask. He latched his case shut and walked back out on stage to mingle with the audience members that chose to stick around, something he rather enjoyed. His eyes scanned for the girl as he stepped down from the stage, hoping she had simply left.

Maddie's childish laugh of delight rang in Olesya's ear, and though it was a bit loud, she didn't mind in the slightest. Seeing Maddie happy made Olesya happy, even if it meant premature hearing loss.
"That man is so tall!"
Olesya smirked. Oh to be young again...Les felt she was living through her childhood wonder again vicariously through her young ward. It was amazing how something so clear and unenchanted to Olesya could seem so magical and impossible to Maddie.
"He's wearing stilts on his feet."
Olesya pointed out as the colorful man bent down to perform the puppet show. He was making his voice squeaky high and gravelly low to depict the different in characters.
"Can I have stilts too?!"
"Uhhh we'll see."
Olesya assured in the way parents do when they pretend to agree to placate their kids in the hope that they'll forget all about it and not wind up breaking their necks on something so dangerous.
