Now, it's not really every day that something quite this big happens to me. And, it's really not every day that I get into fights with random ass people. Hell, it's not even every day that I end up getting the chance to show them why exactly I was named the Iron Dragon. But, it's also not every day that the number of people exceeds my badass-o-meter.
Here I stood in the middle of the street, legs weak and shaking, and drawing heavy heavy, gasp-y breaths. Blood covered me, and so did bruises. I ached just about everywhere. But, if you were to take a look around me, that'd make sense; there were thirty-four bodies laid about, each one bloodied and unconscious. Now, normally it was my thing to be gentle with people, but all of these guys had some sort of weapon and the chance for them to really hurt me was exceedingly high. And they kind of did.
My right hand painfully rose to my side, where I felt a sharp pain. I looked down to see I was cut, and bleeding... which really isn't good. An ironic smile crossed my lips before I fell to my knees, unable to stand anymore. It had been so long since I'd been in a fight, I must have forgotten how to take care of myself.
"Well, this... is shitty."
My hands fell to the asphalt, but I tried my hardest not to fall over entirely. My shoes scraped against the bloodied street as I slowly pushed myself back to a standing position, hoping to be able to get out of there. But, I didn't make it three yards past the group of incapacitated nincompoops before I just gave out entirely, and fell to the ground, face first.
"Ow."

Neutral California was the territory Mitsuki knew best, since it was where she 'resided' for the time being. So naturally, Skye (her BFFL) knew the area just as well. She trusted the dog with her life! So she put a blindfold on and, to strengthen her other senses and balance, was following him in a light jog. Unfortunately, it wasn't even five minutes when Skye came to a halt, whimpering as he gently pawed at her leg. Slight frown. She pulled down the blindfold and saw a freaking massacre all over the street. Bodies sprawled out with interesting weapons not too far from their grasp. Her eyes roamed until they landed on a figure, bloody and bruised- the only thing that made him stand out was that he was still conscious and the nincompoops were not. To be honest, she didn't want to get involved, but when he fell face first to the ground her legs moved instinctively to his side. She grabbed his arm as gently as she could, as well as his opposing shoulder to pull him back into an upright position. "You're a bloody mess."Uh, literally. He obviously could not walk on his own. "Lean on me-"Instructions, because they should probably get out of there. And it's not like he had the strength to stop her if he wanted to anyway.

I lifted my mouth off of the floor and pressed my forehead against the asphalt to spit the grime from my lips out. It tasted really, really bad. But, aside from that, I figured I could take a few minutes to go ahead and rest and regain my strength before those douchebaggerified douchebags woke up and tried to pounce me again. I'd probably be able to kick their asses a second time, but the cycle would freakin' repeat, so I might as well try to be speedy.
Sleep ALMOST got the better of me, but then I heard a voice. A female voice! And then I was like, play it cool, bro. You're only a messed up bloody giant, you can totally score. No, not really, the whole "score" part wasn't on my mind. But I still tried to play it cool, as per my personality and whatnot. So I turned my head and smiled at the lady! But my mouth was also a bloody mess.
"This is the style up in France, I tell ya."
A cough followed before she took my arm and my shoulder. "Now, no need to - woah woah woah -" She was a lot stronger than I expected, lifting me like that. Course, I kinda tried to help, with my wounded legs, but still. I guess I wasn't really expecting anyone to be helpful after this mob tried to kill me, though.
"I guess this is the part where I say "thank you", huh? Well, thank you, Miss."
I tried my best to do the whole ol' West nod thing, but it didn't really work for me. At all.

"...are you from France?"
Unimportant question.
Helping a conscious body was at least easier than an unconscious one. She pulled one of his arms over her shoulder and would help him start walking in the direction of the apartment building she resided in (though if anything, she was probably 80% carrying him). And the head nod thing?
He looked like the left over remains after being devoured by a pack of wolves. Like a scrap of meat.
Okay, maybe he didn't look that bad, but bloody hell- he couldn't even walk.
"What'd you do to anger them?"
Small talk. He was probably in a lot of pain- she was just trying to distract him as they walked. Though she was a bit curious- there must've been over 30 men.
...OR WAS HE ONE OF THEM? Dundundun...

"Honestly couldn't tell you if I was or not. Orphan baby and all."
I sounded pretty joking about it, though it was true. But it wasn't depressing, or anything. Hell, if anything, it probably made sense given how I was just found. No parents or anything, so I turn to fights and blah, blah, blah. Whatever, this lady didn't seem like a "holier than though" kind of person, so maybe that outlook was inappropriate. But, YOLO.
"I have a, uh... a history with gangs," I laughed, though that was a bad idea. Pain, in my sides. If it wasn't for this girl I would've keeled over again and THAT IS NOT A TYPICAL THING FOR ME. Usually I'm the one people lean on... I mean, look at me, I'm a giant. "I tend to piss 'em off at every - ow - turn and, uh, long story short, I'm the opposite of what they want around. Plus they wanted to prove something about Dragons or something like that, I dunno."
I just smiled. Relative to what just happened to me, today was pretty good. I had no idea where I was going, but it couldn't be too bad if this powerful woman was taking me there.

Hnnh. Even though he sounded like he was joking, Mitsuki didn't find it very funny. She was actually privileged in having two sets of parents; an adoptive set and her biological, both made efforts to stay a part of her life even when hundreds of miles away.
Also, why were people so tall?
"You're a Dragon?"
Welp, you just never knew what faction people were these days unless they had some sort of mark on them that said otherwise. To see that he knocked down over 30 people and was still conscious said something about his intelligence.
Either he was really dumb for fighting them all, or really smart for knowing how to fight them.
"What are you doing in Neutral territory?"
Alllllmost there!

"Yeah, heh. Iron Dragon's what I was named!"
I coughed yet again, feeling a little less manly. Here I was, telling someone I was a Dragon (though, not meaning to brag!), and I was beaten really bad, and I was coughing up a lung and half my pool of blood. That just wasn't really cool. But I just did what I do and that was make the most of it!
"There's a territory for us?"
I probably sounded like a phony now! I had no idea what was going on since I left. It'd been a loooong time since I'd seen any of the other Dragons. I figured they all went their separate ways, like they liked to do. Can't count how many times they've gone and disappeared. But, I guess I'm not really one to talk, am I? I left a lot.
I didn't know where we were going, but when we got there, I'd be pretty relieved to get off of my feet. And I'd make it a point to do everything I could to repay this woman. Iiif she didn't knock me out and cut out my kidneys or something.

"Yeahyeah, you all have names."
His cough sounded bad. She frowned- it was a shame. Having Leon's Qi would have been so useful if only she had the technology and equipment for standard medical procedures. She lived on the fourth floor, but she wasn't going to make him walk.
Instead, her eyes flashed and he would soon no longer feel the ground beneath his feet. They were flying! YAHOO! A little trick David taught her with his Qi- useful, but with it being her first time levitating herself with another person, was a bit difficult. Once on the fourth floor, they would walk again until she gently kicked the door open, and would set him down on the couch.
He was lucky she had more experience than the average person in the medical field. She looked at her shirt- bright red because the cut from his side soaked into her clothes. Hnnh.
"I think you need stitches," said a bit off-handedly as she opened one of the cupboards and pulled out a black bag filled with medical supplies- items she stole from one of Barker's labs with David a while back. From another cupboard, two water bottles, and a clean washcloth.

That remark just made me laugh. Yeah, we all do, and it's really simple, but the way she said it, it was just hilarious!
...
You had to be there. >_>
Now, I first had no idea about the whole fourth-floor thing, and I really didn't think I was being taken to her room in the first place. But hey, I would have been cool with walking! But, no, we're fucking - HOLY SHIT WE'RE REALLY FLYING WHAT IS THIS I'M SCARED MOMMY PLEASE DON'T LET ME DIE actually that's kind of cool. I mean, I was probably weighing her down - not that she couldn't handle it - or throwing her balance off, but it was pretty decent. And then came the landing, and it was just so... woah. My legs were weak from the get-go, and that just felt so strange on them! But, hey, I made it to the couch! Thank god!
"Sorry 'bout the shirt." I didn't realize I was bleeding so profusely, so I looked down and yyyyyyyyyep. It's a lot. But my whole body just felt numb, so it wasn't too bad in itself. "So wait up, you're taking in a hulking giant off the street, and then going out of your way to get him to a safe place, and then being nice enough to help with stitches, after said giant bleeds all over your shirt?" My eyes were a little wide.
"You're a badass."

OOC: Every time I read the title... EVERY DAY I'M SHUFFLIN'.
"It's fine."
Shirts were replaceable, people were not. She wasn't some saint that did good deeds because she wanted to- she did it because if she left him there then it would be forever on her conscious that the guy could have potentially died without some sort of aid. Especially with all this blood. Also, it was an opportunity missed because...
"I was a year away from being a doctor."
She pressed the cloth firmly against his side. It would hurt, but she had to stop the bleeding because it's not like she had blood packs on site. But something like stitches were standard procedure.
"I think the more interesting question, though, is how you call yourself a Dragon but not know about the territories."
Uncapped one of the bottles of water and held it out for him to drink.

"Oh, well that explains it."
I'd nod, but clench my teeth a bit when she pressed the cloth to my side. A breath forced it's way out from my nose from the pain, but it wasn't too bad. At least I wasn't dead. She'd probably have a really hard time patching me up from something like that.
"It's kind of a long story, but, uh, long story short, I haven't been in town in a while. I figured most of the Dragons would have gone off on their own like they tend to do so much."
A shrug would follow, and a hand reached for the water bottle. "Thanks," and a gulp would follow! The water hydrated me enough that at least now I'd sound relatively more normal than I did earlier. Though, it did taste a little funky when mixed with my own blood.
"You need me to hold somethin' or whatever?"
I totally had no idea how this went. I always let myself bleed rather than get stitches.

"Where'd you go?"
Asked out of interest this time, rather than to keep him busy.
"Yeah, hold this down for a couple minutes. Need to stop the bleeding."
Even though he was a giant, he still needed blood. RIGHT? Right. In the meantime, she pulled out a little plastic container containing the stitch threads and sterilized needles. Her hands already had some dry blood on them but whatever- hopefully this dude didn't have HIV or something else she might be in trouble. After she got the needle and thread ready, she went back into the kitchen and got another wash cloth, except this time, she poured the water bottle she had onto it.
AFTER SOME MINUTES~
She would push his hand away and start cleaning the wound.
"You might want to avoid physical exertion for a couple of days. You might re-open your wound and start bleeding again."
