why does this rp always degrade into some unintellagent rampage of fantasy sex lives? the mods mite as well just stamp the board out themselves and save proboards the trouble. ...Leon?  |

Also, I apologize on behalf of the somewhat disrespectful comments left by certain individuals in response to your anonymous message. :I Leon, would you like to impose a rule requiring all mature threads to be kept strictly to PMs, or off the main board? It's easily done, and probably a good idea anyhow, to keep out board safe from being... stamped out. I see miscommunication!
-Point A: Guest is (assumedly) Leon.
-Point B: Guest points out (rather heatedly) that 259ers have been posting up mature threads. As Leon, this is merely a sign that we have not been respecting his laws as the head of this site nor showing him respect. Also, the violation of ToS is very real and many old XIN sites have been torn apart because of this.
-Point C: 259ers show a bit of disrespect to the Guest, taking no heed to the warning and even making light of the guest's very real implication of the threat. Not only have we shown disrespect to what may have been potentially one of the Proboard witch hunters that go about reporting unfavorable sites that breech the ToS, we also potentially scared away one more potential 259er recruit (however unlikely)... and in the end succeeded in possibly showing disrespect to Leon.
-Point D: There is probably no one around here that is going to take the time and the work to band up against the head-head admins of Proboards and make them remove that certain "no strong sex" clause in their ToS, because of the actual reasons and our need for deviancy. There are plenty RPers out there that do take the time and the pains to work to make sure that potentially sexual threads are kept off the site, stuck to PMs, and/or even go so far as to archive their stuff elsewhere, in a more private location (including their own computers). That being said, we are the bitches of Proboards ToS and violate it at our own folly.
-Point E: Squee was having a serious moment and Robbie's comment was taken as making light of the whole situation... which, considering the lack of intonation, can be easily misread. Either way, neither party has a reason to take these issues personally, as it is just the matter at hand.
To this point, there HAVE been a rise of Mature threads on 259... and as a mod, we do need to take action against them, and/or have them stored in locations (hidden or off site) so that they can remain canon... so that we can preserve about half a decade's worth of hard-worked for RP history.
