Sean guided his bike deftly through the paths at speeds most would consider reckless, but it was this danger that made it fun. The adrenaline coursed through the boy's viens, removing the minor pains from the minor scrapes that he recieved when he came a little too close to a bush or branch that cun into his exposed arms and legs. He stood on the pedels of the bike rather than siting on the seat, using his bent knees as additional shock absorbers to maintain control on the rough slopes, but his backpack still bounced around occassionaly, forceing the bike rider to shrug the straps back onto his shoulders
The simple thrill was not what Sean was truly seeking out here, however, and his search was not in vain. The lean boy slowed his bike as he approached an unoccupied campsite. Sean checked the sandy firepit, ensuring that the ashes were cool to the touch. The next few minutes were spent gathering deadfall from the surrounding ground and seting them in a small fire in the pit. Setting his backpack to the side, Sean pulled out a bottle of lighter fluid, spraying the log pile thoroughly to ensure that it would catch fire.
Sean lit one part of a log that was particularly soaked in the volital liquid and the flames quickly spread to the others. After a few minutes, the logs needed no further help to continue burning. Sean simply sat next to it with his legs crossed and his hands in his lap, staring into the flames. The buzz from biking was fun, but there was just something about fire that was relaxing to the teenager, who let his thoughts wander with a simple, content smile on his face. I thank the gods most of all for this gift, he prayed to whoever might be listening.

"Pretty Fire Ain't It?" Asked a voice absently within the midst of the trees. It was odd how large the forest was and yet whenever a person entered they seemed to find company. Well maybe not every person found company, but Aris always did. Aris always managed to meet someone, hostile or friendly, wierd or oddly normal.
But wierd was usually the case and it was this thought that kept Aris atleast half a football fields distance from the fire and the boy. But it was night, every voice was heard every noise was intensified. Aris believed it was some agreement between the ears and the eyes that when the eyes saw less the ears heard more. And of course vice versa.
The fancy black pants Aris was so fond of wearing hung on him loosely. His black hair, spiked forward at the top was seen in his shadow the points almost looking like teeth. His white shirt was buttoned up, as always, and his gaze straight towards the kid. You see better from the dark than from the light. It was just like the police room where the supsects stood and someone identified them.
Except now Aris was the one watching and eyeing the boy trying to determine whether be was safe. And then, out of completely nowhere, it was one of those completely spontaneous urges that people get, Aris asked, "You got any food over there?"

Sean jumped a little at the sound of another human's voice, and frowned a little when he failed to find the source from the shadows. His eyes were slowly adjusting to the darkness after staring at the flame. Dispite his misgivings Sean replied, "It's beutiful." Sean was introduced to this school violently, and expected no less from anyone approaching in this manner. Everyone deserves a chance, Sean, you know that, he consoled himself. He warily shifted from his sitting possition into a squat so that he might have a better chance to defend himself if the need arose.
"You got any food over there?" the stranger spoke again, and Sean's face broke into a smile as he laughed out loud, the tension in the scene released rapidly.
"It's not much, but you're wellcome to share it. I wasn't that hungry anyways," Sean spoke as he caught his breath. Sean pulled out a couple of ham and cheeze sandwiches, raiseing one invitingly to the direction of the voice. Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad after all.

Aris grinned, "Perfect." His mind thought maliciously. And then his mind once again added, "I was starving." but this time in a voice which gave an indication of happiness and joy. Even perhaps innocence. Aris walked forward warmly. He really had been starving. Technically he was lost. He would never admit it, but he was.
Aris walked into the fire light and fell down onto his butt right beside Sean. He gleefully took a sandwhich from him and made a big bite out of the side. He chewed, trying to keep his mouth closed even with that large amount of food in his mouth. But soon enough the large piece of a sandwhich was chewed and swallowed. It came down his throat in one of those gulping ways which made the loud noise.
"Sorry." He said with a light smile, "I was hungry. And the name's Aris." He said holding out his other hand invitingly for the new friend of Aris's to shake it. Well Aris considered him a friend. If you were nice enough to give food to a stranger you are nice enough to be considered a friend.

Sean smirked at the display, not being one to split hairs on ediquite either. Such rules got in the way of the entertainment value of situations and made them stressful. "Sean here. I'm new to these parts," Sean extended his right hand to the other boy while taking half of his own sandwhich into his mouth in a single bite. Wonder if he's lost, he doesn't look dressed for the outdoors, Sean wondered about his new aquaintence. Sean was planing on just following the trail he took to get back home, but that would take a while on foot. Those were concerns for latter anyways though.
Sean still remained aware of the boy's movements, not wanting to get caught off-gaurd.

Aris on the other hand was completely ungaurded. He was merely enjoying the rest of his cheese sandwhich. He was a person who was confident in his own ability. If Sean had given off a feeling of superior strength and speed then Aris might have been a bit on the defensive. But seeing as he didn't Aris was just fine with being uncaring.
Then Aris heard the other Freshman say that he was new here. Aris grinned and new what the perfect way to fit in would be. And so he asked, in a rather monotonous voice, "Can you fight?"

Sean tensed at the question. Not sure wether to take the coment or a threat, Sean replyed without making any overtly hostile move, "I can hold my own if I need to." Sean now watched the other intently waiting for any attacks. Sean prefered not to fight, but sometimes there were not any other reasonable solutions to a problem, and pragmatism took priority. "You would have had a better chance of winning from the treeline." This statement carried the implied question of "why didn't you?"

Aris laughed as if the entire night had been a joke. Like an elaborate prank all set up to freak the kid out. "I didn't meat it in a I'm gonna kill you type of way. I meant that if you can fight, you'll fit in at the school." Aris said still smiling at the naiveness that had been expressed.
Aris got up as he finished the last of his sandwhich. "But now that you brought it up.... I think we should spar. Holding your own is not the level you want to be at." Aris said simply as if it were common sense. Then he gestured for Sean to get up and he spoke two words. "Hit Me."

"I see," Sean seem to relax a little, and actualy smiled a little. Test of strength then, might as well return the favor. Sean rose to his fighting stance, fists held just bellow eye level with his arms blocking easy access to his chest. His feet were both faceing forward, left in front of the right about shoulder width apart. The stance was very plain and basic, but was taught as basics for a reason. Though it could be somewhat predictable, it provided no obvious weaknesses to expoit either and was very efficent.
Takeing the invitation to mean that the chalenger was ready, Sean attacked, shifting his weight forward onto his left foot while bringing his right leg up and around the outside in a knee strike aimed for Aris's left common peroneal(dead leg spot). Sean's torso moved with the knee to add it's ineria while keeping his arms in tight, though his right did raise a slight bit.

Aris saw the shift in weight and new that it could mean one of two things. Either he was going to kick him or he was going to take a step forward and punch. Aris was well rehearsed in what to do in almost every given situation. He turned to his side instantly, being faster than Sean he was there at about the same time Sean was, Aris lifted up his right foot.
Now his foot was high and in a position like it was going to stomp on someone. From this position he could have done one of two things. He could have either kicked at his opponent in the stomach in a sidekick, or he could have kicked his opponent's leg. And Aris decided that since his opponent's leg was moving towards him anyways Aris would push his leg back.
So Aris sent his right foot out and Sean's leg, instead of making contact with Aris's leg, would make contact with Aris's shoe which would push Sean's leg back and then instantly turned to the side and lash out his foot in a sidekick aimed at Sean's stomach. Aris was hoping that Sean would recoil from the kick to the shin and would not have time to dodge the kick to the stomach. Aris being faster that hope was reasonably made.

OOC: Eh, considering it was a knee strike, if you kicked his shin away as if it was a kick, it would miss completly, but I'll run with it.
Sean noticed the impressive speed and fealt the pressure on his shin and allowed the inertia in his right leg to be reversed by the counter kick, and was forced to lower his center of balance when his leg came swing back behind him further than his original stance. Fortuanatly, this brought his torso, and gaurded arms in line with the kick that was originaly aimed for his somache. The force of the kick his his arms and pushed though to his chest, forcing Sean to step back to maintain his balance, leaving his footing reversed of his original stance. Speed and strength, but I wonder how long he can keep it up? Sean analized the situation, looking for an opening in order to get the upper hand.

OOC: Sorry for the long wait School just started. And double sorry for misreading your posts ;D
Aris felt his foot make contact with his opponent's arms and felt the amazing sensation of his opponent being pushed back. Aris just loved the feeling of having the ability to push people back. To be the one in control, the one who created the distance, the one who controlled the amount of speed needed.
But what Aris had which most people don't was speed and strength. And he understand that long fights, even if he did use small movements, were pointless. So he was trying to make his fights as short as possible. He was trying to beat Sean before he ran low on energy. So Aris generally relied on adrenaline and bursts of energy to take down his opponent's fast.
And that's what he did because as soon as his fright foot did it's job he twirled it towards his right side, but slightly closer to the opponent. He had to regain the distance that had just been created. But he wasted no time on thinking, the very second his right foot landed on the ground he used the momentum to keep twisting his body and his left leg flew off the ground and was going right for Sean's head in a roundhouse kick. It was fast and strong and Offensive. Just like Aris likes it.

OOC: Sorry for the delay myself, and for future delays, my boat's underway date keeps getting pushed back further, and everything is iffy at best ATM.
Sean's alert eyes followed his opponent's motions, noting the unwillingness to uncommit from offencive action. He's not about pressure, he's about energy, Sean reasoned as he brought his left arm up at an angle, deflecting the blow further up as he lowered his stance enough to have the cumulative effect of the kick passing by high with minimal movement on Sean's part.
From this possition, Sean shoved off with his left leg and leaned into a right punch aimed at Aris's Femoral nerve cluster (Inner thigh). Sean would then take a step forward to regain his proper stance and close range with his opponent in order in minimize Aris's speed advantage.
