1327 Adams Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska. GPS #- 804127r48e29 "I had this place built for myself some years ago. Punch in the gps number in your gps to find it. Go there, only if you have dire need. Punch in 48176 on the keypad to the door. This number and building is only usable once, but will protect you. Make sure this is the LAST place you go to before using it, as it will not let you out until it deems you safe. Burn this after memorizing. Goodbye my love, and be safe. -Andrew." ________________________________ "1327 Adams Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska. GPS eightohfour, onetwentysevenR, fortyeightE twentynine, security fortyeightoneseventysix."All this was softly murmured under her breath as she continued driving towards the address. There was no GPS, so the number was completely useless, but at least she had an address to work with and a map to follow. Southern California to Nebraska was over a thousand miles...and because she had to keep stopping to look at the maps, the trip itself to actually get into Nebraska took a little over two days of nearly straight driving. By the time she hit Adams Drive, Mitsuki's back was sore as hell, as well as her butt and her legs. She arrived at her destination, but all she saw was a small shed. Initially, she was confused- did she pass the house? She expected a house, at least...but there were no other buildings nearby. None still standing, at least. She parked her bike a couple feet from the shed and approached the door, skeptical but not completely hopeless. Travelling over a thousand miles to find nothing wouldn't have made her angry, but definitely upset. Putting all that effort only to find out that it had been in vain. Hnnh. But she saw a keypad. The doors wouldn't open without it and her brows furrowed. No effing way. She pulled the gas mask off and held it in her hand, while her free hand slowly punched in the numbers as she had memorized. 4817--- It was dark getting outside. Mitsuki had punched in the numbers just as the sun had almost completely set. The girl's lithe figure was shown through her clothing, which were more form fitting than her attire during her high school years. Black skinny jeans as opposed to sweats; kevlar hoodie with a leather jacket over, as opposed to zip-up sweaters and boxy tees. She pushed her black hair away from her eyes quickly before punching in the last number... ---6. The keypad quietly beeped and the door hissed. A small pop. The door propped open and Mitsuki was hesitant to step through. Looking inside...was just a staircase. She didn't quite understand. But there was no 'you'll-regret-this' gut feeling; she didn't feel endangered. Maybe it was the travel, and she didn't want it to go to waste, or maybe because Andrew - at least, six years ago - was her safe haven. She stepped through and descended the stairs, the heels of her boots lightly clicking with each step.

OOC: GMing for now As she descended, small lights would flick on the sides of the stairs, only coming on as she stepped on it. It would take her down twenty, thirty, forty steps before she reached the bottom. A slight scratching would be heard before a voice would speak from the dark. It was Andrews voice. He seemed to clear his throat, and it was obvious it was a recording. "Uh...he-hey Suki. Andrew talking. I know its...been a while since we saw each other last. A few months, anyway. I never planned to make this recording, what with you being dead and all, but I guess...well, it can't hurt. Maybe the world is lucky, and you lived, and someday can hear what I have to say here." "As I told you, this is a safe house. A zero-one facility capable easily surviving a direct nuclear assault. The stairs you came down will seal on their own, and only mine and your thumb prints can open it. Otherwise, it's seamless reinforced steel. The rest of the facility is quite expansive- a library, movie selection, weapon rooms, a large garden with simulated sunlight and a computer system. The place has enough space for twenty people, and enough non-perishable food to last those twenty for two years. I spent the entirety of my lifes fortune on it, and I think you will agree, it was worth the price." "Now, contrary to when I told you about this place, I've reversed singular lockdown protocol- so this place is accessible at any time, instead of just once. It could be a home for you, if you want it. Or for...anyone else you happen to find." He seemed to sniff, before letting out a little breath. "I think back, on the time we had together. When you and I said goodbye. I can't...stop thinking- why didn't I go with? What kept me? Everytime... i cant think of a good response. I suppose...I never will. I'll...just stop now. I know you have probably been through a lot, if your here now. I love you, Suki. No matter what. I-...right. Well...Goodbye." The recording seemed to cut off before lights would slowly come on to reveal the entryway before her, leading to several other rooms that would each gift to her various degrees of knowledge and weaponry. His voice.
Her feet stopped moving and her head tilted, trying to gauge how long it had been since she heard his voice. Not the voice that Scene would mimic when they crossed paths...but Andrew's voice- in the flesh. Was that seven years ago? She pushed herself to continue her descent while his voice continued to echo, proving to be painful reminders of her past. Not because of Andrew Black, but because of what resulted of her relationship with him: their daughter, Sierre. A beautiful creation, one where her heart had been poured out time and time again, protecting and nurturing the bright, lively child...only to have her ripped away, crumbled beneath the rubble.
Painful.
I-... right. Well...Goodbye."
His words, despite having been pre-recorded, were a stab to her heart. Mitsuki had several years to put her love for Andrew at rest once it was confirmed - for her - that he was dead. It wasn't a stab to her heart because she missed him or because she was still in love with him, but because for a split second, it almost felt as if he were alive.
And then, remembering that he wasn't there- like he hadn't been for the past six years- and remembering that Sierre, their daughter Kari, wasn't there- and how she hadn't been for the past nearly two years now.
And how Mitsuki was here, breathing, living. Survivor's guilt. Was there ever a cure? Was she allowed to love, whether it be another man or child? When the lights flickered on and the voice cut off, she found herself sitting on the bottom of the stairs, hand tightly grasping the railing, her head resting against the cool bars.
She sighed, and remained in that position for a good twenty minutes. Thinking, spacing out, remembering, spacing out. Repeat.
The first room she went into was the garden. She lurked for a good half hour, trying to figure out who or what or how this garden was being so well-kept while simultaneously being in complete awe. Her hands lightly brushed against some of the plants- they were absolutely stunning.
The room after that...would be the main bedroom. She just stood at the entrance, staring in. Was this where Andrew slept? Where he expected her to sleep?
She slumped to the ground and closed her eyes.
"...what am I doing here," she asked, to no one...because there wasn't anyone.
What was she looking for?
Or...more importantly, was there anything for her to find?

As she stepped into the room, it took several seconds before lights came on. Suddenly, the wall surrounding the pool shifted, then split in the middle horizontally, one half moving up into the ceiling, the other moving down into the floor, there still being a great lip above the pool area. Large flatscreen TV's flickered on, about twenty in all, and were showing areas of the state- the pictures changed, as though switching to different cameras. Apparently, these TV's were linked into what was left of the governments cameras that had been placed all over the place before the bombs had fallen.
Now, she had access to all of them.
Next to the bed, on the nightstand, was a laptop, which flicked on and showed control. There was a list of camera numbers, and there were 244 online in total with the initials NE at the top. Next to the laptop was a small device that looked like a pair of sunglasses. On one side they appeared normal, but the other side had images and numbers in them. A note was written next to both.
"The laptop is linked directly into the FBI. If you have to leave, you can still view those cameras from any state linked to them from this computer, which will require you to set up a new password. The glasses will show distinct statistics on everyone you meet, comparing their current abilities to yours via the use of numbers, so you can always know what you are up against. Hope they help. Check the weapons room as well. -Andrew"
OOC: Mitsuki has recieved:
Laptop with direct link to former FBI security cameras. Can be connected to any TV system so long as cables are provided.
Stylish sunglasses: These allow Mitsuki to compare her stats to the stats of anyone she is fighting, items included.

...what the--
Still slumped on the ground, she watched silently as the room unfolded before her. The walls shifted to reveal a panel of multiple flat screen TVs, showing abandoned, vacant roads in some areas and others...where people lingered the streets-
She stared in awe. Were these cameras live? She stood up and walked down the center platform, drawing closer to the multiple cameras that panned across the room. Of course, only a few of the locations were familiar. The assumed there would be no working cameras in both Crow and Dragon territory- those would be cut off, of course, for security reasons but... This was simply amazing. She didn't even know there were still functioning cameras.
She looked at the nightstand and saw a laptop, a pair of what looked to be sunglasses, and a note.
Hope they help. ...even in his death, he..
She folded the note and swung the black backpack off her shoulders. It was empty save for a few small tools in case her bike broke down and first aid supplies. The laptop was turned off before she slipped it into her bag, and the glasses...she tried them on, briefly, before pushing them above her head. She swung the bag back on before approaching the bed, running her hand over the clean sheets.
"Has it been seven years?" she asked aloud. There had been a brief moment when she returned to California, when she was convinced he was alive and had taken on the alias of 'Scene'...
She shook her head. With a sigh, she turned to leave for the weapons room.
