The park was a nice place. For Aureus anyway. It wasn't too big, and not many people came there. That was good because it saved the Freshmen from suffering through strolling couples and laughing children. All in all, it was a wonderful place to read. There was an abundance of flowers scattered in the nearby field, large trees that provided shade from the burning sun, and just the natural beauty of a place practically untouched by alot of people.
And so under a large oak, hidden almost completely, was a dark haired boy. His face was obscured by a black book with the words: "All Quiet on the Western Front" plastered in large letters on the cover. He seemed so at peace, and he was. It wasn't like the crowded, noisy school he attended. There wasn't anyone to bug him about simple algebra problems, or stupid thugs trying to steal his money, or insane adults who thought they were Greek gods. He was alone and surrounded by nature. Just the way he liked it.
However, as with many things, the serenity was soon broken by the sound of approaching footsteps. Figures. I can never be at peace for too long. Aureus thought while his eyes peered over the book. He couldn't see anyone yet, and hopefully that meant they couldn't see him either.

The park was a place were not always people walk their dogs and parents play with their dogs its also a place with some kind of peace in it. The sun was shining high up in the sky. The wind was blowing softly against my body as i made my way to the park. I wasn't really known in this area but i can make my way around here. I felt like i wasn't welcome around here in this side of the city i wasn't like living here. I was now standing infront of the park as i didn't see anyone i must have been wrong their aren't people around here.
" Hmm peaceful surroundings all for myself. Let the training begin."
I was walking into park having my hands deep inside the pockets of my black pants as the green sleeveless jacket was keeping me warm. The metal part of the headband was shining because of the sun. I walked deeper into the park as i walked passed a boy holding a book but i didn't really felt like talking and walked further and stopped on a open spot not far away from the boy and dropped the jacket next to me and tapped my hands. I took my fighting stand as i raised both of my arms and start doing some fighting punches and kicks to get the blood going and did them all around me.

Thankfully it was someone smart enough to leave me alone. Aureus thought before shifting his dark orbs back to the pages of the book. It's amazing how people could live through all that. Shells falling like rain all day. People dying right next to you. Almost no food. Toxic gas... the Freshmen thought as he was drawn deeper into the story. The novel was about a group of German soldiers in World War I. Aureus had read it years ago, but thought it would be nice to go over again. Books never got old if you read them in a cycle of years. And everytime you learn something new.
After ten minutes the sounds of nature and the stranger training were added onto by the shouting of what sounded like teenagers. Damnit! Aureus yelled mentally before looking up. And sure enough walking down the path was a group of suburban gangsters. Rich kids that lived in houses by the beach who though they were tough. At first they didn't noticed the schizo, but they sure noticed the boy who was training. [color=black="Hey! Look at this guy. Thinks he's Bruce Lee err somethin'. 'Ey yo how bout a fight big man? Got any cash on you?"[/color] A boy in the middle said while walking with his group towards Lex. Meh, he can take care of himself, I hope. Aureus thought as he looked the scene over. He didn't like to interfere unless it was necessary.
OOC: Try not to take 'em all out in one post.
