David set down his pen, leaning back in his chair and taking a deep breath. Glancing around the war room, the Youngest of the Elder Dragons placed his chin in his hand, thinking to himself while taking a deep breath. Though he was proud, currently, of his and the Dragons achievements, he felt alone in this room of paperwork and plots. He had no one around whom he could turn to, whom he could step up to and discuss things with, as an equal. Whom could turn and issue orders as an equal.

Who could put his fist against his as an equal.

Thoughts turned to Leon.

While here, David had very little run-ins with the Lightning Dragon, and always it ended in one person interfering, people gaping to the ground or the sky or the fire or the shadow- not since high school had he stepped to the big fella and bled with him as an Elder. As The Storm Dragon. Fought until breathless, when you could hardly pick yourself off the concrete. Amtrum didn't do that with him- despite the Earth Dragon being a tough opponent, the man just didn't have the experience and the drive to challenge him. Not as David felt he should be challenged.

His blood, as he sat, began to boil.

It was time to test the metal.

He stood, removing his war jacket and heading for the door. Opening it easily, he took off at a jog in the direction of the lightning tower. Once there, he would slow and catch his breath with a walk, heading inside and looking to the first man he saw against the wall, standing Gaurd.

"Bring me Sudeki. He and I have business."

He would wait for the man to fetch the Lightning Dragon, hands closing into fists as he waited.

Leon was sitting at his throne listening to Yun give him the details of the prospects he had been searching out, some of it sounded good, most of it sounded horrible. He really was losing a lot when he lost his sight. His coat was hung in the vault, and his battle suit was in his room, he was still thinking over recent events, and did not suspect foul play to go down faster than he could get to his gear, nor anything that would deem it needed.

However when a runner came up to the throne room and saluted Leon's ears perked up, maybe something interesting was going to happen to distract him from this horrible day. Just like that the messenger spoke.

"Sir, Elder Blaze requests you at the gate, says you have business."

Leon smiled, not the usual smile you'd see someone make, no, his head tilted slightly down, yet his eyes focused upwards, his teeth beginning to show slightly as he pulled himself up. Heading to the front gate he'd stop not far off, not wearing any of his gear, yet his presence was hostile if anything.

"Oh I hope our business involves blood."

As Leon approached, David smirked, shoulders relaxing as he watched the big dog approached. He would start removing his gloves, then his coat, speaking as he did so.

"Bout time you got here, Sudeki. Youve gotten slow since you went blind. Slow....and maybe even weak?

David knew Leon wasn't weak...but he wanted that old fighting spirit of the Lightning Dragon to bare it's teeth.

"You have lived a posh life here, in your fancy tower with your gear and your lightning and servants. I grow tired of feeling like the only warrior left worthy of the title bestowed on me."

He grinned, now stripped of all items.

"No toys, no Qi. Just you and me, Sudeki. Let's paint the world red with blood."

He would lunge forward, not waiting for the to accept. He didn't leave the blind warrior a choice- he would fight. And though David knew the man was strong, he couldn't help but think back to when battles between them held nothing on the line. No titles. No land or purpose. Just blood to satisfy blood. He would aim a blunt force punch for the mans chest, aiming to blow the fellow away and into the wall.

Leon's grin only widened as David spoke, Leon gave no retort, except to stand ready and waiting. Leon's senses told him nothing except for where David was, he had to build an image of David through memory and the blob of essence he could feel. When David attacked Leon was launched away, slamming into the near by wall, a person sized crater forming in an almost perfect circle as his body was embedded in the wall, shards of cement and stone bursting forth falling to the ground in a hail storm of rubble and dust.

"Now we're talkin!"

Leon's facial expression didn't change at all as he stepped out of the dabree and set off in a quick leap straight forward to give himself of boost of speed as if he was gliding just barely above the ground. Leon would tap the ground once within range to spin himself around Leon would aim a right punch for David's center, aiming to slam him towards the ground.

David watched the man step out of the wall, his hands clenching and unclenching. Knowing Leon always took the first hit, David gave him the benefit of the doubt, waiting for the lightning king to attack, the blondes punch slamming into his chest and sending the young Storm Dragon backward, body hitting the cement and sliding, chips of concrete grinding up around his body as he slid.

He came to his feet, shirt a little torn but otherwise unharmed, feeling the pressure of where Leons punch had hit. The man had lost none of his edge, his fist none of it's potency. For David, it would be all the better when he put the big man to sleep.

"Keep that level of strength, Leon. Your going to need it."

He would walk forward, calmly. Once within range, He would perform one of his knew favorite combos- A harsh right uppercut, followed by a powerful straight punch for the mans midsection should he be lifted off his feet. If Leon slid backward and slammed into a wall at all, David would run after him and attempt to dropkick the man through the wall, to the dirt outside his palace, where the area around them could be open and free, and David could feel the cool breeze on his face.
