Project Alpha: Aftermath

[Koshiro WarHazzard]

Koshiro lightly touched his face.
"What is this stuff?"

He wiped it to the side, trying to wipe it off his face to the side.

[Marcus Prasad]

"Yeah, you can start by popping my shoulders back in"
Marcus would finally manage to wheeze between teeth clenched in pain as the shrapnel began to melt off of his body.
"Koshiro, mind......going into my right breast pocket. Y'll find a spoon. Pop it into my mouth."
If the boy complied, the mans woulds would slowly begin to scab over the second the spoon was wedged between his teeth.

Finaly he would notice he was leaning up against something soft and warm. Shaking his hair from his eyes he would look back in surprise.
"So, I assume.....that the glomps mean I won?"
This wasn't just a glomp though. She was doing something to his body, he could feel the pain in his tortured back being eased as disks were slipped back into place and fractures repaired.

"Lesson learned. Do not go full strength next time you do the mpg."
Or Marcus propelled grenade.
"Ugh, do I have something other than blood on my cheek?"
He asked noone in particular.

[Lucien DeChain]

Lucien felt the pain on his face be replaced by some sort of strange substance. It felt... strange. He touched his face gingerly, expecting some sort of pain in the touch. Instead, he realized he was fine.

And his comrades were not.

Mustering up all his strength, he ran over to Marcus and helped the man.

"Sir! Sir, can you stand?" Assessing his condition, it didn't look good. The blast had taken a lot out of him, probably too much. Lucien had never seen the large man's Qi before, as he was very seldom about using it...

Looking to Delilah, he called, eyes fearful. "First, requesting evacuation. The Grim needs medical attention."

Even after all of this, protocol was important. He couldn't lose himself in the situation. That would be weakness.

[Eurydice Sudeki]

Eury looked at Rai ready to answer until she began noticing the shrapnel disappearing from Marcus's back right out of her grip.

"The fuck?"

Brows frowned in confusion. She looked at the other who came first (Koshiro) noticing the black goo on his face that seemed like it didn't want to be removed. She looked down at her arm and leg and realized it was gone. Hell the pain seemed to vanish. The hell was going on? She hadn't any substance on her face did she? Removing a hand from Marcus she quickly checked. Nope. Nothing. Marcus speech snapped her back into reality as she pulled him away from her and looked at his face. It was the same. Another man ran over calling Marcus 'sir', he to had the same on his face. Bewildered Eury glanced between the two then scanned the area for the others, her hazel greens catching the same on each.

~Why am I the only one not experiencing this? Whatever this is..~

Again she looked at Marcus's face cupping his cheeks with both her hands.

"It was unwise but you succeeded...I don't know what the hell is on yours and everyone's face but it seems to be melding with you."

Eury looked up at the man that wanted to move Marcus. Despite the words she used her tone was of the up-most calming nature.

"Wait, something is seriously wrong here. The black shrapnel disappearing suddenly, but the black stuff on your face isn't coming off is it? Don't think of it as nothing we don't know what was up with that thing. Trust me what I was feeling was nothing good I don't like this right now.. I can take care of your friend I promise he's safe in my care, if your seemingly fine check on the others with caution.."

She was worried for several reasons and needed to think as rational as possible. Whatever happened to her in her absence caused a lack of control of her gifts but still she would try. Letting Marcus lean on her again she knew he was in pain, with her psy energy she could potentially heal some trauma by stimulating or rather in this situation deadening the pain centers. She would be attempting to physically heal some of his wounds as well, not all because she needed some strength to help him. This was going to leave her tired for sure because she was pushing herself, willing herself to do this. Even with control she would be tired but with forcing it, she would be much more weakened. But it was a start for the man before her. Once he 'felt' better is when she would help him to his feet. She didn't want to move him while he was still in pain it would only worsen things.

Koshiro would do as he observed when Delilah knocked his shoulder out of place and pop the shoulders back in as he had asked and then reached for the spoon.

The mans wounds would begin to scab.
"WHAT THE HELL? What is this stuff?" He said with a child like wonder.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

(OOC: MAGIC SPOON OF JESUS HEALING!!! I thought you had forgotten about that little thing, I'm happy you found some use for it after all XD)

Rai complied to Marcus by popping his shoulders in place. Then he chuckled at the comment that Marcus made about using full power.

"Probably wasn't the-"

Then Rai saw Marcus face form some kind of black goo, and as he was about to mention it he felt it on his face as well. The hell... Then Eury announced that everyone seemed to be getting it. Then she made a comment about the fact the creature bits disappeared while the goo appeared. Things were not looking good at all.

[Yachiru]

Yachiru ran up behind her master and proceeded to hop onto his right shoulder, her nearly weightless body would have no bearing down on him, thus not being a physical hinderance. She looked in amazment as to how marcus was still breathing, but she decided not to say much about it, however she was hungry and she sweared Rai never cleaned out his pockets. She scrambled over to reach around and into his right front pocket to pull out a piece of taffy she had left there a couple days prior.

"Ah sweet candy!" She exclaimed brightly.

[Zack Asiv]

KAZUYA'S ON FIRE!

Everyone else can feel the substance hardening, and an odd feeling of penetration like it is metaphysically entering your body.

Except Eurydice.

[Kazuya Hikari]

Kazuya is on fire!

But when he notices the fire isn't doing anything to the substance on his face, he has the fire engulfing his body die down and eventually dissipating, as he relaxes and calms his mind.

[Koshiro WarHazzard]

This was......different. even for this crazy place. He would sit back and meditate. After all. Nothing looked like it was doing much. Instead of struggling he would relax and meditate.

Lets see what this does.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would feel the goo on his face begin to harden, then he felt it adapting to him, Rai would do a quick self diagnostic with his Qi infused blood to see if he could feel anything off or different in his body.

[Zack Asiv]

Raikotsu feels nothing abnormal.

Kazuya notes the goop has hardened already and is seemingly hovering just off his skin on the majority of his face, leaving only his left eye and left portion of his forehead exposed.

Koshiro's calm mind slows the goop, but it is still moving.

The black goop on Marcus' face expands quickly and wraps around his entire head ripping the spoon from his mouth, causing a large amount of pain as it takes over very quickly.

[Kazuya Hikari]

With the goop having already hardened and seemingly hovering just off his skin, covering a majority of his face except for his left eye and left side of his forehead, his one visible eyebrow furrowing curiously, he would quickly dart over to the others, mask visible to all.

"... It appears the black substance has hardened into a mask..."

He would state calmly while lifting one hand up and would tap at the mask curiously before making a motion as if he was pulling the mask away.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would hear Kazuya say that it was becoming a mask and would reach up to feel his face.

[Zack Asiv]

Kazuya's mask vanishes in a small blaze of black flower pedals.

Raikotsu can feel the substance almost completely hardened into a kind of eye patch over the missing eye.
